Chapter 1

London 1/1/1985

Henry family was celebrating the arrival of their first grandchild, Mark, to this world on Christmas Eve , so on this day , the family had two holidays instead of one.

Jack, the eldest son of this family and the father of the child born on this day, was overjoyed. He used to distribute sweets to all the children he met on the street and he used to give money to every poor woman or man he met on the road as well.

It was not a happy day as it was today, Jack used to take a picture of his son Mark, once while he was asleep, once while he was eating and once he was smiling, so the situation continued for two and a half years until Jack had an accident while he was trying to protect his brother Vlad, who is three years his junior. The accident was terrible, which  Jack lost consciousness for ten days, and when he woke up, he found three of his bones were broken, one of which was the pelvic bone that caused him to stay in bed for six months.

It has not stopped at this limit because at the end of this ominous year for Jack (1987), Jack is no longer able to have children anymore because of that injury. Three months after the injury, a snowstorm began hitting the village on Which he moved to with his entire family and his father and mother,  several monthes ago.

This snowstorm hit all the roads that lead outside the village, and the storm lasted for twenty days.

These twenty days were the worst days Jack lived in his whole life ever. His son became severely ill, he had diarrhea and a high temperature, and there was no treatment, there was no pharmacy in that village, there was only a herbal store and it was closed due to the storm, and also those herbs did not work and the road to the city is cut.

The child continued to suffer for a week until he became dehydrated and died, and the day he died, the storm ended, the bulldozers began to clear the roads from the snow, but here the hearts of both Jack and his wife Jessica began to cool down after losing their only son Mark.

Vlad felt more remorse after this incident because of him his brother had this injury that prevented him from becoming a father again, and after several months, Stephan, the father of Jack and Vlad,. He felt that he had to intervene to get his family out of this abominable sadness that inhabited the hearts of the family .

Stefan thought a lot with his wife Melis until he finally found the solution.

  Suddenly Stefan came and said to his children: "I know that the time is not right for this, but we have to overcome this bad stage, since Jack recovered from the fracture, and your mother and I decided that the date of the wedding of Vlad and his fiancée Julia will be early next year [1/1/1989] on a day  Next Christmas. "

This decision surprised all of Jack, Jessica and Vlad, But Vlad felt guilty about what happened to Jack and told him: "I cannot marry now as if nothing had happened. Other than that, I am part of the cause of this suffering. My brother and his wife are living today in a tragedy. I cannot act as if nothing happened.  "

  But Jack said to his brother: "Do not think about what happened, because it was not your fault. Everything that happened was just an accident that no one is guilty of."

Vlad insisted on his opinion, so Melis told Vlad: "I know that you feel sad and upset over your brother condition because of what happened. So we want you to get married now, because this marriage will take place now in order to compensated your brother for little bit after all that  pain that has be fallen into ".

Vlad did not understand what his mother meant when she said the word compensation.

  The wedding took place on the specified date, on the day of Christmas and a year later, and on Christmas Day also, Julia gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl, who were named Mart and Marta.

And after the family ended their celebrations. Stephan revealed what he was hiding inside of him when he set the date of his son's wedding a year ago and some months ago and told everyone : "I know that what I will say you will not like, but it must be said and implemented.  You were not guilty of anything, you did not mean that an accident happened that caused your brother a problem that would never be solved, and you were not guilty of the death of his only son, but you made a mistake that caused that accident so as your mother told you before this marriage was part of it in order to compensate Jack for what happened  ".

Julia asked her father-in-law, " What.... what ... What do you mean that part of this marriage will be compensation to his brother ?! "

Stephan sighed and looked at his wife, then looked at his son's wife and said to her: " I know that it is difficult, but Jack  must take Marta to raise her as if she were his daughter, as you know that the mistake that Vlad committed caused infertility to his brother and after the death of Mark, (Jack's son) There will be no other opportunity to make up for Jack for what he lost except in this way " .

Julia answered him, saying, "We are not responsible for the death of his son, to pay for his death by giving him our daughter. No, I am not consent and I will never give them my daughter."

Her husband's mother, Melis, replied: "But Vlad was the one who caused Jack not to compensate for what he lost, had it not been for Jack because of Vlad, Jack could have had another child with him and his wife to compensate them a little and forget their pain on their son. so hear me well, Jack will take Marta she will not   die, but will live normally, and you can see it whenever you want, as you are one family. "

Julia tried to resist the matter until she requested separation from her husband, who surrendered to his parent's decision and refused to listen to her after she suggested the idea of ​​traveling and moving away. Jack felt sad about what had happened and said to his father:" I do not want this, Dad, I do not want to take my niece.  From him, the most difficult thing that happens to a father and a mother is for their children to be taken from them. My brother was not guilty, and I do not blame him for what happened, so close this issue now, please."

But Jessica, who loved the child from the first sight of her, and felt that it was a Christmas gift to her, and after hearing of Mehlis and Stephan's decision, she objected to what her husband said and said to him: "But I want the child."

Vlad and Julia felt hate towards Jessica when they heard that from her, but Jessica did not care as all that was occupying her mind was only the child, and Jessica was able to convince her husband of the matter, as he did not want to grieve her more because of his intense love for her and so as not to lose her after all that he lost.  right Now .

This is how Marta was taken from the care of her real parents and placed in the shrouds of her uncle and his wife, who traveled with her outside Britain as soon as Marta was officially registered as their daughter, and thus Marta no longer met her parents, brother and sister. Her sister Suzy, who is almost a year and a half younger .

Marta grew up believing that her real parents are her uncle and his wife, that her brothers Mart and Suzri are her cousins, and that her uncle and wife are her parents.
