More details: Although it has an intriguing start, the progress slows down as what seems to be a mundane day with MC’s grandpa follows. However, it is this slow pace of the opening chapter which makes the actions that follow more impactful. It is not an opening that puts you right in the middle of the action, but rather, build the surroundings and characters slowly to give more significance to the twists and actions that fills the story later. The writing is on more descriptive and vivid side, so you get clear visualization of the characters and even the layout of their home and the other benign items in the room, etc. These are the details some readers find as a must to enjoy a good book, while others might see it differently. However, ultimately this is fitting to the slow pace of the opening chapter and when the action takes place the pace is controlled suitably to speed up and convey the desperate situations that MC finds himself in. I think the writing style and the pacing works both for and against the story. While I think it is suitable for the plot and what I believe the author is trying to do, and there is certainly much to look forward to in the plot and there is a promise of a lot of interesting drama to come. However, it might be a bit of a difficult read for readers with a little less patience. In short, if you are a fan of expansive and slow burning book I think you would find this story enjoyable and it is worth giving it a go. Good work, author-san! :D

The story seems promising, with the fight sences and concepts the author has shown this far I hope it will continue following the same direction, the beginning was quite interesting and the MC is kinda acceptable, so for he hasn't got any cheat codes or anything and is solving his problems with his own power and intelligence, something rarely seen.

I've read five chapters, and I'd say this book is a matter of preferences. The writing is descriptive, and the beginning is a bit of a slow start but still allows you to anticipate the rising action in the following chapters. The ML has too much of an adult mindset to be a kid and by the looks of it, he's on his way to being an edge lord. Overall, pretty interesting read that fits the dark fantasy genre. Would totally recommend

The author seems a bit busy or he is just lazy, he uploads chapter every once in a few days; the MC is okay, the first chapters were fine, so far the way the story goes it will be worth giving it a try.
