AYAN'S POV
After talking to Arsen I found myself in deep contemplation. Deciding whether to press charges or not was going to be difficult. However, I was curious to find out what Arsen had in store for tomorrow when he gave his judgment.
Later, that day I met up with Laika, Samira, and Maris who came to meet me in my room since I couldn't leave it due to the physicians' orders.
"Are you alright?" Laika asked me as they all came to my side whilst I lay in bed.
"No, luckily His Majesty got to me before the General could do anything to me."
Samira then suddenly knelt before me, tears streaming down her face. "Ayan, I'm so sorry about what happened I swear on my life I had no idea he planned to kidnap you. He told me he just wanted to talk to you. I know I should have been more aware and suspicious of his intentions I'm just..." Her voice broke as she spoke.
