EMPEROR ARSEN'S POV
I ran out of Teon's room and made my way back to the imperial knights' wing. There was no way, I thought to myself but I had to consider the possibility.
Having arrived once again, I saw the knights I had given the prince retrieval mission on their horses setting out to leave the palace. That was fine they could continue on with what I'd ordered them to do. I instead went to find one of the many captain knights in the palace.
Knight captains were in charge of all the many group-assigned duties of the palace. So for example the captain of the knights in charge of patrolling the external palace, the internal palace, the guard that protected my son and I, etc.
I randomly entered the office of one of the captains. "Your majesty," he greeted me as I entered his office.
