AYAN'S POV
It was definitely a bold move to just hug the emperor like that. There was a high chance he could have rejected me and punished me. However, it was an instinct I just felt that something was wrong and he needed support that's all.
When he suddenly grabbed my arm and pulled around I feared he was about to yell at me. However when all he did was hug me properly
His strong arms came around me and his head fell onto my shoulder. I heard him cry. Touched, I placed my arms around his back and held onto him tightly. Encouraging him to let it out.
His Majesty had been there for me when I was going through a tough time with the General, I too wanted to be there for him as well.
