Carson Flores got off work, walked out of the company, and saw the familiar Bentley parked at the intersection, with Camille Rhodes leaning on the window, smiling mischievously at the factory exit.
Carson pretended not to see her, bowed his head to fish out a cigarette, lit it for himself, and blended into the crowd, walking to the side.
After a while, Carson breathed a sigh of relief, "Hey, she didn't see me?"
He quickly pulled out his phone, turned it off with lightning speed, and then he finally relaxed.
"Heartless scumbag, pretending not to see is one thing, but even turning off your phone…"
The crisp feminine voice that suddenly came from behind made Carson's steps falter, he glanced helplessly, and turned his head to see the Bentley quietly sliding on the road behind him, with Camille propped against the window, laughing happily.
The workers leaving work around them all turned their heads, fixing their gazes on Carson, with varying expressions in their eyes.
