Chapter 122-Welcome to Gela
On the fifth day, it was the Harvest Festival in Velen.
During the day, the atmosphere was solemn, with long ceremonies of worship. But as evening fell, the forest valleys were filled with the aroma of wine, and the elves reveled, drinking heartily, dancing, and singing with berry garlands adorning their heads.
Drunk luminous elves seemed much more amusing. Margaret pulled Harrison along to join the festivities, and no one objected. There was even a young-looking girl who brought over a whole barrel of fruit wine, inviting Margaret to taste.
"It's newly brewed cherry wine!" the elf joyfully introduced. "No one can resist its taste."
At that moment, barriers and prejudices seemed to disappear.
Margaret held the wooden ladle scooping the wine, her thoughts hazy as she considered how strange the elves were.
