Disaster Spear - Alcohol - Drunk and Stories - After the Party

"The Disaster Spear?"

Philip muttered in a question after Sai presented him the spear

"..."

Seeing the Disaster Spear made the Saykranians tremble in fear and awe. Philip noticed this and wanted to know the reason

"You mentioned that this is one of the Twelve Disaster Sets? What are they?"

Philip hasn't grabbed the spear yet as Sai is just holding her arm forward

"The Disaster Sets is a series of weapons and artifacts that I bestowed on Saykrandae in hopes for my people to obtain them and battle against the Demon Lord's army"

"..."

Philip already knew what the Disaster Set is. He sensed the power emanating from Polem's armor and sword after all, while he was watching from afar. He was able to sense the disaster attribute since he was the Hero of Saykrandae at that point, also known as the Disaster Hero

'Though, if what Sai said was true. How come this spear was in her hands? What about the other sets? There must be a catch as to why she's giving me this, other than hiding it as a gift'

Then, as if Sai was reading his mind, she answered his questions

"When the Demon Lord was born and announced his invasion in my world, as the World Goddess, I had to distribute sacred divine weapons and artifacts around the world and have the Saykranians go through all the test and trials to prove themselves that they are the chosen one for the Disaster Sets..."

'A typical fantasy setting...'

"Considering this, the Demon Lord was very fast to execute his plans and move swiftly. Polem was only able to obtain three of the twelve Disaster Sets and the places where the other sets were overrun by the Demon Lord's army... Polem and her companions tried desperately to obtain the other sets, but ultimately failed... Sacrificing Saykranian armies, collateral damage, destorying allied kingdoms and empires, until some of the sets were destroyed from the forces that were trying to obtain them, such as Polem herself and Diapthóra himself..."

"..."

The three Saykranians' eyes quievered from the memories that were resurfacing. Perhaps one of those expedition has Corleona and Braudain as companions. It could've been luck that they survived after all of that

"Three Disaster Sets were obtained, five were destroyed, and three was lost..."

"And this Disaster Spear?"

"It was abandoned in a barren field, overrun by demons and undead, unable to be retrieved in any way..."

"Was it left there or..."

"It was there from the start..."

"I see..."

Philip didn't need to hear anymore to know the story

If the Disaster Spear was abandoned, it meant that the Saykranian armies, even Polem hersef, wouldn't be able to obtain the spear. It would be suicide to do so

Eventually, the Demon Lord came and declared ownership of one of the Disaster Sets

Seeing as how the Disaster Spear is in Sai's possession, it doesn't take for a smart person to figure out what happened

Sai intervened and reclaimed the Disaster Spear back to prevent the Demon Lord to possess a fraction of her power in this war that will overrule her own world

With this in mind, due to her intervening, a severe backlash might have struck her, either as a rule for World Deities or a rule imposed by the Divine Realm. This lead her to find and summon a hero as a last resort and she managed to find Earth and Philip

'I do remember that she came to Earth about four years ago... The same time Justine was transported here and Tenshi was born... Of course it was like that'

Sai stayed on Earth for four years before she found Philip more than six months ago. Due to the backlash, she might've took her time to recover and regain her power back. That might explain as to how Philip and the others overpowered her in their battle previously

'But something feels off... Why does Sai want to gift it to me? I'm the Spear Concept now, so I don't need actual weapons at the moment...'

Sai seemed to have read his mind again and answered

"All Disaster Sets has different properties... The Disaster Sword responds to my presence and my level if power, the Disaster Armor responds to my mental stability, the Disaster Amulet responds to my mortality. The closer I am to death, the Disaster Amulet would transfer power equivalent to mine to the wearer..."

Philip slightly glanced towards Clara and he could see her tightly clutching the amulet on her chest. He then turned back towards Sai and looked at her with eyes of pity and confusion

'Mental stability?'

Philip remembered the Disaster Armor shattering around Polem's body after her fight with the Demon Lord and he saw her gorgeous bare body, but that's beside the point

The concerning part is, if the Disaster Armor responds to her mental stability, then it breaking apart meant that Sai's mental stability shattered for a moment when he was inside Saykrandae

Sai was out of his vision and he wouldn't see her face, but knowing this means that something lingered in Sai's mind

It could've been the anxiety of his world getting destroyed and losing her status as the World Goddess or it could've been the moment she discovered the alien invasion

There are also possibilites of scenarios that he wouldn't have known at that time, like the fact that she was imperfect that was caused by the Divine Council or Saykeraborne seemingly calling out to her in that moment, but nothing bore fruit out of that

It could've been that Philip is overthinking and that the Demon Lord was just powerful enough to break the Disaster Armor, but that still ties to its response on Sai's mental stability

"..."

Philip shook his head and pointed at the Disaster Spear

"Then this spear?"

"It responds to the level of my Divine Energy"

"Hm?"

"But since I also practice Spear Mastery as a World Goddess, my divine energy is mixed with Spear Energy whenever I use a spear... The Disaster Spear violently reacts to that, to the point even I can't control it..."

"..."

It was true. As Philip looked at Sai's relatively small right hand that's holding the Disaster Spear, intense sparks and small lightning surged around her hand and wrist

The energy seemed to be chaotic and now that Sai is now a Spear Saint, the Disaster Spear became even stronger as it kept sending Spear Waves across the Dining Hall. Though, no one was getting uncomfortable by the humming sound that it's exerting

"Alright... I accept the gift..."

In the end, Philip accept the spear. He just wanted to know the story in the first place and he didn't have any plans to reject it. Sai also knows this much

Philip reached for the Disaster Spear and held it on its body. Sai immediately let go and the surging energy quickly transferred into his hand

The violet energy swirled and wrapped around his hand, then on his wrist, then around his arm. He raised the spear above his head and a bright violet light filled the Dining Hall

"Haaap!"

Philip then swiped the spear to his side in a stance and the energy exploded calmly until the surging violet energy dissipated and the violet sparks slowly died down. The length of the spear is almost more than two times his size

The spear became tame in Philip's hands. Perhaps it was because he's the Spear Concept and the Disaster Spear recognized him or it was because he's the ⟨⟨ Draconic Disastrous Hero ⟩⟩ and the disaster attribute was tamed. It's possible that it was also both

The spear hums quietly in his hand and he proceeded to sit back down, as well as Sai

"Thank you for the gift"

"No problem... I hope this spear will be useful to you"

"It will"

Philip then swiped the spear in front of him and placed the pommel on the floor and held it like a cane. He then wrapped his left arm on the body like he's almost hugging it. He placed the upper part of the body next to his neck and sat back like he was some kind of gangster

Everyone saw this image and couldn't help but give their own opinions on the sight

Some say he looks like a yakuza, a deliquent, a chunnibyou, a nerd trying to look cool, handsome son of a corporate owner, a demon lord, a cool husband, a cool boyfriend, and many more

Philip read each and everyone's body languages and changed his posture as he waved the spear vertically down on his lap

"So, now that the gift giving is done..."

"Hold on, wait wait wait!"

Natsume stood up and waved her hand

"Before we finish the party... What is best way to end it?"

No one answered and they let Natsume answer her own question

"That's right! Alcohol!!"

"Hmpf..."

Philip smirked as he internally scoffed. Hearing alcohol slightly lifted his spirits. Drinking this kind of beverage with people close to him is very welcome to him. He enjoyed watching drunk people do random stuff after all, since his tolerance with alcohol is also high

"Humph! It's been a while since I tasted alcohol in this planet... I demand the finest alcohol you have!"

Ken harrumphed as he brought his right hand down on the table

"Do Earth alcohol taste good?"

"I don't know the taste in Saykrandae or in the Divine Realm, so I couldn't say..."

Sai asked and Alucard answered

"Alcohol... That might be troublesome... I'll have the lightest one you have!"

Surprisingly, Katara seemed to have some self-restraint

Others also rejoiced while others smiled under their noses. The Saykranians also couldn't help but be infected by the festive atmosphere and decided to try Earthenmana alcohol

"Of course! Children will have their choice of beverage that doesn't have any alcohol in it!"

Mei'er just stared into empty space, Marielle gaze to his mother, and Bea also stared into emptiness, expecting that the situation to be like this

Even so, Bea's eyes seem to be glimmering and Philip caught this. Perhaps this is due tk her curiosity, or more accurately, Beatrice's curiosity on the taste of alcohol and how it affects oneself

He would help Beatrice, but it couldn't be helped. She's inside a child's body after all. She has to wait for several more years to be able to drink

After a short while, maids and butlers came out of the kitchen and brough dozens of bottles of alcohols of different brands, different proofs, and different alcohol contents

There were foreign brands and there were also brands that came from his home country, which he's looking forward to. Of course, there are a few chasers for people that cannot handle the taste of alcohol

Several minutes has passed, everyone has been drinking and telling stories to each other. Some were trying to get to know each other more and several or them were trying to incorporate the Saykranians to their group and welcome them wholeheartedly, to which they slightly warmed up and joined drinking

Several more minutes has passed, the atmosphere has already became drunk. One or two people were starting to doze off while four or five people were still very sober, including Philip. Some were wild and very noisy, while others were annoying each other, but they were laughing at the same time

Surprisingly, Braudain seemed to be slightly drunk as his cheeks were tinged red. He still has his arms crossed and he kept burping. It was a funny sight

Corleona has been crying for the past 10 minutes as a drunk and happy Natsume was trying to console her and hear her story as she switched seats beside her

Clara was also forced to switch seats on Natsume's seat after Natsuki called out to her. Clara's vision became blurry, but she could still hear extremely well. She kept drinking alcohol nonstop despite this

Natsuki was definitely drunk, but she's trying her best to be conscious as she flailed her arms into the air while talking to Clara

Sheena was dozing off as her arms and elbows are already on the table, like she's about to fall asleep. The only thing that's keeping her awake was the noisy Natsume and crying Corleona next to her

Celine was keeping her composure though, as she chugs a mug full of beer. Of course, her cheeks are tinged red and she kept glancing towards Philip

Rue started to day dream and sway around her seat while still trying to drink

Satou, on the other hand, looks like he has been an expert drinker and he doesn't look drunk at all. Seeing this, intensive research might make him more drunk than alcohol itself

Natsu also doesn't look like she's perturbed by alcohol as she swirls the liquid inside her cocktail that was being specially served to her by an expert bartender that is one of the butlers

Mathilda was completely out of it as she laid her body down towards Jude. She also started speaking gibberish in her sleep

Jude also made sure to wrap his arms around her body so that she won't rampage around like what happened when Philip first came into the mansion

Surprisingly, as a supreme expert head butler, Jude was slightly drunk and couldn't think too straight as the only thing in his mind is keeping Mathilda in check

This was honestly strange considering Jude's identity, but it might be because he entered a drinking competition against Ken

'Heh...'

Philip giggles internally after seeing the scene of Jude and Mathilda

In the end, Jude accepted defeat because Mathilda started to be a drunkard and he needed to attend to her

"HAHAHAT! I WON!"

Ken shamelessly declared

Vanessa was already slouching on her chair. She's definitely drunk and Philip couldn't imagine what she will do again, considering his first night in the Terra Mansion

Camille was very composed as she kept swigging a blood colored wine

"This tastes sweet..."

Sai commented as she sipped on a glass while resting her head on Alucard's chest while sitting on his lap

Alucard then took the glass of alcohol away from Sai in an elegant manner and drank it down in one gulp. Despite this, Alucard wasn't getting drunk

"You have a task after this, so don't drink too much"

Alucard gave Sai advice as Chibi Sai was staring at them while drinking a few packets of juice

Katara was also slouched as she's drinking from a glass of 0.01% alcohol using a straw. She's looking at both Alucard and Sai in some sort of envious eyes. As she sips from the straw, she occasionally hiccups

"..."

Philip laughed internally from the sight of Katara as she was getting drunk from one of the lightest alcohol ever made. It was like gap moe from her status as one of the oldest divine beings and the second generation Goddess of Curses

"Bah! This is bland!!"

Ken chugged down an entire bottle and threw it away. A skillful maid caught the bottle and handed it to a butler holding a towel

A few maids and butlers were already on standby, watchingand observing, to prevent any shattering of utensils or bottles

"Ah! This has flavor!"

Ken already chugged down his 50th bottle and threw it away

"Are there any delicious alcohol out there?!!"

"Sword God... This is all we have..."

A brave maid bowed and told Ken the bad news

"Hmph... Very well"

Surprisingly, Ken calmed down and crossed his arms again as he closed his eyes

One might see Ken as sober, but in reality, the louder he is, the more drunk her is

"...!"

Ken suddenly opened his left eye and it immediately landed on Phili after he sensed his gaze

"You! What are you drinking?! Give me that!"

Philip didn't mind and he unhesitatingly slid the bottle of gin across the table towards Ken

*Gulp!*

As always, Ken chugged it within a second and threw it away

"Fwah! That tasted decent!! I like your taste Sword Concept!"

In this moment, Ken became completely silent as he closed his eyes. A thin film of Sword Energy began to cover his body

'Heh...'

Philip inwardly laughed because this showed that Ken has been completely knocked out from being drunk

He then gazed towards the children

Marielle was already sleeping on top of Bari, who also has been drinking while gazing at him

Philip waved his hand, but Bari's reaction was unexpected. Her cheeks flushed and avoided eye contact as she looked away. The scene looked like a young woman falling in love for the first time

Philip didn't know what to feel. Although, he had to admit Bari's beauty

Mei'er has her eyes closed and Bea was observing everyone while drinking coke in a can with a straw

"..."

Seeing everyone drunk and doing random things made Philip's chest flutter. He was kinda happy, but he didn't want to admit it. More so, he enjoyed this scene and it gives him a peace of mind

'I have to protect these people...'

Philip couldn't help but mutter in his mind

"Hehe"

He then heard a cute giggle to his right. He turned his head and saw the most beautiful sight in a while

There was Tenshi, who has her head tilted as her blue-white hair dropped on the table and down towards the edge. She was holding her cocktail around the rim as she swirled the liquid

Her blue eyes glowed and her cheeks flushed with red color

"I'm flattered..."

Tenshi commented under her breath

"..."

Perhaps it was the influence of alcohol, but Philip was experiencing different feelings and emotions while looking at Tenshi. His non-existent heart was thumping loudly and heat spread around his chest

He became a little dizzy and excited at the same time, but his mind was strong

Whenever he drinks, he knows his limit and the number of glasses left before he truly gets drunk

'Two more glasses and I'll be actually drunk... I have to hold my pee to keep myself sobered up for a little bit...'

Tenshi heard Philip's thoughts and she smiled warmly

Philip stood up after chugging the remaining alcohol. He leaned forward and gave a kiss on Tenshi's forehead. Tenshi propped up her body demanding more and Philip knew what to do

He leaned more and kissed her on her lips

After a moment, Philip continued to walk away and Tenshi stayed behind. She knows what Philip is about to do, so she left him to it

Everyone else noticed Philip's departure and they know it was time to end the day. It was almost midnight after all. They could still continue until dawn, but they still jave some restraints even while severely drunk

They quickly finished their stories and getting to know each other, while the sober ones started to move. The maids and butlers also started to move and clean up a few dishes

After a few minutes, a few people exited the Dining Hall and followed Philip's route

While the other drunk ones were assisted by the maids and butlers

Philip let out a deep sigh as he gazed in the starry night sky on top of the roof. His eyes were glowing in golden light as a blue light circles around the edge of his retinas. It's as if his eyes were loading
