The people prefered the firelings due to their vast shades of personalities and kind and very simpleton behaviour.

It was until the time when the sightings of unknown creatures began and the scientist began experimenting on dead bodies of icelings and firelings

but they could not make out any new discoveries as the magic system left in dead was minimal . But it was obvious that government was never gonna give them the permission for the test on living being as it was against the biological and experimental ethic.

So many gave up but the sir William D Garot didn't he a military officers in beginning but lost a eye and was told to quit but he took medicine for 6 yrs and then came back as head military research scientist.

He was determined to conduct the experiment on living icelings and firelings

so he first stole their blood samples and saliva samples but it was useless as they lose their magical properties after seperation from body.

So now he went into isolation and with his most trusted subordinates he created a hidden place where he made necessary arrangements for experimental work.

He captured many theifs orphans and criminals kept them in his NGO ( experimental lab was hidden below the NGO) as not to make the government suspicious and hired the teachers accordingly.

He kept up the facade while giving them sleeping medicine and anesthetic drugs and carrying out his experimental analysis on them.

Thr experiments went on and on causing deaths and mutations in many people but after a explosion in the NGO it was shifted to slovakia general's power state.

This is a place ge controlled with iron Fist and now was very powerful. He took to many experimental approach but nothing cam out of it as the technology was still lacking in many aspects and he also understood that magic has to go hand in hand with the tech to improve its quality .
