BLOOD ROSE PACK

After the death of Blood Rose pack's leaders and their daughter Maya, the pack members suffered greatly in the hands of the witch and her brother Derrick. They were treated as slaves in their pack.

Nathan's Mom died after the death of her mate, beta Raymond.

Meanwhile, Nathan was never came back to the pack. Tania tried searching for her mate,, but she was never allowed to leave the pack as it was strictly guarded by pack warriors as commanded by witch Lana.

Tania was the only one who dared to disobey orders, as she refused bowing to the witch.

Lana spared her for she was aware of the role her mate Nathan played which made it possible for her to be leader of the pack.

So whatever Tania did, she was spared by Lana for Nathan's sake.

Lana sent some pack warriors in search for Nathan, for she needed him to take over his father's position as beta, since he was as strong as his father.

She intended to make good use of Nathan since his mate was still in her hands, definitely he will obey her every command whether he liked it or not.

Tania was desperate to leave the pack searching for her mate, but she was never allowed to.

Ryan, who was now a pack warrior, told her to go seek permission from the witch if she really wanted to go in search for her mate.

Lana then sought permission from the witch, but witch Lana told her everything she needed to know about Nathan's disappearance.

"I'm sorry to say this Lana, Nathan will never come back to Blood Rose pack for he blames himself for the death of the Alpha and Luna and also his parents. He wants to avoid being found, so it's a waste going searching for him.

Lana was right about Nathan being guilty of his parent's death and also that of his Alpha and Luna, but she has a greater reason for refusing Tania's request.

Tania knees felt weak instantly, she had always had the feeling that Nathan had something to do with the pack being attacked.

"Why…why will Nathan betray his pack?

I thought his friendship with Maya was genuine

did he really pretend to be friends to Maya?,

This can't be, I know I was a bully to her, but I know I would never put my pack in danger or try to kill her."

The day Maya was killed, she had wanted to go save her but was caught by two guards.

She tried to scream, but she was dragged away.

If only she had been there to help, she would have never been tortured to death, not in front of her.

At first, she never liked Maya, but she changed her opinion of her when she saw how caring and compassionate Maya was.

She had fought beside Maya, and she saw how she instantly grew strength and power in fighting off the enemies.

She found out Maya was just a normal girl who wanted to be loved. But she was never loved by anyone except her parents. Tania felt so guilty of those times she bullied Maya.

The day after Maya was taken away from the pack, she managed to get past the guards as she went to search for her in the woods hoping to see her alive, but she found no trace of Maya.

"Could she be dead already?, Tania thought.

With each passing day, it was obvious that Lana was just a power hungry witch.

She made everyone suffer in the pack, but she was still supported by the pack elders.

Lucas was ever locked in the dungeons. The day his sister was killed, he heard her screams as she was being tortured.

"I truly do not deserve to be Alpha the Alpha's son," he thought.

No one cared about him in the dungeons, not even his friend Ryan.

The only person who brought him food was Tania. He could not believe his friend Ryan would desert him, all those friends he had who always cheered for him when he bullied his sister all abandoned him.

What a fool he was, and now he had lost his only family.

The next day, Tania visited Lucas as she always did.

"How are you, Lucas, is the food enough for you, or you need me to bring you more?".

"No it's okay.

I never would have believed you would be the only one to care for me at times like this.

How stupid that I did not treasure my family when I had the chance, now they are no more."

"You are not the only guilty one here, Lucas, everyone in Blood Rose pack is.

I can't believe they all watched Maya get killed by that witch.

Am also very guilty because I was one of them, I treated Maya badly back when we were in school days.

I never liked her because I thought she was weak.

You should have seen how she killed the warriors who attacked her.

I saw with my very own eyes how she dismembered a wolf instantly. This was someone have always thought was weak, Lucas."

"Maya really did that?" Lucas asked Tania, looking very surprised.

"Yes she did, we are all guilty, Lucas.

They both sobbed.

But Tania couldn't bring herself to tell Lucas that it was Nathan who helped the enemies to invade the pack.

How would he feel if she had told him, maybe he would think no one is to be trusted, including her, and he might just refuse her coming to see him.

Tania took it upon herself to look after Lucas for she felt very guilty of Maya's death, so she decided to protect Lucas the best way she can since she was unable to save Maya.

"Sometimes I feel Maya might still be alive.

I really hope she is because no one can save Blood Rose pack from the hands of the witch except Maya

If Lana continued leading Blood Rose there would be no hope for the pack anymore.

Am so sorry sister, it's all my fault I should have loved and protected you when I had the chance.

please forgive me"

Tania and Lucas both cried at what they had done to Maya

I became rogue because I could not go back to my original pack.

I don't have a pack to go back to anymore, am a disgrace and a traitor.

No one will accept me in Blood Rose anymore.

I caused the death of my parents, I deserved to die.

I can't be able to face my mate and worse of it all, Maya.

What could have become of my pack now?

My Dad and the Alpha died trying to protect the pack I destroyed, I can't forgive myself for these sins.

A month ago, when I visited the area, there was no trace of the Alpha and beta, but the place was littered up in Blood.

I wished I could turn back time to when all this started, am sure it would have been different.

I still could have been with my mate and my best friend, defending our pack together.

Furthermore, I became a rogue and fought for survival. There were some others like me too who were either driven out of their pack or ran away voluntarily because of a brutal Alpha.

While I was sleeping somewhere in the woods, I heard growls in my sleep, which woke me up instantly.

"So this is where you are".

I recognized the wolf, who happened to be a warrior from Silver moon pack.

"What do you want" I asked?

"We were given orders to take you back to your pack,

"I'm sorry but am not going back to the pack I betrayed".

"The witch gave us a message to pass to you.

"If you want to see your mate alive, then come back to the pack.

I froze. "The witch will never let me off, now she's using my mate just to get me".

It was bad enough my mom died soon after my Dad's death. I felt it the day she died.

It was all my fault,, and now they are using my mate to get me.

I have no choice but to go back to the pack, I can't lose my mate.

It will be better I was hated by my mate and my best friend.

I'm sure Maya will hate me to death, but I am ready to bear the consequences of my actions.

I just hope they are safe even though the witch might have them locked up.

I quietly followed behind them.

We got to Blood Rose pack at nightfall and I was immediately taken to the witch.

"Look who decided to show up, I knew you would come back. I'm so happy to know you will cooperate with me.

So, long as you pay your allegiance to me, you and your mate will forever be safe.

"Don't forget to keep your promises, but I request for the safety of all pack members including Maya and the Luna.

So, long as you let them be, I will be your follower".

" Of course, Nathan, whatever you say".

Lana smirked, for she knew Nathan was asking for the impossible.

He will soon enough hear of the Luna and Maya's death, but she already had a plan to make him obey her command.
