Chapter Eight

Katelynn's P.O.V

"What can I get the lovely couple today?" The woman says as I blush then look at her name tag and on the name tag says Brenda. Thats a nice name. She looks like she has worked here for a very long time, so long that she could be the manager of the shop.

"Sorry but we-"

"We would like to have two cokes, one smoothie and two cream sodas please, keep the change." Nate says ignoring that she just called us a couple. I dont understand why he didnt just tell her that we not a couple. Soon this woman will tell all her friends and next thing you know everyone will be thinking that we in some sort of relationship. Not that Im angry or anything, I kind of like the thought of being in a relationship with Nate even if I forbid it.

"Why didnt you tell her that we not actually a couple? I look at Nate curious to what he might say next.

"Dont spoil the fun and she clearly seems happy that we together. We do not want to spoil her mood. Do we?" Point taken Nate but it wouldnt hurt to just tell the truth because if we lie, lies will just spread and turn into one big lie at the end of the day.

"Here you go, enjoy your day. Oh and young man take care of that gorgeous girl of yours!" Brenda waves a hand at us as she screams, causing everyone to turn the heads to us in surprise at who she referred me to be. Now everyone is definitely going to think we are a couple, for sure.

When we were done at McDonalds, Matt and got a ride home from Nate to get ready for the long exhausting night at the party. I normally do not need a lot of time like most girl to get ready for a party because I like dressing casual. I wore a tight fitting peach blouse with my black skinny pants as usual because I do not want to attract attention at the party. I hate dressing up for people especially when I do not feel comfortable in my cloths. If you like what I wear good for you but if not thats your problem. Take it or leave it.

"Kate hurry up or Ill leave without you!" Matt screams from across the room which I certainly do not know why because our rooms were just opposite one another.

"Excuse me but where do you think you going?" My father stops us at the front door, looking between Matt and I for an explanation. I knew it was a bad idea to do something on a last minute because my father would not let it go and he would definitely look for a good reason to make us stay. My father, Kent Grayson can be very protective sometimes because he believes that teenagers should spend all their time behind doors or with their loving family and Im cool with that considering that those are the only things I actually like doing besides spending time with my friends of cause.

"Tye invited Kate and I for a movie Night" Matt looks at me as if saying that I should say something too because my father would not believe him.

"Yeah what he said." I point at Matts direction next to me before my father looks between Matt and I contemplating on if we are telling the truth. You know me I am not a good liar so I left all the talking to Matt instead. My father hates it when we lie because he says that if we lie then we are bad people and bad people do bad things and bad things can get us into trouble.

Finally, after convincing my father that it is just a movie night without booze involved and that there would be adult supervision too, we make our way to Jaxsons car already parked right in front of our door waiting for Matt and I. Tye is already sitting in the passenger seat of car and parked her car in Jaxsons garage. Well this better not be a long ride. I do not want to see Tye and my brother flirting with one another for the next few hours, its so disgusting and now I know how she felt when she found out that her brother and I were once upon a time in an ugly relationship.

The Party has already begun so Ill be making an entrance, just what I wanted. The place inside is so elegant and looks extremely expensive. Even the walls and floors looks expensive, the kitchen is built in a way for a chef to cook in it and I bet Nate does have chefs and maid walking around in this huge mansion of his. This place would probably take up to three days to get it cleaned after having a party. I wonder what kind of work Nates parents does. Inside the mansion it is spacious and you could perhaps fit over 200 people in the bottom section of it. Upstairs, there is a few bedrooms, a television room and of cause theres an entertainment area.

Outside in the back yard you could see the massive pool along with a braai spot and some beach chairs you could lay on with mini tables next to it. Theres even a mini bar outside and a television screen.

"Girl you have to taste this raspberry cocktail and dont say no!" Jaxson hands me the glass that hes been holding in his hand and it looks so cute with its little umbrella inside it. How can one be so rich that they even have expensive alcohol at their party?

I gulp the contents in the glass in one swing and it stings the bottom of my throat, leaving a raspberry aftertaste in my mouth. Im not one who likes drinking alcohol but I sure as hell wont mind drinking this all night it tastes so good.

"OMG it tastes a-ma-zing!" I scream towards Jaxson and he laughs then gives me the I told you so expression on his face. I push past the crowd to get me another cocktail drink and drank a couple more of those until I became so intoxicated that I had the courage to dance on the dance floor, grinding against people I do not know the names of. I wonder where Nate is? I havent seen him all night. Maybe I have some courage left in mw to approach him and kiss him on the lips.

"Is it me or is it really hot in here." I speak to whoever can hear me on the dance floor as I unbutton my peach blouse in order to take it off. Then in the crowd a boy notices me unbuttoning my blouse and looks at me with a sly grin on his face.

"Its getting hot in here!" he sings in my directions cheering me on to take my blouse off and I give him a flirtatious smile. Oh lady Kate is definitely having a fun time tonight.

"So take off all your clothes!" Another guy in the crowd sings as he nudges someone next to him to looks in my direction anticipating if I am really going to take my blouse off. By those boys singing and cheering me on I should show them how fun lady Kate can be and bring out the wild side in me.

"I am getting so hot yeah, I am going to take my clothes off!" I sing loudly enough for everyone to hear and all heads turn in my direction silently staring at me waiting for me to take my clothes off which causes me to burst into laughter. I never knew I could control a crowd like this and I am surly liking it.

Before I could take my clothes off someone grabs my arm from behind, pulling me away from the silent crowd. When I turn around I see Matt looking at me with a scold on his face. Boy Im going to be in so much trouble.

"Are you crazy!" Matt furiously screams at me as he stands opposite me and I could see the steam coming out of his ears, bursting again into fits of laughter. Matt looks at me confused.

"Crazy ass drunk yeah brother!" I shout at him as I wiggle my butt, thinking that this is funny. Note to self I cannot be serious when I am drunk. Matt drags me to the sofa where I notice Nate is sitting and I smile in my surprise because Matt just brought me to better fun than taking off my blouse.

Matt places me next to Nate on the sofa and I look towards Nate moving my face way too close to his then he pushes me away. What the hell?

"You wasted, you need sleep." Nate pulls me up and carries me bridal style as he walks towards the stairs. Everyone looks towards us as if saying yes take her to bed Ha, ha like that would ever happen.
