Chapter 2
Amami was bored as always, she's just walking around and even play a bit with the children staying at the hospital. There are times she would help around with children who are scared of needles, not taking their medicine or not eating their food.
The nurses and doctor were relief that Amami came to help since sometimes they can't get the children to do any of those that easily like Amami. She was given a name called 'Guardian Angel' because she has pure white wings like an angel which they happen to see sometimes in a small form. Amami doesn't always have her wings on her back all the time, she let her wings free and help other people from outside.
After playing with the children, she decided to come back to her room. But then something catches her eyes, the family name that is written in the room.
-Todoroki? As in the Todoroki? Isn't that Endeavour's last name?- Amami thought.
She saw the door was slightly open, she poke her head inside and eyes wandered then see a woman sitting on a chair. She was sitting with her back facing her which she sighs in relief that she didn't get noticed, she was about to leave when she heard a voice.
"Who's there?" Amami gulps on her saliva. She then opens the door and shows herself, laughing awkwardly.
"So-Sorry...I was walking around and saw the name at your door..." Amami paused at the end as she looks at the ground.
"It's okay, why don't you come in?"
"I-Is it okay?"
"Yes," the woman responded. Amami walks inside and sits on the vacant chair, it was very awkward and regret what she did which made her stuck in this situation.
"So, you must be a fan of my husband"
"Ye-Yes! I'm a huge fan, I actually would like to see him in person one day and get his autograph" Amami face lights up as he talks about being a fan of the woman's husband, Endeavour. She then realized what she just said and apologized for talking too much.
"It's okay..." the woman smiles. Amami stares at the woman and saw her facial expression changed when she mentioned Endeavour, it made Amami realized that maybe it was bad for her to mention her husband.
"Um...sorry, I guess you're not doing fine with your husband..." Amami apologized, the woman looks at Amami with a surprised look on her face.
"How do you know?"
"Just looking at your reaction...um, I'm sorry! I shouldn't get my nose into someone's family problem, I didn't mean-"
"It's okay, don't apologize. It's true, my relationship with my husband isn't doing great right now. There are things that happened in the past that brought me here in the hospital to get treatment, it also caused a problem to my own children. Because of my husband's selfish behaviour, our family was all over the place..."
Amami felt guilty that she has to hear what the woman been through because of the hero she idolises. But she can't just hate on someone, she thought that Endeavour might've some reasons to why he acted that way.
The conversation is making Amami suffocating, she decided to change the topic by introduction herself.
"Anyway, I haven't told you my name. I'm Tenkubashi Amami"
"I'm Todoroki Rei. It's nice to meet you, Amami. Wait...are you a family member of Dr Tenkubashi's?"
"Yes, I'm his niece"
"What happened?" Rei asked. This kind of topic is the thing that Amami wasn't ready to talk about to anyone yet and so, she decided to lie.
"I just got into an accident"
"Oh, I hope you get better"
"Thank you and I hope you get well and get along with your husband. I don't know what happened between you two and it might be hard to forgive him...but I want to let you know that you must treasure your family before it's too late"
*knock* *knock* *knock*
They got interrupted when someone knocked on the door, the door slides open to show a young man resembling half of him like Rei and the other like Endeavour. The young man was surprised to see his mother have a visitor with her.
"I'm sorry, I'll wait outside" the young man apologized but then Amami stops him.
"No, it's okay. Just come in, we're done talking anyway" Amami said, she then looks at Rei. Then a few of her wings came flying into the window and attached itself to her back, she then plucks one of her feathers and gives it to Rei.
"Rei-san, here. Take this, it's to protect you" Amami smiles, Rei smiles back.
"So you're the rumoured Guardian Angel that was everyone is talking about"
"Well, everyone seems to be calling me that since I was a child. But I don't think I'm an angel though..." Amami scratches her temple.
"Well, you're nice and listened to my story. It actually made me happy that I got to talk about it with someone, I felt a bit of weight on my chest was lifted. Thank you"
"You're welcome, I'm glad I could help. I could stop by anytime if you want"
"Is it okay for you?"
"Yes, I'm actually getting bored staying in here. It would be wonderful to talk to someone"
"Thank you, I'll see you again then"
Amami waves goodbye to Rei and Rei did the same, the young man watches to see his mother smiled like that for the first time. He made eye contact with Amami and she smiles in response then walks herself out of the room.
"Who was that? Someone you know?" the young man asked.
"I just met her for the first time just now, she was a very nice girl" she responds to her son.
-Just now...I met an angel- Shoto thought.

=Hawk's P.O.V=
Right now, I had free time and was able to do what I wanted to do. I decided to visit Endeavour's agency, cause why not?
"Hello, number one hero" I greeted him, as always he gives me uninterested look on his face.
"What are you doing here?" he asked.
"Come on, aren't you happy that I'm visiting you to see if you're doing okay? I'm actually sad that you're not so happy to see me"
"Of course I won't, I'm too busy to play around with you. I have a lot of work to be done than mess around"
"Damn, you're so cold. Why can't you cool your head for a moment and take a rest"
"Hawks, if you are here to just waste your time because you're bored I suggest you leave my agency and just disturb me"
I can't seem to make him get along with me, maybe it's because of that time when he was announced as the number one hero and said some stuff that pissed him off. I then brought the topic of what happened ten years ago.
"Endeavour, do you still remember the hero family from ten years ago?"
He suddenly stopped what he was doing and breath out as he just avoided what I just said.
"Why are you suddenly bringing that up? It has nothing to do to what we're talking right now" I raised a brow as I finally got his attention. I sit down on the vacant couch and make myself comfortable.
"Yesterday, I met up with the youngest daughter that survived. It seems she's still being treated and coping her family's death, her uncle who was working at the hospital where your wife is and was looking after her. I read and found out that the previous hospital she's in was treating her badly and was experimenting with her quirk, I think we better keep an eye on her"
"Keep an eye on her? I don't have time to babysit some kid right now"
"Don't worry, she's not a kid anymore. She's twenty years old"
"*sigh* Why are you telling me this?"
"Nothing" I respond with a smile, he rolls his eyes as he focuses back to the papers he's been working on.
"Endeavour, your son and his friends are here!" Burning shouted behind the door and then the door opens to show his son and his friends.

=Third Person P.O.V=
The three were surprised to see Hawks, he greeted the three while waving at them but one of them clicks their tongue and avoid eye contact.
"Sorry we're late, I went and stopped by to see mom," Shoto said.
"Tch, I can't believe you made us wait!" Bakugou shouted.
"Oh...how is she?" Endeavour asked.
"She seems happy talking to someone" Shoto replies.
"Who?" Endeavour asked, curious to who is that person making his wife happy.
"An angel" Shoto answered with a straight face, it went quiet for a moment and then Hawks butts into the conversation.
"Ah...you must be talking about Amami-chan"
"Amami-chan?" Shoto repeated.
"The woman with pure white wings like an angel, the one you saw"
"Yes, that's her. My mom said she was the hospital's, Guardian Angel"
"Guardian Angel...what a nice name" Hawks smiles. "Anyway, I gotta go. Have fun boys" Hawks then take his leave.
