Chapter 13

Hawks was finished with his work and just finished drinking with some colleagues, he was walking home with some of them.

"Hawks, do you have a girlfriend?"

"Yeah, some rumour has been spreading that you have one"

"Who is the lucky lady? Mind telling us?"

"The rumour said that she lives with you, is that true?"

Hawks have been thrown questions by his colleagues.

"I wouldn't say girlfriend...well, to be honest, it's complicated" Hawks respond.

"What?! Hawks-san likes someone?!" his colleagues exclaimed, can't believe the number two hero liked someone since they knew he wasn't the type who is interested in being in a relationship right now.

"Anyway, let's continue drinking in your place!" one of his colleagues said.

Hawks look up and saw the lights in his apartment were on, his eyes widen and there's only one person in his thoughts right now.

"I'm sorry, I'll be heading home quick now. I'll see you next week" he spread his wings and flew to his apartment balcony.

As soon as he got to his balcony, he carefully opens the glass door and went inside. He quietly walks himself inside and saw the lights in his room was also on, he walks quietly his way there.

He still took cautious of his surrounding and then walks inside his room to see Amami sleeping peacefully with his hero costume on, only his black tight shirt. She was sleeping on her side, had her wings spread out on a side while she's curled into a ball.

His face was flushed red after seeing what Amami was wearing, he can't believe what he's seeing right now and it's turning him on.

"Damn it, Amami. How could you leave yourself so defenceless like this? What if someone breaks in here and make a move on you?" he talks to himself, then his hand was reaching out to her but stops mid-way.

"Keigo..." Amami called his name in her sleep, his eyes widen and then bit his lips.

He told himself, he can't. He kept reminding himself that he has to get rid of his feelings for Amami and if he continues they'll both get hurt.

He lies down right beside her as he watches her sleeping face, his face shows sadness as he stares at Amami. He closes his eyes and let out a sigh.

Amami felt a familiar presence right beside her, she opens her eyes and saw Hawks sighs.

"Hawks-san?"

Hawks eyes shot open and saw Amami was awake, he quickly sits up and greeted her.

"Hello, Amami. How come you're here? I thought you're in another hospital..." Hawks said, but Amami was confused to what he's talking about.

"Another hos-?" Amami stops and knew that her uncle kept it a secret from Hawks. "Oh, well they actually want to check if everything is okay with me and they let me out since I'm all good" Amami made up a lie.

"I see, but have you told your uncle?" Hawks asked.

"Not yet, probably soon. He's quite busy at work these days so I don't want to disturb him" Amami respond.

"Anyways..." Hawks started again, he stared at what she was wearing and decided to mention it to Amami. "Why are you wearing my hero costume?"

Amami realised that she didn't take off his clothes and accidentally doze off to sleep, plus sleeping in his bed as well.

"U-Uh, I got curious about what kind of clothes you would wear in daily life if you don't have work. Not gonna lie, you have a pretty good fashion sense and then I saw your hero costume then had a thought...why not try it out" Amami explained.

-Damn it, Amami. Keep it cool and don't be suspicious- Amami thought.

"Thanks, but wearing my clothes without permission is not very good, you know" Hawks leans closer to her.

-What the hell, he's getting closer to me?!-

Amami is panicking inside but she has to keep her cool and have to act like how they met in the first place in the hospital.

-He's flirting with me again!- she thought.

Of course, Amami would not be get beaten by Hawks and decided to flirt back to the red-winged bird.

"What's wrong with that? I bet you're liking what you're seeing right now" her lips curled up in a smirk. Hawks eyes twitch as he stares at Amami, he gulps his saliva.

"Amami-chan, do you know what you're doing right now? If something happens-"

"So what? Try me" Amami cuts him off, Hawks clicks his tongue and his hands both forms into a fist, trying to control himself. But his drunk self couldn't take it anymore, the feelings that he's been building up feels like overflowing inside of him.

"You brought this to yourself, don't you blame me if you hated it," Hawks said as clicks his tongue after.

"Don't worry, I wouldn't hate it as long it's you. Because..."

=Hawks P.O.V=

My eye shots open and I sit up immediately, I was catching for my breath and look at the curtains. I saw the lights in the gap in the middle of it, it seems it's already morning since I also heard birds chirping outside. My hands slide to the side to felt someone's warmth, my eyes widen and felt sweat on my temple.

-Don't tell me...I brought a woman home with me.-

I slowly turn my head to look at the person right beside me, as soon I look at the person my eyes widen. The familiar white wings from someone I know...Amami. She was sleeping right beside me, I noticed something...she wasn't wearing any top.

-Wait...don't tell me, we did it?! No, impossible-

["Don't worry, I wouldn't hate it as long it's you. Because..."]

After that hazy memory, I don't remember anything at all.

-Oh god...-

I place both of my hands on my face, feeling guilty of my drunk self lose control and made a move on her. This is bad...I mess it up.

"What the hell did I do?"

"Hawks-san?"

My eyes widen and look at Amami who looked at me with her cute, still sleepy face.

-She's so damn cute!-

"Oh, Amami-chan. Good morning" I greeted.

"Good morning, Hawks-san" she greeted with a smile. I stare at her and she looked at me in confusion. "Hawks-san?"

"Amami-chan, about what happened last night-" I was cut off from my sentence when she cupped my cheeks with both of her hands and make me look at her directly in the eyes.

"I know, it's okay. Please don't blame yourself" she smiles softly and leans in close as our foreheads touched, she then giggles. "Hawks-san, your heart rate is sure going up pretty high"

I could feel me face heating up from embarrassment, I forgot that her feathers are like similar to mine but her feathers aren't that much sensitive like mine.

"Wow, it sure is beating hard for you" I laugh awkwardly, she laughs once again.

"It's the first time seeing you this flustered"

"Well, I can't help that I like you" the words kinda slipped out of my mouth. "About that..." I look to the side, avoiding eye contact.

"I feel the same, Hawks-san..." she smiles softly, I look at her directly in the eyes.

"Are you sure you're okay with me?" I asked.

"Why'd you ask that?" she responds.

"If you're with me you'll be in danger, I don't want you to be hurt-"

I felt her warm hands grab on my face again, making me look at her once again. She gave me a soft smile, leans closer and kisses my lips; moments later backs away and look at me again as our foreheads touched once more.

"Hawks-san, are you forgetting that I used to work for the commission? I can protect myself, stop worrying about that"

"I know that, but I just get an uneasy feeling. What if someone tried to kill you and also I know the commission is still onto you, I can't let anyone hurt you"

=Amami's P.O.V=

My uncle would be freaking out that I escape the place and would be probably looking for me right now. He didn't get my number so he won't be able to contact me. Hawks went to the commission and been continuing his work like he always does.

Since I get to know more of my second quirk and realized what my other me wanted, she wanted to take over my body and do whatever she wants. But I felt uneasy and can't trust her taking over my body, she's someone that I can't or anyone to trust.

I could feel she's taking over my body little by little and I need to think of an idea of how I would defeat her. I also needed to do some things that I needed to do, I have to carry on my families name till the day I die. I promised my parents that I would be a great hero that everyone would idolize and respects. But doing that might be pretty hard...

I flew myself to the family mansion of my family, I stand still as I stare at it. Nothing has changed since I left at all, it still looked the same. I took out the key and open the door, as soon as I walked inside, it was dead silent.

I walk forward, on my way to the stairs when I saw a huge portrait of me and my family. We were all smiling like a happy family, but everything changed since then. I walk up a few steps from the stairs and walk my way to the huge portrait, I reach my hand out and touch the glass frame that's protecting it.

{"It's your fault"}

There it goes again, I could hear my other self talking to me but to my conscious self.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

{"Don't you remember, you killed your family"}

"No...no, I could never do that"

{"Yes, you did. You killed them with your two hands, don't you remember? Your sisters healed you and you survived"}

I then had flashbacks when my two sisters were healing me back to life, using their remaining life on me.

"No...it can't be"

{"Oh yes it is, you're the reason why your family died. You lose control of your quirk on the commission and went on a rampage, killing a lot of people in the process before your family"}

I put both of my hands on my head, I started to hyperventilate. Then a sudden clear flashback happened, it was when I was losing control of the demon quirk and hurting anyone in my surroundings. I could see how I killed my own family before I fainted and later woke up to see my sisters healing me.

My tears began to flood out of my eyes, I can't believe what have I done to my own family. I've become a monster, there is no way I could go back to how I supposed to be.

«Time skip»

It was getting a bit dark, I decided to go back to see the doctor. I have to be careful and not get caught by Hawks.

"Oh, you're back," Dabi said.

"Where's Doc?" I asked.

"He's at the back right now, dealing with Shigiraki" Twice answered.

"Thanks" I reply, I was heading my way to the back when I felt a hand stopped me. I turn my head to see Dabi, stopping me.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"Are you Amami, right?" he responded.

"Yes, it's me" I answered, he then let go of me. I look at him in confusion and then head my way to the back.

I got to the back and saw the doctor talking with Shigiraki, I lean to the door frame and wait till one of them noticed me and Shigiriraki was the first one.

"Hello, Shigiraki-san. How's your injury? I hope she didn't break your bones"

"Amami, right?" the doctor asked.

"Yes, it's me. I need to talk to you privately"

"So, what do you want to talk about?" the doctor asked.

"It's about her, I know she wanted to take over my body and I might be needing your help"

"Wait, are you sure it's okay to talk about this? Wouldn't she know?"

"No, she's in a heavy sleep right now. It seems she's not strong enough to take over my body at the moment since she needs a lot of energy to do so, I'm using my chance now to plan something before one day she was able to control all of my body on her own" I explained.

"Tell me about your plan..."

I then talked about my plan to him and explained why he needed to do if I happen to lose to her.

=Third Person P.O.V=

Amami was done talking with the doctor and head out of the back with him, everyone was staring at her and her eyes caught Dabi ones again. She felt something familiar about Dabi.

"Why don't you stay here for the night?" the doctor suggested.

"I could, but It seems someone doesn't like me to stay here" she glances at Shigiraki who has been glaring at her the whole time.

"Shigiraki, why don't you just forgive her? It's not her that hurt you anyway, it's the other her" Twice said.

"I know, but I can't trust her as well," Shigiraki said, clicking his tongue.

Amami made eye contact with Shigiraki, both of them stare at each other as if they were competing who will blink first. Amami then grabs one of her feathers and it expanded like a metal sword, in seconds she slashes on one of her arms.

She starts to bleed and everyone was horrified to what they just witnessed, but soon the cut started to disappear and her arm was healed to its original form.

"Self-healing..." the doctor mutters and then started to write down on a piece of paper.

"There, do you trust me now?" Amami asked.

"I'm in love with her~," Toga said out loud as heart could be seen in her eyes.

"Are you out of your mind? You could've died" Dabi said.

"I may be, but did I die?" Amami responds.

"Tch, I guess you could stay here for tonight," Shigiraki said.

It was already late, everyone was sleeping, except for Amami. She was hanging out at the rooftop of the building and just stares at the beautiful night sky. Dabi woke up and noticed that Amami was nowhere to be found to where she was sleeping, he gets up from where he was lying down and finds for Amami.

The last thing he thought was the rooftop, he walks his way to the rooftop and opens the door carefully. And there he saw her, looking at the night sky by herself. She has a blanket over her head, covering herself from the cold late night air.

"Can't sleep?" he asked as he began to walk her way, but soon stopped as she turns to look at him. He suddenly had a flashback of seeing the same angel when he was young, it was truly a beautiful sight that he's seeing right in front of him.

"Oh, Dabi-san. Did I wake you up?" she asked.

"No, I just woke up and found you not there" Dabi respond, he then continues walking up to her and stands next to her. They both began to look at the night sky together.

"Dabi-san, I have a question" Amami started.

"What is it?"

"Are you by any chance someone I know?" Amami asked.

"What made you think that?" Dabi respond.

"Well, you remind me very well of someone I know back then...when I used to work for the commission, I don't see him much. Well, we sometimes go to practice together" Amami explained.

"Oh, like when you can't take your eyes off Hawks whenever we three are together" Dabi comment, who's still looking at the night sky. Amami turns her head to look at him, her face suddenly turns as red as a tomato.

"So it really is you..."
