Azrae opened his eyes and saw a vast expanse of darkness. The only lumination was a shimmering star that lit up his ethereal palm. He had succeeded in forging his very own Star of Creation. He had reached the pinnacle of cultivation five million years ago and nothing had challenge or sparked excitement anymore. Immortality became dull when he had experienced everything his world had to offer.

He seized the Tree of Life from the Immortal Sedia, who ruled over nature, and combined it with the Flame of Infinity and the Gate of Souls to forge a Star of Creation. He poured his nearly infinite spiritual qi, his dreams, his secret desires, and immense knowledge into the shimmering light. It expanded rapidly taking up a sizeable chunk of the dark expanse with color and light. At first the flow of his Spiritual Qi was controlled in a slow stream as it created the treasures, the spirit veins, the secret dimensions, and the beautiful virgin landscape. Everything went exactly as he imagined until he got to the lifeforms of the planet.

Suddenly he started to lose control as his Qi gushed out of him like a raging river. He tried to forcibly end the connection, but the star kept draining him as his cultivation base quickly started to drop. He went all the way from Immortal God to Foundation Establishment until he lost consciousness altogether.

A man with silky long silver hair and a perfectly symmetrical face lay on the mossy ground of a lush and lively forest. He opened his eyes and looked around in confusion. 'Where am I?' He tried to rise and felt a weakness in his body that he hadn't felt in millions of years. 'Am I mortal?' He tried to circulate his Spiritual Qi and he felt a tiny sliver rotate sluggishly through his Dantian. He wasn't mortal, but he wasn't far from it either.

'The early stage of Qi Gathering...what a sorry state I'm in. One moment you're creating a world thinking of 99,999 fairy concubines you created in your new world, and the next you're laying in an unknown place with barely an ounce of Spiritual Qi left in your body.'

Azrae brushed off his white robes and went west where the sun was slowly setting. 'I have to get somewhere safe before the sun sets as I'm now only one step away from being a puny mortal and demonic beasts are more active at night.' He came to the end of the forest much sooner than he expected and in the far distance he saw a white palace floating in the sky connected with a cloud pathway.

He thought to himself, 'Is that my palace with 99,999 concubines that I created for my enjoyment in my new world?'

He chuckled in delight and quickened his pace, looking forward to a blissful end to an unexpected day as he basked in the worship of his concubines. It took longer for him to reach the bridge than he expected due to his pathetic body and lack of Qi. When he reached the gate he moved to open it and a bright light flashed so he averted his stinging eyes quickly. When he looked back a beautiful maiden with aquamarine hair and a fierce expression. He mumbled to himself in appreciation.

'It seems the first concubine I created to guard my palace lives up to my imagination. Her fierceness is as tantalizing as I had hoped. I can't wait for her to serve me.'

The fairy opened parted her luscious lips and said the last words he was expecting.

"Who do you think you are approaching the temple of his Lordship of Creation?"

He froze stunned and then said incredulously,

"Don't you recognize your creator, Azrae, when you see him?"

Contrary to his expectations, her stance grew even more fierce and she grabbed him by his robes and lifted him from the ground. He had created each of his concubines to start at Nascent Soul stage and they were much stronger than him. In addition, He had created his first concubine Ophelia with a Heavenly Demon Physique so she would be strong enough to guard his palace.

"How dare you say the name of his Lordship?!", she said with a growl.

Before he could respond, she tossed him with her formidable strength back into the forest where he came from. As he flew through the sky he activated a secret technique called the light feather technique which slowed his descent but quickly ate up his remaining sliver of Qi. He fell on a soft carpet of moss and nearly blacked out in pain. Even with the secret technique he sustained internal injuries from the fall as his pathetic cultivation base was not enough to prevent damage. He thanked his good fortune that he landed somewhere soft as had he hit stone he would have broken every bone in his body and died.

He needed to break through the first stage of Qi Gathering so he could use the Sedia Healing technique and suppress his internal injuries. He closed his eyes and recalled the first stage of the Divine Asura Scripture. Qi started to whorl in from his surroundings and the sliver of Qi quickly expanded into a finger-sized thread that rotated faster and faster. He felt a burst of energy as he broke through the first stage of Qi Gathering and his cultivation started to slow. He opened his eyes that glowed with a universe of stars as he stopped cultivating.

'The Divine Asura Scripture truly deserves its place as the pinnacle of cultivation techniques. Thankfully I still have all of my knowledge so I can quickly break through into Foundation Establishment and start gathering the secret treasures that I placed throughout the world.'
