Chapter 7

As the teachers finish making certain announcements the Hwarangs eat their dinner and head back into the room while the king and Hwang Yoon Yeong wait there.

"Are you not going to go to the room?" asks the king.

"I have some things to discuss with my uncle. Do you have any problems?" replies Hwang Yoon Yeong.

"Oh! No problem at all, go ahead I will head back then. See you." the king says this and leaves.

As soon as the king leaves Hwang Yoon Yeong walks towards the teachers room to find Oh Soon Hwae.

"May I come in?" asks Hwang Yoon Yeong.

"Yes, come in." replies Oh Soon Hwae.

"How have you been My Lord?" asks Yoon Yeong.

"I have been good. What about you my daughter Oh Soo Jin?" replies Oh Soon Hwae.

"Ah! Father! I told you to be careful. You should not call me by my real name or daughter here. What if someone hears? Don't you know I am a man here. If I get caught we will be in great trouble father." says Hwang Yoon Yeong.

"Ay! Nobody will listen to us here and is this how you are going to treat your father after meeting him after a long time. Aigo! I missed you so much and this is how you treat your father, huh?" says Oh Soon Hwae disappointedly but in a teasing manner.

"Ayo! My father, are you still acting as a child and being upset. I also missed you so much. I am sorry, please forgive me already. I am your only daughter." Says Hwang Yoon Yeong while pulling Oh Soon Hwae into a hug.

"Really? Good thing, we will be staying together from now on. By the way, tell me did you recognize His Highness yet? Did you meet him?" asks Oh Soon Hwae.

"Not yet. There are so many boys here, I think it will take some time for me to recognize His Highness." replies Hwang Yoon Yeong.

"You didn't recognize His Highness yet? How are you going to protect His Highness then? You know right, why you are here and what all you need to do. You should have recognized His Highness, I even made you both roommates. Should I just tell you, it will be easy that way." says Oh Soon Hwae.

"NO! Father I already told you I will recognize him and protect him secretly without anyone knowing. You trust me right? I will not let your trust down. I will do what I was assigned for so don't worry father, okay?" responds Hwang Yoon Yeong.

"Of course I trust you. I will leave it all to you then. Now you should head back to your room and get some rest. I will see you tomorrow." says Oh Soon Hwae.

"Yes, father. You should sleep too. Good Night." says Hwang Yoon Yeong and leaves the room while heading to her room.

While in the room everyone is asleep except the king who just lies on his bed deep in his thoughts,

"Where have I seen this guy Hwang Yoon Yeong before. I am sure I saw him before. I just can't remember it."

Hwang Yoon Yeong enters the room and the king pretends to be asleep. Then Hwang Yoon Yeong starts talking to herself,

"What a mess did they make of this room. They don't even know how to behave, all they do is eating and sleeping. Are they even capable of guarding His Highness, I doubt that. Makes sense why the general wants to train this incompetent fools. I should just do what I am here for instead of getting involved with these fools."

The king hears this and smirks while thinking," So he has something to do here. What would it be? It will be fun to find out." and then the king falls asleep.
