Fake Hero [2]

"10,839 deaths, one more time and I can leave this hell."

I whistled while smirking at the figure in front of me. The figure was covered in black obscurity, preventing me from making out their appearance. The only parts visible were their black wings and the pair of horns on their forehead.

Far behind me was a gigantic tree, if I had to guess it was bigger than our solar system. The trunk of the tree was made from black bones and so were its branches. In place of leaves were black flames wailing in anguish, and five rivers formed circular rings around the tree.

This was a Hell.

"Huh, where am I?!"

Suddenly, the haze covering my mind disappeared.

Wasn't I going to talk to the being inside my soul? I remember standing in front of the lightless veil inside my soul, but why am I here suddenly?

Remembering him, anger boiled inside me.
