Awakening

As the first light of dawn spilled and embraced the forest, there stood a tiny hut at its edge.

Within the confines of the hut, a slumbering figure lay. A boy with dusky skin and silver hair, known as Jun, appeared to be having a restless sleep, devoid of tranquility.

John was sweaty, with red veins on his hands and forehead, groaning in pain.

In the same hut, Arthur was standing, looking at John and waiting quietly.

Out of nowhere, a sudden hush enveloped the hut. John went quiet, his skin slowly recovering its life. He slipped back into a peaceful slumber.

"Finally.." Arthur exhaled with relief as he glanced at the peacefully sleeping John. The awakening had been a success. Quietly, Arthur left the hut, leaving the young man to his rest.

**John's POV**

"Damn, what the hell does that smell like?"

I woke up, rubbing my eyes, only to find an unpleasant substance smeared on me. The pungent odor filled the air, making me cringe in disgust.

I heard footsteps approaching, and as I turned towards the door, I saw Arthur entering the room.

"Glad you're finally awake," Arthur remarked with a displeased expression, holding his nose as if the smell was unbearable. His tone carried a hint of annoyance as he glanced at me.

"What the hell is going on?" I exclaimed to Arthur, gesturing to the unpleasant black substance covering me.

"Go wash up you're unbearable." Arthur responded, keeping his hand on his nose. Damn it, why is he treating me like I'm trash?

I finished washing my body, but damn, this is amazing. It's true that I've awakened my power, but are the changes in my body now because of this? This is crazy.

My height is now 6.1 ft. All this at the age of 16. Wow, this is crazy. I expect that when I return to my world, such a height at this age will be considered a breakthrough.

"Why did these substances leave my body after the awakening?" I asked Arthur, looking at him, awaiting the answer I sought.

"These unpleasant substances are impurities that built up inside your body. The awakening process assisted in expelling them, and if you pay attention, you'll notice an increase in your strength," Arthur explained.
