A realm located out of the earthly world.
Amidst the realm which looked devoid of the earthly life stood a palace-like building seemingly floating in space due to the invisibility of any form of land.
The exterior of the building, a set of pillars held down into the space, was filled with pure gold inscriptions and symbols, making it look like a traditional Chinese palace.
In the walk-in interior part, the pure gold decors were mounted on each and every part. But the floor of the interior had a particular covering of red, maybe a fluffy carpet placed on the invisible floor, that couldn't be said.
A part of the interior had a type of energy barricade which prevented those from outside from being able to see into the building. That particular part had gold seats surrounding a huge round wooden table, with entities occupying each of the seats.
They were all celestial bodies, each clothed in white robes with gold plates around the neck of the robe and they were numbered over twenty. Their faces had a light glow and their looks were something the earthly world would never be able to replicate due to the undescribable beauty they harbored on their faces which seemed never to grow old and was devoid of any wrinkles or spots.
"My lord, what do you think we should do now?" A being seated on the first seat of the right row spoke, its voice emitting a mixture of beauty and calmness.
A single chair was situated in the fore part of the table, with a being far different from the others occupying the seat. Like the others, it also wore a robe and had the same gold plate around the neck but had a cloak on behind the robe. It's appearance was definitely more beautiful than that of the others as it had a higher position.
This was an elder among the subordinating elders of the overall lord of the heavenlies, the supreme being.
"Apollo," it called out to the being who had questioned it. The particular being was its direct assistant among its own subordinates of twenty or so in its jurisdiction. "I have no idea at the moment. We possibly can not act without informing the supreme being."
"Yes, we know that my lord," the being named Apollo replied.
"Although we do not what Dalki is planning at the moment due to the vision blockage the supreme being put in place, I am sure that attack made on the woman of the host was not instigated by Dalki or any of those from the jurisdiction of Dalki," the elder reasoned.
There was silence among the whole entities for a brief moment before one of the other beings seated at the rear end of the left row spoke up, "What do we do then, my lord?"
There was no reply from the elder. Instead, it vanished into thin air. Where it was going, the subordinates all knew. The issue at hand needed the approval of the highest order.
.....
"Welcome... to the presence of the supreme being,"
A being clothed in white stood in front of a closed gate which began opening slowly as he made the above statement. Unlike the other beings, its robe didn't have a gold plate around the neck and this signified its lower rank among the heavenlies.
The celestial elder went through the opened gates, entering into the realm of nowhere. The gates closed immediately after the elder had made its way into the realm.
The whole scenario of the realm it was now in was filled with clouds and the natural elements of the world hovering around. This particular part of the realm was one which wasn't allowed as an entry for just any entity asides the elders of the heavenlies.
A bright eye-blocking light, shining brighter than the sun, suddenly appeared in the middle of the clouds. The light was a never-ending light which harbored the ruler of the celestial realm.
"Greetings my lord," the elder went on its knees as a sign of worship to the light which wasn't showing any shape of a being or entity in it.
From the light, a loud authoritative voice came out sharply. "Lucian, speak!"
The elder stood up to its feet, its head slightly bowed as it dared not look into the presence of the overall lord. "My lord, I came here regarding the one meant to be my host..."
"What about him?"
"My lord, is it not time to send him a guide? There has been deliberate contemplations about his issue under my jurisdiction,"
The supreme being did not seem pleased as it replied with a sharper voice. "You wish to question my authority over this matter?"
"No, my lord," the elder shook its head as it bowed its head more. "But lately, I have—"
"SILENCE!"
The whole realm shook in terror at the authoritative sound of the supreme being emitting from the light. The anger of the supreme being was one that was feared among the entities of the heavenlies as it was worthy of incapacitating any of them.
"Do you think I know not what I am doing? Or have you decided to revolt against me as well?"
"I will never do that my lord,"
"Good. Now listen to the instructions I have for you..."
The elder instantly raised up its head a little, still not looking into the presence of the overall lord but making its hearing firm as it awaited instructions from the supreme being.
"I am the all-knowing, the all-seeing... I know and I have seen that the host has been made a target for victimization and we cannot afford to lose him at any cost.
To keep him safe, send your direct subordinate to him as a standby guard. Your subordinate will act as a direct invincible shield to prevent any mortal attack but must not be revealed to the host.
When the time comes, your subordinate will be made his guide. And before that time, make sure to keep the host safe. Do you have anything else to say?"
"No, my lord. Your instructions, I will follow."
"Peace be unto you,"
Immediately, the bright light demitted from the realm, leaving the elder standing with its head still bowed. The elder then turned around, going through the gates as it went out of the realm of nowhere.
.....
Ryan got down from his car. The darkness of night time occupied everywhere but the lights coming out the lamps and bulbs from different houses made everywhere still bright a bit.
He walked up to the building which his car was packed in front of. The street he was in had different routes and was considered one of the biggest vicinities in the city of San Angels. Dambell, the name of the combination of streets, had a total route amounting up to twenty-five and this particular part was where Ryan's girlfriend resides.
The door to the apartment was given two loud knocks before it was creaked open. A lady was revealed by the door, dressed in a tank top and a knee-length shorts.
"Hey," he maintained a calm expression as he spoke.
"Come in," the lady told him, walking into the apartment in the process with the door still left open.
He trailed behind as he closed the door while walking into the apartment. This was a place he had been to before, probably three or four times already. The exteriors still looked the same sweet thing with just a few lady changes here and there.
He went to sit on the big size couch, just near the lady. He turned to face her, examining her face with a single plaster placed firm on the brows. Beneath the aloof expression she was portraying at the moment, there was fear. It wasn't too obvious but he could sense it.
The lady was paranoid, obviously, and it was something he needed to look into. Was she being tailed? Was someone after her life, resulting to the two coincidental accidents? She hadn't offended anyone, had she? The whole concept seemed elusive, probably terrifying.
Every human ounces a bit of phobia for something but results into a wall of paranoia when a life threatening scene happens more than once in line with that particular thing. It might be coincidental to a normal person but to a person who had her senses keen on everything, it was not. And this was the problem going on with his girlfriend at the moment, that he knows.
He reached out to touch the hand of the lady which was on her lap, caressing it with care. "Talk to me, Lily. I'm here now," His voice came out soft as he spoke to the lady who had her gaze some place else.
Using "it" for the celestial bodies to extinct them from the humans.
