THE OL'DAYS

I REMEMBER THAT DAY WELL... we all went up to the hunting cabin it was going to be our last night in Kentucky so Dad talked mom into staying there to celebrate my ninth birthday Mom agreed she said we have to leave first thing in the morning because of my new job.Dad was so happy it was our family favorite spot to be in the world. we haven't been up there since dad died at night in a car crash he was out getting my birthday cake. I can still hear him my old man calling our names John,Chris my brother always try to hide and and wait for my father to come look for him then he would jump out and try to scare him he would just laugh and look at me.
