THE EMPRESS HAS BEEN KIDNAPPED

"Look at the rain!"

"This is truly a gift from God."

People ran out of the house. A happy voice sounded. Happiness is evident on their faces.

"Let's go back to the inn!"

The duke then saw the dark clouds and heavy rain. He immediately got worried and ran outside. There is only one restaurant close to the inn.

"Did you see a thin man in brown clothes and a red hat?" The Duke asked the servant.

"It seems that I saw the man who had the characteristics you mentioned earlier. He then left with two men."

"When did they leave?"

"About fifteen minutes ago."

"Yes Duke" the coachman immediately left for the palace by riding one of the other horses. The bodyguard asked the Duke after the figure of the coachman, who had now gone away.

"Wouldn't it be better if Servant delivered the letter."

"Not. You are the empress's bodyguard. The abilities you have are very useful for saving the empress. You'd better come with me now to find the empress."

"Ready!"

The duke and bodyguards went on a quest to find the empress. The morning sun has risen. They had already arrived at the Mist region.

This is the first time the empress has been kidnapped. Am I going to die again?

There was a sound at the door. That man was the one who had kidnapped the empress.

Karol shouted after hearing the news. Emmanuel then gave him a letter. Karol read the letter written by Duke Magnus.

"You bastard! You can't just keep the empress safe."

Karol let out a harsh sentence. Emmanuel was silent. He remembered the memories that had happened. Emmanuel could not help the empress. But now, he had to make amends.

"I will go there."

"Wait!"

Karol tried to prevent Emmanuel.

"We better contact the crown prince of the Southern kingdom. More allies the better."

Everything Karol said was true. The Mist Region is notorious for its crimes. Maybe the Lion crown prince can help a lot.

"Alright I will send an official letter to the crown prince of the Southern kingdom."
