Ren Baqian stood by the window for a while, and it seemed like he was somewhat familiarized with the feeling of being on Earth. He turned around and went over to check the surveillance camera, wanting to see how he actually left his apartment.
He sat on the chair and rewound the footage from the surveillance camera. Just when he appeared on the screen, he stopped the recording and then fast forwarded from there.
At that time, he was sleeping on his bed. Soon after, he vanished into thin air together with his bedsheet and the items which were by his side.
There was neither any sign of something that was going to occur nor anything that was amiss.
Ren Baqian rewound the footage again and played it in slow motion twice. Indeed, there wasn't any sign at all. He vanished into thin air just like that.
