"Look who's finally awake, my beautiful wife," Deimos said as soon as he saw Athena open her eyes

"Stop flirting with me," Athena said as she blushed hiding her face in the blankets

"Come on don't hide from me, I really want to see your face Thena" Deimos said which Immediately made Athena stop hiding and look at him in shock. Did he remember?

"What did you call me?" Athena asked hopeful

"Thena, I had a dream in which I called you Thena, you were smiling and you told me you like it, so do you like it Thena?" he asked as he caressed her face

"I love it Deimos" Athena answered him as she leaned her face in his hand with a smile, even though he didn't remember, at least those memories were coming into his head through dreams, it was way better than forgetting everything

"And I love you," Deimos said and kissed her forehead

"How long have I been asleep?"Athena asked after she saw that he was wearing a bit formal which meant he ended up going to the meeting that he was planning to go to

"It's just past dinner time, so for a while now" Deimos said staring at his wife. All that was on his mind was how such a beautiful person could love him and how others could ever mistake her as a curse, if anything, she was the most obvious blessing from above

"Admiring my beauty" Athena jokingly asked when she noticed how Deimos kept staring at her

"Yes, I am. I truly am a lucky man to have you as a wife and best friend" Deimos said and put his head down pulled Athena close to him and said "I love you very much my wife" which made Athena blush once more. She could never get used to hearing him say those words

"I love you too Deimos" she confessed and hugged her arms around his body which made Deimos feel warm and happy. He loved being in her arms. Those arms made him feel safe and loved, loved by her.

"You're a blessing to me Thena" he confessed, he just couldn't resist telling her sweet little words, he wanted to see her happy and always smiling, he had seen enough of her tears, those tears had broken him enough.

He knew that in their first life, they didn't have the happiest ending, he didn't know what happened, but he knew they had a past life together, his dreams were too clear to be just dreams. In this life, he would make sure that she was happy and he would do anything to remember their past life and recreate the happy moments, but this time there would be no sad moments. This time it was going to be a happy ending, they were going to grow old together even if it meant losing everything he had, he would trade it all for her happiness, everything and anything, well…, anything but her.
