Their Grade
Excitement rippled through the room as the announcement was made. Students shifted in their seats, some eager to show what they had learned on their own, while others nervous. Royce, Sirena, and Theron exchanged knowing looks, ready for the challenge.
"Let's start then, everyone! Let's have it by your surnames."
The first few students took their turns, stepping in front of the room and pressing their hands against the orb. Each time, the orb would glow softly, revealing different colors—blues, yellow, and orange—depending on the strength and nature of their mana.
One student, a boy with dark hair and a determined expression, approached the orb. When he touched it, the orb glowed a faint yellow. "Grade C," the professor announced, noting it down.
The grade was considered good enough compared to their ages.
