A broad sword is a blunt weapon with human length . Its prowess solely relies on its weight.
It's like a giant club in a shape of a big sword but with slight edge which could slice things apart just by the weight it carries as it was brandished.
It's a weapon for destruction. With right might and skill it could slice a mountain in half.
And right now this weapon is in the hand of a mighty figure that stood ferocious with his suppressive aura that swept over the surrounding.
Captain Harley, also known as the Sword Berserker , one of the ten Great Captains of the Eastern Military, brandished his great sword with unimaginable might.
Power energy coated the sword as it fell down with the might of the heavens.
" Blade Of Extinction!!!"
He shouted as he used almost half of his reserve in this single strike.
His technique is efficient and in others point of view is perfectly executed.
Wind surged as an illusory energy blade coated the sword making it a lot bigger.
Well, saying it's big is an understatement since it's extended up above about 30 meters.
It's a gigantic blade.
It's pressure parted the clouds.
The beasts shuddered as fear almost swallowed them.
But their sanity as an intelligent beasts of a higher tier prove that they're nothing to be scoffed at.
They released their own might as three bestial aura appeared in the atmosphere.
ROAR
SCREECH
GROWL
They roared as they released their own abilities.
Metallic Feathers coated in an absurd amount of power energy shoot towards the descending blade.
Along with it were Earth spikes that came out of the mouth of the Earth Devourer and a claw shaped power energy projectile that were shot from the shadow panther as it just swung its claws.
The three mighty abilities against one powerful technique.

It collided with a bang as dust covered the entire place.
Splatter
Pieces of meat rained as a metallic bird claw followed . Then a terrified eye of a metallic bird greeted the other beasts as its decapitated body fell scattered in unproportioned pieces with its head the only part left intact.
Howl
Roar
Growl
Screech
All the surrounding beasts especially the flyer types made their cries as one of their established leader fell.
One of the three elite beasts that stood against the mighty human , the Metal Winged Gigantic Sparrow just met its death.
They're all furious but could only helplessly stare at the murderer of their kin.
Harley watched the scattered gores expressionlessly.
He just used half of his stored power energy and directly felt the drop of his stamina.
But this effect is just a feeling since he emptied half of his energy in one go. While in actual fact he's energy is still far away from complete depletion.
He himself know it but the feeling is still something he can't avoid.
He stood staring at the remaining two beasts while channeling another round of energy to execute another technique while the two beasts are still in a moment of daze.
Now it would be easier to slaughter this remaining beasts since their main attacker had already fallen.
Harley made a stance then leap high in the air as power energy surged inside his body . It compressed towards his big sword before slashing it down with unimaginable might.
"The blade that parts the mountain!!"
A heavy pressure fell down towards the unguarded beasts .
Its might carry the majesty of the king of swords. Its not just a unique application of energy that works in this second strike.
It also carried the bearing of a swordsman. Its sharp edge glim with sharpness as if nothing could block it even the heavens.
The feeling of becoming a sword filled Harley's heart as realization surged in his heart.
' Slashing a sword without a sword. Parting heavens with the fingers. The edge is not the blade. The sharpness is not just at the edge.
The true sword is not the object at your hand but the WILL THAT YEARNS TO CUT ALL THAT BLOCK ITS PATH.'
He subconsciously released a sharp aura .
He has been working hard to awaken this ability that could gain him the title of the true swordsman.
And now he finally made it.

He shouted as he added more might to his descending attack.

The beasts roared in response, their bestial instinct did its rightful job letting the beasts create their own defensive stances.
The Earth Devourer dug deep to the ground hoping that the earth could somehow absorb some of the coming attack's destructive force.
The Shadow Panther also made its move trying to sped up its movement by channeling all of its energy in a desperate struggle. He moved like shadow that could be barely caught with the naked eye.
Unfortunately for them, their opponent has higher quality of energy, perception and intelligence.
What's more the same person just gained an ability.
The Heart of a swordsman.
All efforts were futile.
The path for survival was completely closed. Their deaths were finally sealed.

A huge crevice that stretched out to the 100 m distance was created .
Ho. Ho .
Captain Harley panted as he slowly lifted his aching body. His action just now tore some tissues of his muscles.
He did a reckless move making a big offensive attack while disregarding all defenses.
He was heavily injured by his own recklessness but he never cared.
He's now recovering. An evolvers natural healing capability is nothing to be underestimated. What's more the three dense white fog of power energy came rushing towards him and accelerated his recovery till he recovered some of his energy.
The surrounding is still chaotic as some of the refugees and recruits died.
However in the midst of chaos heroes rise. The remaining refugees and recruits all became Level 0 Leapers at the very least. Some even advanced at Level 1 especially the trained recruits.
But all this improvements seem to not make a big difference.
Some Level 0 died as numerous beasts attacked.
''Huh"
Harley just readied himself to provide help after recovering 50 percent of his energy, when a strange occurrence happened.
Roar.
Splatter
Howl
Slice
Screech
Rip
Beasts were grinded like a meat in the grinder. Pieces of meat rained as some of the beast's parts fortunate enough flew intact.
"Wha- What's happening?"
"Look!"
Exclamations sounded at the recruit soldiers' ranks as one of them pointed at the eastern part of the battlefield where beast howls sounded one after another.
Harley noticed it as well and his eyes can't help but twitch.
Then a silhouette of a man was seen as it advance entering the midst of the beast army.
" Com' on Little Lion. Let's rampage this battle field."
The man suddenly shouted.
