You Must Live!

Athis was lying on the ground, just above a puddle of blood. The wound the chief had inflicted on him was so deep that his whole body was covered in blood. Even his clothes had taken on a reddish hue.

Seeing his best friend in this state, Eden found it difficult to come to his senses. It looked like he was having a hard time digesting what had just happened in front of him.

And he stayed that way for two seconds. These two seconds, however, had passed like months for Eden so much that he did not understand what had just happened.

However, he couldn't stay like this for long. If he could do anything with his illusionist powers, then he had to do everything to save him, even if it cost him his life.

However, before saving him, he had to end someone's life.

"You're going to regret this piece of shit," Eden said in a barely audible voice.

"Huh? What did you say-..." The chef said before a figure appeared in his field of vision. This figure was Eden who had just used all his speed to get in front of the leader. His speed was so high that the chief hadn't even seen him move, not even a blur.

"Back-stab" Eden said before a magic circle appears in front of him. He was then teleported behind the back of his opponent.

This spell was usually an assassin skill that allowed the user to teleport into his opponent's back to make a blow to him with doubled damages. This skill, however, requires being quite close to his opponent, which Eden had done by putting himself right in front of his enemy.

Eden teleported behind the leader and swung his scythe from left to right. This blow was directed at the chief's neck, and it killed him immediately. He had just cut off the chef's head as if cutting butter.

By killing the chief, Eden had just climbed to level 10. This level rise gave him 30 points to assign for his stats as well as 10000 HP and MP thanks to his decimator title.

Eden immediately assigned his 30 points in intelligence, giving him an additional 300 MP.

Thanks to all these new stats, the PMs of Eden had reached a whole new threshold. This increase also allowed him to fill out his MP which he had almost completely used during his fight. Not wasting another minute, Eden ran towards Athis who was only a few meters away from him.

"Athis please tell me you're alive!" Eden exclaimed as he was running towards his friend.

Taking his pulse, Eden noticed that Athis was still alive. Finally, living was a very big word. To say that he was on the verge of death would be more appropriate since one could barely feel his pulse and heart beating.

Once he saw that he was still not dead, Eden warded off several spells. A multitude of green magic circles had just been created around them, whether above, below, or on the

sides, they were everywhere.

"Athis please, you have to live," he said, tear going down his eyes. "We were supposed to go to the academy together and summon creatures. Come on Athis come on!" He activated all the magic circles while begging Athis to at least answer by a little sound.

As they were activated, the magic circles gave off a refreshing sensation on the body of the person who was being treated. This was a sign that the healing magic used was working. However, that didn't seem to be the case for Athis.

"Athis I beg you," Eden said while having tears streaming down his cheeks.

In normal times, the amount of magic circle created by Eden would have been enough to heal almost any wound that was non-fatal. But it seemed that they were ineffective on Athis since his wound did not seem to close.

"No! Don't tell me he's not healing because he lost so much blood! No no no! Eden you dumb ass!!!". Eden shouted before creating a phenomenal amount of red magic circle.

This time, the red circles were blood spells. These spells activated quickly and Eden could rapidly see that some kind of red thread was heading towards Athis' wound. This magic circle created blood for Athis so that he could make up for all the blood he had just lost. However, even this coupled with the healing spells seemed to be just enough to cure him. The healing was so slow that Athis lost his life faster than he regained it.

"Damn Athis, why don't you want to wake up? Please!"

The speed that Eden was emptying his HP and MP was absolutely amazing. He lost about 200 of every two seconds. And knowing that it had just passed 1 minute, Eden had already lost 6000 of each, more than half of his HP is a little less than his MP max.

Time continued to pass and it was only a matter of time for Athis to leave this world. Thirty seconds had still passed but it seemed that it was still not enough to cure Athis.

If he continued like this, even Eden could end up dying. He also lost his HP, so by extension his blood because of his red magic circles and he broke his mana channels due to the intense use of his MP. If the situation continued like this, the two friends would eventually die.

It was at this time that Eden had an idea. An idea that was going to cost him a little bit his life, but it was worth it if he could save his friend.

He dispelled all his magic circles, which instantly aggravated Athis' situation. Eden, however, created a huge white magic circle just below Athis. Once active, the circle lit up and a column of light could be perceived in the sky. He went so high that he could even be seen from the Queen's Castle.

While this column of light was active, Athis' wound could be seen regenerating at the naked eye. It looked like someone was giving him life back by sacrificing his own. And that was exactly what was happening.

Eden was using his life force to heal Athis. This life force was something that all living things possessed, but only a tiny fraction of them could use it. The latter had a multitude of functions such as strengthening attacks, defending itself more easily, or as in this situation, treating someone using its life force.

In addition, the spell did not drain any HP or MP from Eden, which relieved his body, even if it was only very little. However, his condition could also be seen deteriorating every second, from natural white skin color to a sick white.

'Eden stop it!. He is in no danger now. He just needs a little rest. If you continue to do this it is you who gonna end up dying' A teenage voice said in Eden's mind.

Immediately after hearing this voice, Eden gradually began to deactivate his spell. On deactivation, the column of white light began to disappear.

Once the column fully dissipated, one could see Athis who was still above a puddle of blood but with a whole new abdomen. He had just been completely regenerated thanks to Eden's last spell.

"It's okay, he looks safe and sound now," Eden thought with a slight smile when he saw his friend who was sleeping soundly. However, there was always something in his head.

"Hey, who just spoke to me-..." Eden said before he fell to the ground from exhaustion. As soon as his body touched the ground, Eden gradually began to faint.

However, just before he could faint completely, he saw a message from the system in his field of vision.

[Congratulations, you just created...]

It was the only thing he could see before he fainted completely.

A few minutes later, a person had come to the top of the hill. When she arrived, this person did not understand what had just happened. Nine people have fainted on one side. A person who no longer had a head because the latter was 5 meters away from his body opposite to the nine people. And finally, two teenagers were on top of a puddle of blood. One of them was on his back, while the other was on his stomach.

"Damn it, what happened here?" The woman wondered before heading towards Eden and Athis.
