Well Used and You'll Wreak Havoc

The magic circle then lit up in the sky and before the tank could even react, several blue rays fired by the circle towards the tank. These rays didn't do much damage especially when one put them against a tank that had received an upgrade in defense stat by a priest, but there were so many that even with high defense, a person couldn't do anything about this deluge of blue rays.

About thirty rays were fired at the same time and created a large cloud of smoke upon impact. Once this cloud had dissipated, one could see the effect of Eden's spell. The tank was on the ground with a mall puddle of frozen blood below him. His blood had frozen because of the element of the spell Eden used, which was why the magic circle was light blue.

Ice was an element that Eden adored, so it was the first one he had come to mind when he created his bow. However, now that he had seen the effect of his spell, he couldn't help but smile bitterly because if he wanted to collect his victim's blood, he had to cut somewhere else.

The spell had also emptied him of his mana, which had happened as a surprise to him. He knew that when a person's mana channels were damaged, it was very dangerous to be emptied of his mana, and because of that, he couldn't help but take a sip of blood from the assassin's body. He did not yet control his power as an illusionist well enough so it was predictable that his spell would empty him of his MP.

However, being emptied of MP did not mean being emptied of HP. So he quickly created a dagger before making a slight wound on the big guy who was knocked out in front of him. After licking the edge of his blade, he threw his dagger in a straight line at the priest who was still immobile. The man who had the woman in his grip had already escaped. He was far too afraid of ending up in the same state as his comrades.

Once the dagger had traveled the necessary distance, a cut could be seen on the priest's cheek. The latter had immediately fainted after feeling the pain. A priest stayed in the rear lines during fights so they rarely received damage. That was why he fainted after receiving a cut on his cheek.

Once the priest was ashore, Eden could finally breathe. The inside of his body hurt tremendously right now and felt silly that he hadn't bought potions to alleviate the pain.

However, he didn't even have time to breathe for 5 seconds before he heard voices from quite a distance.

"Here Mr. Guard, thugs are being attacked by a little man" A villager shouted to the guards who were beginning to arrive at the scene of the crime at a crazy speed.

While the eyes of the people were on the guards, Eden rushed to the priest and took a drop of his blood. He immediately put his finger in his mouth before heading to the alley where the last of the thugs had escaped.

After questioning the people around to find out what had happened, the guards wanted to thank the little man who had saved the young woman. Unfortunately for them, the only thing that came out of the alley was a cat with white fur and red eyes. The guards, however, did not pay attention to the cat because they thought it was just a street cat.

Unfortunately, they didn't know that the man they wanted to thank was this cat. After the guards had taken away the thugs, all the spectators left for their occupations or to continue the party. Athis too had left the stage with a huge smile on his head.

He did not leave empty-handed, however, because when he left, he had a white cat with red eyes in his arms.

Eden had recovered enough mana to use 'polymorphic', and that's was why he was currently in the shape of a cat. However, after 5 minutes of walking, a noise was heard inside the cat.

"Eden is everything okay?" Asked Athis who was visibly worried.

Just when he said that Eden transformed himself back into human form while still being in Athis' arms. His mana channels had strange effects on his body. One of them was the fact that he had transformed himself back into a human form without his consent.

"A- Athis, can you drop me off on the ground please," Eden asked with a red face. He was covered in shame.

After Eden told him this, Athis didn't understand why he was like this. However, after a little more inspection, he could see that Eden was currently naked, and had only the cape he had given him this morning on him. Athis' head immediately turned red and laid Eden on the ground, who immediately went to one of the alleys to put his clothes on.

However, even though Athis was currently red because he was strangely hot, he didn't hesitate to take a picture of Eden.

Not his body of course.

He took a picture of the expression that Eden was currently doing when he was heading towards the alleys. This expression made him laugh hard and thought that it will be a good memory to keep it.

Once he had changed and told Athis to delete the photos, the two boys began to head to the central square where people were dancing, singing, or doing beautiful things with spells. While they were walking, however, Athis had a few questions on his head.

"Eden, how come you managed to beat them? I mean, you may be strong in combat but that doesn't mean you can beat people who are double your level."

"Hmm, well I think it's partly because of my equipment and the fact that I'm a vampire. My set gives me pretty huge stats while my race gives me a better physique" Eden replied sincerely.

"Aren't you lucky? Anyway, I wanted to ask you this too, how come you can use a magic spell when you're just an illusionist? When I say that I mean that an illusionist is supposed to make people see scary things, not do spells of another class" Athis asked while tilting his head slightly to the side while facing Eden.

"You know, I had read somewhere where they said, 'Any class that is in good hands can wreak havoc.'" Eden replied before continuing with a small satisfied laugh on his face. "An illusionist certainly made people see things that don't exist, but that doesn't mean he can't create those things either. On the contrary, they can do practically anything they want as long as they have the necessary imagination and mana of course.

"Since we almost create spells from scratch, we use a lot more mana, which can make things quite complicated sometimes" Eden explained in more detail after finding this in his last fight.

Eden had certainly never been able to experience this before, but the fact that there were spells for each class was simply to help the person discover his way. A person who had mastery on the ice for example will certainly have spells to help him fight such as binding spells, but that did not mean that he will not be able to create and use ice outside of his spells. It was the same principle for his illusionist class.

As he said, as long as the person had the necessary imagination, he can do whatever he wants. The only negative point for his class was that since he could create any spell, his mana cost increased considerably as shown by his last fight where his spell had used all his mana which was almost full before its use. On the other hand, when he had used the sword of glacial dreams when he was still Kila, he had certainly used all his mana, but since he had full control on ice, the mana used was much less compared to now if he were to recreate it with his illusionist class.

However, the fact that he is a vampire compensates for this. As long as he can absorb blood, his mana will increase, and the more he will increase, the more he will be able to create spells that no one had ever seen before. No one but him of course. His imagination never stopped working, even when he was trying to rest and clear his mind.

Some might see this as a blessing, but for him, at certain points in his life, it was more like a curse.

This principle also worked normally with his vampire race. If he had two islands in his mana core, it would necessarily mean that he could also use blood at will. For example, he could control the blood inside a person to boil it and thus explode him from the inside, but to achieve this, he will need better control over his element. Maybe later when he will be higher level, but surely not now.

"*Sigh*. In addition to being handsome, you have such a powerful class" Athis ends up saying after sorting through the information in his mind. He couldn't help but compare himself to Eden. He had such a powerful class while he only have a few invocations. He didn't think so until he asked these questions, but his morale was now down to zero.

"You know Athis," Eden said after seeing that his friend was making a fake smile to not alert him. "I don't know who told you that a summoner was useless but let me tell you that, they are all wrong. A summoner is one of the most powerful classes I know, and believe me, I know a bunch of them."

"If that's the case, why did I never find any info about this class? Our empire has a great history and no one has ever heard of this class" Athis replied while having tears in his eyes. Things begin to be too much and it was hard t restrain himself to not cry.

"No idea," Eden replied honestly. "On the other hand, the thing I'm sure of is that the summoners are monstrous at a high level. I don't even know if I'll be able to scratch you if we ever fight when we will be high-level. Ah, and let me give you a little tip I just thought of.

"The few invocations you have are summoned thank's to your spells right?" Eden asked Athis, who nodded. "In this case, you just create your invocations yourself. As long as you have the necessary imagination, mana, and willpower, I am sure you will even be able to summon legendary monsters such as dragons, griffins, or phoenixes. Maybe not now, but later, believe me, you'll be unbeatable."

The trick that Eden had just given could in itself be feasible. He wasn't sure because there were different types of summoners in the books he was reading. There were the summoners who contracted to monsters found in dungeons and nature, or summoners with predefined invocations, as in the case of Athis. If he would have been the first case, he would probably never have managed to create his own invocations, while for the second, it was something quite feasible. If the summoner class were like his illusionist class and blood powers, then Athis could most certainly create invocations.

However, it was only an idea and they will have to test this. But Eden believed with all his heart that this was something achievable. He was gradually beginning to think that the system only gives spells so that the user finds his way and not a predefined path. However, if that were the case and it wasn't what Eden was thinking about, it would have been totally, but mediocre on the part of a system that was supposed to be omnipotent.

Hearing Eden's explanation, Athis' tears had been changed into small stars that shone brightly. He didn't know if this would be possible, but just believing in it gave him hope about his life, his class, and his once uncertain future.

They then finally arrived at the central square after talking for so long. They only waited the evening for the fireworks before returning to Athis' place. However, these fireworks were only scheduled for two hours later, that is at 7:30 p.m., so there was still time to climb a hill and observe the landscape from above.

Unknown to them that they were being watched by some people.
