Ten against One?

"*Sigh* how come someone like you came after so many beautiful scenes, and at the worst time in addition. How despicable of you" Eden said in a clear and crisp voice so that even the people behind him could hear it.

"What did you say, moron!?!" The leader of the gang shouted. "Remember that I'm gonna kick your ass!"

"Kay, Kay no need to get upset" Eden replied in a calm voice, but one could hear that he was annoyed by all those people who were bothering him every time he wanted to do something with his friend.

Eden then began to stand up but decided to not change his appearance. He had already been unmasked anyway so what's the point.

"Eden wait, isn't it better to run away?" Ahis tried to say to stop Eden. "There are ten of them and you will fight alone, you will have no chance so please" He begged with all his might. He didn't want to lose his friend for something so futile.

"What's the point of running away?" Eden replied while looking straight ahead with a menacing look. "These kinds of people will only understand when they are put back in their place. And then, who said I was going to fight alone?" He smiled

"Come here bastard, do not waste my time or el-..." The chief said before being interrupted by Eden.

"Shut your fuc*ing mouth," He said in a menacing tone but with a completely calm face. "Who allowed you to speak huh? Woodlice of your kind are supposed to stay on the ground, not to open their mouths at every turn."

"You-" The leader became angry before rushing to Eden at full speed. The leader of the band was level 30 so his stats exceeded that of Eden. Well... just a little.

'Look like my provocation is working. It's so easy with people like him,' Eden thought while smiling from the inside.

Thanks to his speed, the leader covered the 20 meters that separated him from Eden in less than 2 seconds. These two seconds were however enough for Eden to use his mirror illusion and thus create his 5 clones. These clones immediately rushed to the 9 people that the chief had brought with him.

Even if they fight in a two-to-one battle, Eden was sure that his clones would win. Even though his enemies were all at level 20, they couldn't be compared to Eden's. And knowing that the clones had the same stats as the original, there was no way for them to lose. The only problem currently was the leader, but even though his stats were currently below him, it was only a matter of time before he get +90 in stats. He just had to hold on long enough, and what better

way to save time than a scythe that kept the enemy at bay while putting the enemy on guard so that he would not die in an unpredictable blow.

As a result, even before he got too close, Eden created a scythe that was almost twice his size. To create his scythe, Eden had used 300 HP and 300 MP so that she could withstand the blows of someone at level 30 with good physical and magical ability. The blade of the scythe was red. It did, however, have white stripes that went from the bottom of the blade to the top while making the shape of a flower petal. These stripes ran from the tip of the blade to the intersection with the handle.

These two parts, however, were separated by a blue crystal that kept the mana used to create the weapon inside. This scythe was both a work of art and a killing machine, perfect for making an enemy shiver from head to toe.

"You think that's how you're going to beat me?" Shouted the leader before throwing his right fist at Eden's head.

"Pfft, of course, I'll beat you with that. Do not compare me with you, we are not in the same category" Provoked Eden once again while making a very slight leap backward and pushing the blade of his scythe towards the fist that was rushing on him.

Bang !!

The clash between the chief's fist and Eden's scythe created a wide thud and a cloud of dust. Surprisingly, neither of them had gained the upper hand over the other and they stayed that way for two seconds before making some leap backward to distance themselves.

The shock was however much more superior for the leader as a level 8 was not supposed to have as much power. Although it was clear that he had the advantage in terms of strength, Eden followed him very closely.

Eden however was shocked for a different reason. He expected a level 30 to be significantly higher in terms of stats than him, but that was not the case. The only reason he had decided to carry out this confrontation was to gauge the strength of his enemy, and to his surprise, this confrontation had brought him more than he thought.

'If it's not too simple! Haha, I didn't expect vampires to be so powerful' Eden thought in euphoria.

Not wanting Eden to think of a plan, the leader rushed back to him. However, it seemed that his speed had now increased as he had arrived much faster in front of him than last time. Eden barely had time to reflexively defend that one could see him flying in the air.

The leader seemed to have become faster but also more powerful.

"Argghh, it seems that I have forgotten how much skills can change the course of a fight," Said Eden to himself after stabilizing.

The chief rushed once again towards Eden, and this time a kind of green aura could be seen covering the chief's arms. Not wanting to be a punching ball, Eden also decided to go for an attack. He put his scythe in his palm and placed it just above him. His scythe then began to turn quickly like a spinning top, and in just a few milliseconds, a blue aura could be seen coming out of the weapon.

Eden had used the part with mana to create a magical attack. If he could not win by confronting the leader hand-to-hand, then the only way would be to stay away from him until the wheels of his plan could be put in place.

Seeing the aura that Eden had created moving towards him, the leader stopped his race to block the blue aura that came towards him. The projectiles hit his arm, but as if nothing had touched him, the chief resumed his race.

"*Tch it seems that I underestimated him too much," Eden said, seeing him rushing at him again.

Understanding very well that ranged attacks will only slow him down by less than a second, Eden decided to bet everything on hand-to-hand combat. If he were to take blows, so be it, but he will do everything not to lose against someone less than nothing.

Before he made another confrontation with the leader, Eden infused his weapon with mana to make it more powerful and resistant. And it seemed that it had worked because when they had made contact, Eden managed to resist the strength of the leader.

"You're really strong for a level 8, too bad I can't recruit you," the leader said as they were face-to-face holding their positions.

"Even if I had a choice, I would still rather die than be under the orders of someone like you," Eden replied, smiling before jumping backward as the confrontation became harder and harder to hold.

The chief, however, did not let go of the cluster because he followed him immediately after he had leaped backward. As he followed him, the chief was even angrier than when he arrived on the hill. This time he was determined to put an end to Eden, regardless of whether he could serve him in the future or not. He had disrespected him far too much since he came here, and it was an unforgivable mistake for him.

Seeing him in this state, Eden could not be happier. Getting angry during a fight inevitably led to mistakes, and that was precisely what Eden had aimed to do from the beginning. He knew that beating a level 30 would have been very difficult even for someone like him who had stats significantly higher than his level. And the only way to win when you had a disadvantage like this was to make your enemy lose his temper so that he could make mistakes that will be fatal to him.

Every moment was important in a fight, so just a moment of inattention could lead to someone's death.

The two continued to face each other without any real winner. However, even if from a distance it seemed that they were playing evenly, from close range, one could very well see that Eden was the one who was losing the confrontation. His movements became slower and slower and he put less and less strength on each of his strokes.

This lack of endurance, unfortunately, caused Eden a blow to the stomach. The chief had managed to feign a blow to the head while the real was going to the belly.

Eden was propelled away because of the force and was visibly struggling to get up. The leader's blow was much more powerful than he had imagined, and it seemed that it could not last very long.

The chief propelled himself once again on him by seeing him on the ground to finish Eden. He was tired of seeing a wimp who was only countering his blows and wanted to finish as quickly as possible so that he could go and continue his activities.

When he had arrived in front of Eden, he gained momentum with his arm and then swing it towards Eden's head. This blow was his final blow, and it seemed that if Eden took him in the face, he could very well die.

"EDEN!!!" Athis shouted with all his might.

Boom!!

Before the punch could even hit Eden, a projectile hit the leader's head directly and created an explosion. Upon receiving the explosive arrow, the leader had slipped a few meters to the side, while Eden had risen to go where his clones were. He quickly took the blood of the 9 members of the gang who seemed to have visibly fainted.

After drinking the last drop of blood, Eden had a big smile on his face.

"Let's end this"
