A Rise in Power

"Let's end this" Eden said as he licked the last trace of blood that was on his finger.

"You bastard! Do you believe that by being six you will be able to defeat me?!" The leader shouted before surrounding himself with his aura and rushing towards Eden.

"Pff, I don't need them to defeat you now," He said as he clapped his hands, causing all his clones to disappear at once.

Now that his stats were significantly superior to the leader, Eden could see his movements very clearly. Before he drank the blood of the gang members, he defended mostly by instinct against incessant blows, but now that his stats had increased, it had become a different story.

However, before he came into range, Eden decided to strengthen his weapon so that it would not break during the rest of the fight. Not that he was afraid that it would break under the blows of his enemy, far from it. He was afraid that it would break under his new strength.

Once reinforced, the weapon had no visual changes on the outside, but Eden could very well feel that his scythe had become much more powerful than before.

Once within reach, Eden and the chief finally made contact. However, this time, whoever won the confrontation had indeed changed. Eden did not need to put much power into his move for him to be able to compete with that of the chef.

"How?" The shocked leader asked before jumping backward.

Eden did not let go of the bunch however, he had to give to the leader the equivalent of what he suffered during their confrontation.

"What's the matter? Why are you backing off? Are you afraid? Pff, HAHA" Eden chuckled with an evil smile. One could think that he look like a demon with his laugh and his creepy smile.

The chief didn't even have time to jump far enough before Eden caught up with him. His speed had risen in one fell swoop and it had become absurd. However, even if he caught up with him in a few milliseconds, he didn't want to finish him off as quickly, so his blows weren't very powerful. However, they were powerful enough so that the chief could not attempt something.

Under the incessant and omitting blows of Eden, the leader could only defend. He couldn't even dream of counterattacking, Eden left no opening.

Seeing very well that he could not do anything, the chief decided to try everything on the last confrontation. The aura there was on his body was only a part of his power and what he was about to use was something he only used as a last resort. So he distanced himself from Eden and before the latter could even catch up with him, the chief uttered a huge shout.

Following this cry, the body of the chief began to change. His body began to grow in all directions. His head began to elongate forward as if to create a dog's muzzle and sharp teeth also began to come out of his mouth. His body began to become hairy, so hairy that it looked like he now had animal fur.

'What? His power was supposed to be this aura right? Why does he turn into a werewolf now?' Eden wondered, which made him forget to attack him during his transformation. "F*ck, I should have finished him while he was transforming, it's going to be hard facing him now"

"Grrrr, come here now little-... »

"Shhh who told you to talk while I was still there?"

Mad with rage following Eden's remark, the leader who was now a big beast of more than three meters rushed towards his enemy. Surprisingly, even with his huge body, he had become much faster. So fast that he now equaled Eden's speed.

'A power booster like this is supposed to be a berserk skill, isn't it?. Unless I'm missing something?' Eden thought as he saw the leader's speed increase.

Seeing that he was coming towards him at full speed, Eden suspected that his power had probably also increased. Not wanting to tempt the devil, he finally decided to use a real spell. Using his vampire powers in the same way as his illusionist powers, Eden created a red magic circle right in front of him on the ground.

Just as the chief was about to conjure his fist, a wall of blood rose from the ground. It was not, however, liquid blood but rather solid blood, or crystal blood if one needs a better explanation.

Bang !!

A thud echoed after the chief's fist hit the wall. The latter smashed on the spot but the chief's fist had turned red. A few milliseconds later, the inside of the chief's body warmed up and the chief coughed up a mouthful of blood.

Not even having time to understand what was happening to him, the scythe came straight towards him. The leader managed to block it with his forearm, but at the cost of a deep cut on the latter.

Again, a few milliseconds later, the chief once again spat out a mouthful of blood.

Seeing that his plan was working, Eden immediately created 38 needles and threw them all at the werewolf in front of him. All of them crashed on him but had not inflicted any serious injury on him. Well, only from an outside point of view. The interior was currently dying because of the poison.

Eden had made exactly 40 injuries or 20 seconds of poisoning and paralysis. Paralysis, however, was not a complete paralysis because it only slightly reduced a person's speed.

However, this reduction coupled with poison for 20 seconds was a perfect combination.

Not understanding what was happening to him, the chief decided to go back to Eden.

However, the paralysis seemed to have a more powerful effect than expected which allowed Eden to escape the chief's attacks quite easily. He was still on his guard because he had already taken a huge blow at the beginning of the fight. After all, he had become too sure of himself.

Thinking that the fight had lasted too long, Eden decided to end it. He stopped dodging the chief's blows and passed behind his back like a snake that was going to eat his prey.

He then let go of his scythe and made a fist with his hand before swinging it straight into the face of the chief who had just turned around.

The body of the chief could then be seen flying in the air for about ten meters. Eden had put more power than necessary simply to knock him out, which was why he had flown so far. He had decided to knock him out because he didn't want to kill him. Even if it would have been free XP in addition, it was not today that he will become a murderer.

After flying through the air, the leader had landed right next to Athis who was still shocked to see Eden defeat the leader so easily. He was so speechless that he hadn't even noticed that the chef wasn't knocked out.

Seeing that the person standing in front of him was Eden's friend, the chief suddenly stood up and imprisoned Athis under his control.

"Damn! What are you doing dirty pork?!" Eden shouted as he saw Athis being held by the chief.

"Close there dirty dog! If you want me to release him beg on your knees. Do that or I kill him right away"

'Damn why didn't I just kill him? F*ck!'

Not knowing what else to do and not wanting to put Athis' life in danger, Eden decided to obey. He got on his knees and begged the leader to release him.

"Please release him" he begged, kneeling while having his forehead on the ground.

"What a good little dog"

At that moment, just as Eden had raised his head, something unimaginable had just happened. The chief had tucked his wolf hand into Athis' abdomen and opened it wide just before releasing him.
