Chapter 13: An old friend

It was everyone's last day at the village. I made a deal with Prince and father. I wanted my brothers, Liam and I to ride on a Sea dragon. Of course they would be riding with me. It was almost time to go into the forest. I went to pack my clothes to change into so I won't get sick again. I warned my brothers and Liam to do the same. Mom and dad said they would just watch. I offered them to come. My father Calder and my other siblings said they could come anytime. So it was just the people I mentioned.

I saw my brother Liam and everyone waiting in front of Prince's house. "Sorry everyone. I hope you didn't wait long." "No we just got here a few minutes ago." Said Leo. "Ok Prince. Lead the way." I said. "Haha ok then. You sound like a kid at Christmas." "Am I really that excited?" Everyone looked at me. "I take it as a yes."

We finally got to the river and Prince called Sea. As usual Sea came zooming over. "He turned human so they could understand him." "Your all here for the ride right?" said Sea. "Its just me, Liam and my brothers today. I packed some clothes so I don't get sick this time. I made sure my brothers and Liam brought their stuff as well." I put on woman swim trunks and a Blue tank top with a swimming braw under it. My brothers just put on swim trunks. Liam had on a swimming tank and swimming shorts. He told me he had some embarrassing scars. I didn't care. "Ok then. Let me turn back and all of you can hop on. Don't worry about hurting me. My Sea Dragon skin is thick." He turned and we all hopped on. Then I said. "He will put a spell on for us to breathe underwater. You should already be able to see. Its part of the enchanted lake." They all nodded. "Ok Sea. Lets head to your place. Show them how fast you can go." "Everyone hang on tight ok? I mean tight. He is going to go fast. If any of you need him to slow down let me know ok? I will tell him." They did as they were told. "Ok Go!" Sea went pretty fast and in only a few minutes got home. When we stopped I looked behind me and started laughing. "Hehehaha You boys. Your hair is hilarious. I wish you could see it right now You to too Liam. Lets get into the water and the water will fix it. Oh you will need to hold your breath until he puts the spell on you ok?" They all nodded. Sea went down and put the spell on the boys first then me and Liam. "Ok breathe now guys. They took a deep breath. "Lets go see my father." We stayed on Sea and went to see his father.

"Hello father got the guests. Can I show them around?" "Yes of course. Remember the spell only lasts an hour." "Yes I know father. OK everyone don't leave my back." "I will tell them. He said not to leave his back." "Ok we won't." Said Liam. So Sea gave us a tour and we saw a bunch of other people and talked to them on the way. The boys and Liam were excited. As well as I was.

As we were going I saw a room. "Stop for minute Sea. What is that room?" "Oh that is the music room. Want to go in there?" "Yes please. I want to play the piano." "OK be careful." I nodded. I sat down on the piano and started playing any random song on wanted. I just finished when it was getting hard to breathe. "Take me up. My Oxygen level is getting low." "What? It should have another half hour. OK hang On." He got her on his back then we were out in the open and someone attacked Sea. Rhylie fell off but no one could catch her in time. Sea quickly got the others up for air. "No! Rhylie needs Help!" He nodded letting them know he knows. He got the others to safety and told them the situation. "I will find her I promise." Said Sea in his human form. He turned and quickly went down. There was a current that time. He has an idea of where she would have went.

Sea swam over to a cove where there is air above the water. She could have floated up there. He finally got there and just as he thought there she was. He turned human and brought her up. She looked really pale. He looked at her chest and she wasn't breathing. "Hang on Rhylie. I won't let you die." He did CPR On her. After a few pumps she coughed up water. (Cough Cough Cough Cough) "Rhylie! lYou ok now!" "Y-Yeah what happened? Is everyone else ok?" "Yeah I managed to get them back to the surface they are safe for now." "Good. What attacked you? OH no they hurt you!" "Its just a scratch. I'm fine. What happened? Why did you lose your oxygen sooner?" "I don't know. I am assuming it has something to do with my special blood that was mentioned. I have a strange feeling. I need to get to the surface fast." "Hopefully my spell will work on you this time." "I Have a feeling it will." I Held my breathe and we went under. He put the spell on me and I was fine. He swam out of the cave and quickly to the surface. "You ok Rhylie?" "Yeah I'm fine. Lets hurry back."

It took us about 15 minutes to get there even with his spend. I was finally able to see everyone and waved at them. I jumped off of Sea and swam over to them since it wasn't far. Once I got up I hugged Liam. "Thank God your ok Rhylie! You scared the hell out of us." "Sorry. Sea was attacked he was hurt. He says it's a scratch but it looks deeper. Oh yeah I know!" I let go of Liam and looked at Sea. "Sea I want you to turn human for me." He listened to me. "Good now take off your shirt. I'm going to heal your wound." "Rhylie I told you I am fine." "I don't care. I am going to heal you anyway." He looked defeated and did as he was told. I stared for a few seconds Then I touched his wound and a blue light showed. That says its working. "Ok its healed now." He looked where his wound was and said, "Thanks Princess." "Sure." "OK get back home safely ok? I will see you some other time." He nodded then turned and headed home. "I have to go back to the village quick! I have a strange feeling. I don't know if its good or bad." I put on my long sleeve dress and a towel over me.

We got to the village and I was right to find out about a strange feeling. Someone I have known since childhood from the forest is here. He is what you call an Ayakashi. Half beast half human. "I hope it's a good feeling. I know this person. Mom and dad don't I met him secretly." "You guys head to the park. I will be right there ok?" They did as they were told. "Hey Kion!" He was half demon and half human. He was from the same village as Ice was. "Rhylie? Is that you?" "Yeah its me." He ran over and gave me a hug. He is like a little brother to me. He is a year older than the boys. "Hey my parents are waiting at the park. They said they wanted to meet you. My fiancé and little brothers are there. Oh and My father Prince Calder and my siblings Sage and Lily are too. Everyone wants to see you. If your scared you can stay close to me ok?" "Ok." So I held his hand and we headed to the park.

"Hey Everyone. I have a special guest with me. He is a little shy. His name is Kion. He is half demon and half human. He is a year older than the twins. I consider him a younger brother. Come on out its ok. Say hi and introduce yourself." "H-Hello. M-my name is Kion." "Nice to meet you Kion." Said Prince. "So is this a centaur village? I saw a lot of them?" "Yes it is." "So Kion. What brings you to the centaur Village?" I asked. "My family died. I was the only survivor of them. The villiage is still ok but my mom dad and brothers are dead. I told the village elder I wanted to stay with you. Its not a problem is it?" "Oh No. Come here. Kion." I hugged him and he cried a little bit. "Its ok. I will protect you as best as I can ok?" I felt him nod and when he calmed down I said. "Now there will be times I can't be with you ok? This is Prince. When I am not around you will stay with him ok? This is also my father Calder and my siblings Sage and Lily. Over there is the family who took me in. Leo and Tyson. Then mom and dad." He nodded they nodded back. "Today is there last day here. They have to head back tomorrow. Oh and this is my fiancé Liam." "Nice to meet you Liam." "Nice to meet you too Kion." So we sat down and visited awhile until it was dinner time.

We had a get together at Prince's house. He made a big dinner. "Wow Prince. When did you time to make this? Oh right you were the one who arranged this right?" "Yep. Oh I have Cot I can set up in your room for Kon. I also have extra blankets and pillows." Said Prince. "Thank you." I said. "Go on Kion. Tell him thank you." "Thank you, Prince." "You're welcome Kion." So we ate our dinner.

"What time are you leaving tomorrow?" I asked. "We are leaving around 8:00 in the morning. The earlier the better." "OK I will meet you guys there. I want to walk you to the gate." Once dinner was done I walked them to the door. "Have a good night everyone." I gave my little brother parents and Liam and hug then they went to the hotel. I hugged my other siblings Sage and Lily. They were heading out with Liam. "I'll miss you guys till I get back." "You will be fine. We will miss you too little sister." Sage bent down and said, "Take care of Rhylie little one Ok?" He nodded. Then Sage ruffled his head and they both left.

"Ok I'm sure your both tired. Let me set up the cot and get it ready." He got the cot out and set it up. Then he got a pillow and an extra blanket for Kion. "Ok its all set. See you both in the morning." Before they went in, Kion went over to Prince and hugged him. "Aww thank you Kion. You're a nice kid." "Thank you for watching over Rhylie and doing this for me." "Its all good. Rhylie is a daughter of a friend. But your welcome." Kion let go and went in the room with Rhylie.

"OK Kion. Can you get into bed ok?" "Yeah." "Want me to tuck you in?" "No I'm ok." "Alright goodnight." "Goodnight Rhylie and thank you." "Sure."

The next morning I got up early enough to get ready to meet them at the hotel. Luckily Kion was an early riser as well as Prince. "OK Prince I'm leaving with Kion." "OK have fun." So we walked over to the hotel they were staying at. When we got there we saw Sage and Lily waiting as well.

"Hello Sage and Lily." "Oh hey Rhylie. Come to see us off?" "Yeah I did. I also brought Kion with me." Then I saw everyone coming out of the hotel. "Hello Rhylie good morning." Said mom. "Morining mom and dad." "Morning Rhylie." Said Dad. "Morning little brothers." "Morning sister." Said the boys and Liam. "Morning Liam." I said. So we all started walking to the gate.

Once we got to the gate it got emotional. Everyone had tears except for Kion since he didn't know them that well yet. I squeezed my brothers to where they couldn't breathe again and said, "Be good for mom and dad until I get back ok? I will do my bestest to come back before the festival ok?" "Ok." Said Leo. Then I hugged my mom and dad. "Try not to kill the twins until I get back ok? Hehe." "Haha. We will try not to Rhylie." Said father. Then I went over to Liam. "Liam I will do my best to get this horror over so we can spend some time before we get married after all this I will be lucky to be alive. I don't want to put anything off. We can just have my brothers stay at the castle for an extra year its its ok with mom and dad." They nodded. "OK then its settled. When I move into the castle the boys will stay for a year. Oh and let your parents and siblings know they will have an extra one living at the castle. An Ayakashi. Half demon and half human ok?" "I will let them know. They have always wanted to meet one. So they would love to meet him." "OK sounds good." "Sage and Lily." I gave them both a group hug and said, "Take care of your families, ok? I will be there when I can." They got on their horses. Leo sat on mom's horse and Tyson sat on dads. Liam had his horse and my other siblings had their horses. I watched them till they were out of site.

"Father. I'm going to miss them." "Its ok Rhylie. I will miss them too." We hugged for a good long while then I lifted my head up. "So father. Are we training tomorrow?" "Yes I talked it over with Prince. Today would be a good day to show Kion around." "OK Cool. Maybe I can get Ezra to play with us as well." "Yeah good idea. He also wanted to meet Kion's kind. He will have so much fun with him." So Kion and I decided to walk through town until we got to Ezra's house. "Wow this town is amazing." Said Kion. "I know right? I said the same thing. OK here is Ezra's house." I knocked on the door. (Knock Knock) His father Bane answered. "Oh hello Rhylie." "Hi is Ezra home?" "Yes come on in. He is in his room right now." "I brought a friend with me is that ok?" "Yeah sure." "Come on. Its ok." We sat on the couch and introduced him. "This Is Kion. He is an ayakashi. He is half demon and half human. He lost his family. He is the only survivor. I am going to take him in and be his guardian. I have known his since childhood." "Nice to meet you Kion. My name is Bane." "Nice to meet you too." Said Kion. Then Ezra came out and saw us.

"Hey Ezra. I brought a friend who I am going to watch over from now on. He is an ayakashi." "No way! Seriously?! Awesome! What kind are you?!" "Woah there easy. He lost his whole family so he is a little shy of people right now." "Oh sorry." "What's your name?" "My name is Kion." He held on to Rhylie. "Its ok Ezra won't hurt you. He is excited." "I am half demon and half human." "Oh that's pretty cool. Your golden eyes are cool as well." "Thank you." "Ezra today I have the day off so do you want to hang out in the forest again?" "Yeah sure. Lets go."
