Chapter 12: Surprise visitors

"Well young lady would you like a tour of this place today?" "Actually sir. Maybe some other time. I have things to do on the surface. Next time I come I hope to bring my fiancé and my brothers along." "Oh you are engaged. Congratulations." "Thank you everyone. His name Is Liam." Everyone went quiet. "You mean Prince Liam Right? The one with the different colored eyes?" "Yes is that a problem?" "No absolutely not. He is famous around the forest. I have never met him but some of us have. Lucky bastards." "Hehe. Well I will be sure to bring him when I take the tour. When I was 3 years old I was found in the forest. The king and queen of the forest took me in. When I was 5 years old they had twin boys Leo and Tyson. They are 11 years old. Energetic brothers. I can barely keep up." "Haha. Well then. We would love to meet them someday." Then we visited awhile and it was time to head up. Its almost time for the spell to wear of. "Well it was nice meeting you all. You sea dragons are all beautiful like a rainbow. I hope to see you guys again." "You are welcome anytime princess. If you ever need our help we will help you." "Thank you Sir." "Ok Rhylie ready?" "Yes sir. Lets go." So I held on tight to Sea and very fast came up. Then I started panting. "Ha…ha.. Ha…Ha…" "You ok there Rhylie?" "Yes I'm fine. Thank you Sea. This was the best gift from you all I could ever have." "Aww you are too kind princess." "Hehe." "OK lets get you back. You need to get home and get warm before you get sick." "I will."

He hurried back and we made it back to Prince and Ezra. I waved to them and they waved back. "Hey guys I'm back." I got off of Sea and said, "Thank you sea. As a treat would you like to hear me sing a happy song to brighten up the forest?" "Sure I'm in no hurry." I just started singing the song of healing in the English version.

After awhile I finally finished. Then I looked at Sea. "That was very beautiful princess. Thank you for the treat. Maybe next time I can bring the others over here and have them listen." "Yes I would be happy to sing for all of you." "OK you should get home and warm ok?" "Yes sea. Thank you for the ride and having me meet the others." "No problem. Any time." I smiled at him and he dove down to go back home. I looked at Ezra and hugged him without thinking. "Oh sorry I got you all wet." "Oh don't worry about it. Thanks for the hug." "Oh of course Thank you for making one of my wishes come true." We headed back and I started sneezing. "Achoo! Achoo!" "Oh dear. Your starting to get sick. Hop on me Rhylie." Said Prince. "O-Ok." I hoped on Prince and layed down on the horse part of him to get warmer. We finally made it to the village and I went to my room to change and take a warm bath. When I got out I still didn't feel right. I was well enough to get dressed but after I didn't even make it to my bed to rest. I collapse and closed my eyes. She had passed out.

Prince was starting to get worried so he went to Rhylie's door and knocked on it.

(Knock Knock) "Rhylie its me Prince. Are you ok?" He knocked once more. (Knock Knock) "OK I'm coming in." He looked around the room then saw Rhylie on the ground. "Rhylie! Hey Rhylie! Are you ok?!" "Hmm. Ha….Ha….Ha…." He felt her head and she had a pretty bad fever. "I'm going to bring a healer here. Let me get you on the bed first." He got her on the bed and covered her up. Then he left for a healer.

"Hey Healer. Rhylie has a fever. She is at my place." "Ok lets go." The healer followed Prince to his house. "She's in here. Oh no she is pale now. This was worse they when I saw her last." "She is freezing. No wonder she looks like this. Hang on I has a heating blanket in my bag." He took out the blanket and put it on her. She jumped a little because it scared her for a minute. Rhylie woke up. "Prince? Is that you?" "Yes its me. Your going to be ok if you can get warmed up." "This blanket is warm enough. I should be ok in the morning. I'm strong." "I know you are strong. Doc she's going to be ok right?" "Yes like she said, she is strong. Let me know if anything changes ok?" "Yes doc I will." Once the healer left Prince said, "You feel like eating anything right now?" "No I just want to sleep." "Ok but you will have to eat something for dinner later ok? Whether you want to or not." She nodded then closed her eyes.

That night it was time for dinner. Prince made some porridge for Rhylie. He went to her room and knocked on the door. (Knock Knock.) "Come in Prince." He walked in and saw Rhylie sitting up. "How you feeling?" "Like something hard hit my head." "Can you eat by yourself of have me feed you?" "I'll eat myself." He gave me the food on the tray and I picked up the spoon and ate a few bites and I was done. "I'm done. I can't eat anymore." "OK eat more when your better ok? Worst part of this is going to be at night. I will be here ok?" "Yeah where is dad?" "Oh he will be here shortly." I laid back down and continued to talk with Prince until I saw father come in. "Ok I will let you two talk I have some things to attend to." "Bye Prince be careful out there." "Always am." I smiled at him and he smiled back and he left. "Hey dad." "How you feeling Rhylie?" "Like something hard hit my head. Prince told me its supposed to get worse at night." "Yes that is usually how it works. By the way when you do get better don't plan on doing anything ok? Just plan on walking around the villiage and relaxing." "Why? Is everything ok?" "Yeah everything is fine don't worry." "Ok then. You and Prince are acting suspiciously is there something I should know about?" "You will see its nothing to worry about ok?" "Ok then." I talked to my father until he told me to rest. "OK father. See you tomorrow." He nodded. Then I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

The next day it was around noon. I was walking around town just minding my own business and I heard something going on at the gate. I went over to see what was going on. I was shocked to see who it was. "Liam! Father, Mother and brothers!" I ran over to them and I gave my parents a hug then I squeezed my brothers to death. "Sister we can't breathe." "I don't care I want to love you to death. Ok I will let you breathe now. Hehe." "So how have you all been? I've been missing you a lot." "Yeah we know. Prince told us what happened." Said dad. "Oh dad this is Calder my Birth father. These are my blood siblings Sage and Lily." "Its nice you meet you highness' and majesties." "Nice you finally meet you all as well." Said mother. Then father said, "Thank you for taking in my little girl." "Oh no problem we couldn't leave a little girl on her own like that." Said mother. "Hey sis? Are you coming back home or are you going to live with them now?" Said Tyson. "Oh Tyson don't worry. I still have a few years yet. I won't be getting married until I am at least 18 I got two more years. Don't worry. I will come back." There was relief in all of their faces. "Why would you think I would ever leave you? Even though I met my biological family they are still strangers to me. I wouldn't live with strangers. Come here boys." I gave them both a hug and squeezed them. "I'm glad you are all here." I went over and hugged Liam as well. "I missed you too Rhylie." Then I let go and said, "So where are all of you staying? How long?" "Oh my father is paying for them to stay for 4 days then they have to head back." Said Prince. "They are staying in a hotel." "OK cool. Since you guys just got here, I will show you something cool tomorrow in the forest. It's a surprise." "OK Rhylie. Calm down." Said father. "I promise prince I won't ride on it ok? At least not tomorrow or when at least you aren't there ok?" "You better not." It was a nice day today so I helped them to their hotel room and we went to the park and sat down to visit. "So boys. How are your pets?" "Oh Ash is still Ash. He is still a pain." Said Leo. "Tyson how is your Nyx?" He is fine. He is actually fun to play with. He keeps me company a lot almost like a familiar who can't leave your side." "Hehe is that so?" "Yeah. You know Your birthday is next month." "Oh Crap. So I only have that year to spend with you guys. I forgot I'm sorry." "Its ok Rhylie. We can put off the wedding if you need too." Said Liam. "Don't worry I'm sure everything will be fine." Said Rhylie. I will get this thing done so I can get back home to you boys and parents." "How is everything at the fire palace Liam?" "Oh everything is fine. The only new thing is that my older sister is pregnant. She is 2 weeks." "Oh I am so happy for her. Tell her I said Congrats." "Haha I will." Then we visited awhile longer then it was time for everyone to head to their destinations to rest.

The next day it was around noon. "Hey Prince! Everyone is here!" "Ok coming!" Prince came out and we headed towards the forest. Calder my father and my siblings Sage and Lily came too. As well as the family who took me in.

"OK we are at the lake." Said Prince. "Call Sea for me." "OK then." He did the same whistle as last time and I saw him coming. "Hello Sea." "Oh Rhylie nice to see you again." "Nice to see you too. Some of the royalty I told you about are here. This is my father Calder. My siblings Sage and Lily." "Nice to finally meet some survivors of Royalty." "Oh and this is the family and took me in. The queen my mother. King my father and my little brothers. Leo and Tyson." "Nice to meet you all as well." "Hey Sea? Can any one of your kind talk so people can understand you?" "There a few you can my father is one of them." "Ok I have an idea. Since we are all here why don't you bring everyone here? I can also put on a performance for you all." "That would be good I will be right back. I have to talk to father." "OK hurry back." He dove down back home. "I got to ride him. He is really fast. He said he can go faster underwater. I was too scared to find out. But on top of the water he is pretty fast. Any faster I would have died." I joked. "Haha. Said Leo. "That's funny." "So Liam. They said that you were famous in this forest. Only a few sea dragons met you." He scratched his head embarrassed. "Hehe. Is it that embarrassing?" "Well no. Just them making me out to be famous is. Every once in awhile I come to check out the forest when I have business here at the centaur village. I do what I can to help. All I did was help them out with the lake. There was a certain animal that lost its way and was making it hard for the other animals to survive. I dove down to see what was going on. Luckily I met a Sea dragon who could understand me. He put a spell so I can breathe I was already able to see. I found out where the darkness was coming from and it was scared at first so it attacked me. I got seriously hurt but I still got it back home. Something was blocking its way and some other Sea dragons helped me out and we got it back out and the creature swam away. The spell was going away to where I can't breathe anymore. The Elder who was the one who spoke to me. Knew It was beyond him. I was able to keep my eyes open for just a few minutes more and could have sworn he turned human and got me help." "Wait they can turn human? I never knew they could." "I never have either." Said Prince. "I want to talk to them when they get here." I said.

I heard something. Then I saw a bunch of Sea dragons swimming over. "We are here Rhylie." Said Sea. "Father here they are." "Hello Sir nice to see you again. This is my father Calder and my siblings Sage and Lily. They are the survivors from the castle." Then he spoke in a voice everyone could understand. "Well nice to meet the survivors from the Flower castle." Then I introduced my little brothers and my parents to them as well. They were happy to meet them. "Liam I am glad you survived." "Thank you sir." "Wait you mean this is Prince Liam?" "Yeah I am." "Nice to finally meet you. Your highness." Said Sea. Then I translated what Sea said. "Enough with the formalities you all saved me." "Well you saved us. Prince Liam. " Said the elder. "Liam? Why don't you ask them the question. You saw it after all." "Good Idea. Thanks." "Sir? That day you saved me. Did you turn human? Can all of the sea dragons do it?" "(Sigh) Yes its true I can. Only those who come of age can turn human. Then they can do it through the rest of their lives if they wanted." Then Liam went quiet and I said, "Can anyone who turns human talk so us humans can understand?" "Yes as long as they are in human form they can speak it. Others wise its just gibberish to those who can't understand animals." "If Its not too much trouble can I see some of you in your human forms? Only if you're comfortable. I won't force you." Sea, his father and some others came to shore and immediately turned human and somehow already clothed thank God. "Wow all of you are pretty handsome and beautiful. Your hair and eyes match the color of your sea dragon form. By the way Sea. You don't look much older than Liam and I." "I am 20 years old. I just turned it last month. "Oh no wonder. My little brothers had to remind me of mine I totally spaced. Its too bad they won't be here for it but that's ok. My 17th birthday is next month." "Oh when is it? Where is it? We can be there in our human forms." "Like I said I forgot about it. I don't know. I'm sure there will be a surprise party going on. I just hope its here so if you need to get in the water you can." "Oh well that's thoughtful." "Oh yeah I wanted to sing for all of you next time I came. Oh I know. I will sing the song of water. I will put on a water show." ( I do not own the song. After awhile I was finally done with my water show and felt sick. I started coughing I held on the tree. I noticed I coughed up blood. I covered it with leaves so no one saw. Or at least I didn't think. I went back and saw worried faces. "I'm fine. I just had a little cold. I didn't quite get fully recovered yet. I'll be fine lets stay here and visit for a bit." "OK but only for a few minutes. You need some rest Rhylie." "Yeah I know Prince and father." So we visited a bit until it was time to go. "Well it was nice seeing you all again and really nice seing your human forms. By the way Elder. You look so young. Forgive me for asking If its not a problem. How old are you?" "How old do you think I am?" "Somewhere in your 30's" "You are right young lady. I had him really young. I was 17 when I had him. About the age you will be turning." "Oh so that would make you 37." "Yes very good math." 2 years after he was born we had another little one. Where is your brother Sea?" "Oh I will go get him be right back." "Yes father. You called. Oh hello Princess nice to meet you. You too. Your name is?" "Oh sorry my name is Cove." "Nice to meet you cove. You must just be turning 18 or already turned it." "I will be turning 18 in a few months Yes." "Well I would like to celebrate with you if I can. I would like to celebrate anyone who has a birthday here. I want to see how you celebrate birthdays. "Sure no problem. It's the end of the month. The 20 in exactly 2 months from today actually." "Oh cool. Well I will be here." Then they all left and everyone went to their hotel or houses so I can sleep.
