Gasping for air, Xavier's mind was reeling as he questioned, "Is this a dream? Everything feels so real. Why am I so exhausted?" The shadow glared at him in irritation.
The shadow was clearly unimpressed by Xavier's naive inquiries, and his frustration was evident.
Xavier shivered, "How did I end up here?" His body tensed with fear. Despite his vulnerability, Xavier's courage was not to be underestimated.
The shadow stared at Xavier, grinding its gaze on him.
"Hey Chainy, is there a way out of here? Is this real or just a dream?" Xavier inquired.
No response came, no sound echoed. It was then that he realized he was alone in this, facing the shadowy figure. He cursed himself before bowing his head in resignation.
"Don't you dare lower your head. You're bringing shame upon me. How did you come to possess that sword?" The shadow inquired, his expression devoid of emotion as he gazed at Xavier.
