Even if Lyn is unwilling, she had to grit her teeth and step forward. A straight beaming light appeared in front of her. The height is right on her waist. As if it was a boundary line stopping her from stepping another foot forward.

"That's the starting line. Now mortal, turn your gaze towards the orb."

Lyn has no choice but to follow what he said. Just a few seconds of holding her gaze in the orb, the Master Alpha sneakily laughed.

"How silly of me. I actually forgot one other important thing. You see, my pet here is hungry. Of course, no master will ignore if their pets are hungry right? And since all you humans are very obedient, especially Lyn here, I will give the first human player a reward. However, if some of you do not know how to play, I will kindly keep them here with my pet and explore the wonders of the monopoly game forever."

The meaning could not get any more confusing.

Cayden narrowed his eyes. The information the Drifter's Clock provided him has not yet proven to be of use. Because even though he knew where are these specific squares are, in the end, the one deciding and providing the numbers is the orb, and not the dice.

Cayden highly doubt if there will be a fair play in this game.

A single beep resounded in the wide open area. With a pop, the question appeared out of thin air, floating right above the orb.

"A branded high heeled shoe or a comfortable sneaker. Which will you choose?"

Lyn: "........"

Everyone: "..."

It was like someone just dump a pail of cold water on their heads.

What type of question was that?! Are you mocking us?!

The Master Alpha was laughing at their expressions. Staring greedily at their surprised faces, as if he was looking forward to seeing those expressions.

It took a few seconds before Lyn composed herself. She did not ponder too much on the question and just blurted out what the first thing that come up in her mind.

"Comfortable sneaker."

The question disappeared, then it flashes purple light for three times before a number appeared above.

Lyn glanced at the fifth square. She paused, took a deep breath before stepping forward and cross the border line.

When her feet landed on the first square, she immediately sprinted towards the fifth square, as if something was chasing her.

She landed smoothly on the fifth square, and the glowing sides of the square turned white. Everyone waited for a while, wanting to see what the square is. However, nothing happened.

"Congratulations human, the fifth square is a blank one."

Lyn collapsed in the ground, sighing with relief. She let out a small smile as she crouched down.

The second was the fat man. He gulped nervously as he step forward, staring intently at the orb that flashed another question before him.

"Live in the desert for ten days or live in the snowy mountain for ten days. Which will you choose?"

Again, another random pointless question.

The fat man cleared his throat before saying loudly, "Snowy mountain!" Then he clasped his both hands on his chest and murmured repeatedly, "5…Give me 5. I don't want punishment."

Another flash came out from the orb then the number that appeared is 3.

The fat man visibly stiffened. His broad shoulders rose and fell after he took a few deep breaths. The fat man took his time trying to calm himself that the Master Alpha grew impatient waiting for him.

"Won't you come forward?"

"Co - coming!" The fat man jogged to the third square.

The color white blink before it changes into yellow.

[Congratulations! The reward square has been triggered and one of the Snake beasts kin plump ripe magic apple has been obtained. This reward can significantly increase the strength and speed of the invidual. However, it can't be brought out of the game."

The fat man looked very surprised at the twice as big as the normal apple in his hand. He stared at the prompt floating in the air, and he can still seem to hear the automated voice echoing in his mind.

Probably because of nervousness, it did not sink into his mind completely. And when it did, he happily gobble it down in one go. A rish and sweet smell spread around the entire arena. The other challengers could not help but glance at the fat man's direction and watch with envy.

They want that juicy apple too!

The third person came forward next and his question is also random.

"A vegetable dish or a dish full of meat. Which one will you choose?"

The third person is a man with slender body. He does not have much presence since the beginning of the instance. There was a pause for a few seconds before the man's nervous voice uttered, "Vegetable dish,"

The orb then gave him 6.

After 20 minutes, fifteen people had rolled the dice. The squares are big enough to accommodate four people standing side by side. There are three people on the fifth, two people on the sixth, four people on the fourth, another four people on the second and two people on the third.

The sixteenth person just landed on the sixth. When it was Pete's turn, the question asked is apparently different from the rest.

The first question is about likes for things, while the second question is weather preferences, third is about food tastes. Cayden remembered each and every question and it only revolve to these three categories.

However, Pete's question is "Your bestfriend or your girlfriend. Which one will you choose?"

Cayden's eyes raised at the question. Now that it was the turn of the second to the last person, the category of the question has changed?

Pete answer without any hesitation. "Bestfriend."

He doesn't have a girlfriend. So why choose for someone not there when his bestfriend is standing behind him?
