Chapter 4: Fall of The Heroes

Grim was about to draw his sword, but his hand trembled slightly, Grim thought to himself:

"What the hell is this? This feeling."

Grim put all his strength and drew his sword, he pointed the blade at the enemy and said arrogantly:

"So you're a Grand General right? I thought you'd look bigger and more muscular than them so I'm a bit disappointed."

Owl looked at his slain generals and said calmly:

"You killed them, didn't you? At least they died honorably, bravely and without fear."

Grim replied with a slight sarcasm:

"Yeah, it's true that they fought well but still died from my smoke."

Owl said:

"You used elementalism to defeat them? Do you have no honor in fighting non-elemental warriors?"

Grim replied:

"It's their fault that they're too weak to call themselves generals and don't even have Elemental Spirits. I only do my job to fight and win."

Owl said:

"Do you know what honor is in battle?"

Grim replied:

"I don't know what's the honor or reason to fight? But I know what I'm fighting for is to protect this place, where I and my people will build a new prosperous kingdom."

Owl said:

"Sounds stupid for someone as arrogant as you to think like that."

Grim replied:

"Despite your opinion, shall we begin?"

Owl said:

"Show me your power and honor."

Grim withdrew his hand and prepared his sword to slash. Owl knelt down on one knee and put his hand on the hilt of Fallen Katana Ronin (it was a katana with a thin but sharp gray blade, on the blade there was a red temper line in the shape of a flame, the guard was in the shape of a cherry blossom, the hilt tied with red threads). Grim and Owl focused on their opponents and their hands were glued to the sword handle. A gust of wind passed, and the two immediately rushed forward. Both incense quickly swung their swords at each other and parried the slash. They then immediately turned around and swung their swords signaling a fierce battle between the two swordsmen. Belle met Xanuguis, she took out a magnet and sucked all the mechanical parts of the three generals. Belle said with curiosity:

"What are you doing?"

Xanuguis replied:

"Can't you see? I'm taking my technology back, I won't let anyone see or use it but me."

Belle said:

"Do you not feel pity for your generals?"

Xanuguis replied:

"Why? I gave them my technology, if they fail then I have the right to destroy them."

Xanuguis after taking everything she needed, she turned to leave. Belle hastily said:

"Hey, wait! Have you forgotten me?"

Xanuguis turned her head to look at Belle and replied:

"I have no interest in fighting you."

Belle said:

"Why?"

Xanuguis replied:

"I despise all magic users like you, who cling to the power of the past without knowing that technology and machines are the new future. Like I said, you will die at the start of the battle."

Belle said:

"But I will survive, maybe technology is the future but how technology is used will determine the future. I don't want to use technology for evil things like you."

Xanuguis laughed and replied with irony to Belle:

"Oh little girl, you don't know what technology is."

Belle and Xanuguis looked at each other, both preparing a quick attack. Belle immediately launched a light beam at Xanuguis and Xanuguis fired electricity at Belle. The battle between magic and technology began. Lamalia and Jean went to the city center. Lamalia said with caution:

"Is this place big enough for you?"

Jean replied:

"Enough. Looks like this place is good for vibrations from us."

Lamalia said:

"May I ask, who are you fighting in this battle for?"

Jean replied:

"For our emperor, of course. I dedicate all my loyalty to helping him conquer many kingdoms. And this continent will only be a small part of that."

Lamalia said:

"Ha, it doesn't seem to be able to convince you to stop this battle."

Jean replied with confusion:

"Why should we stop this battle?"

Lamalia said:

"Because I don't want your loyalty to die after I defeat you."

Jean smiled grimly and replied angrily:

"Pretty confident. So what are you fighting for?"

Lamalia replied:

"For freedom and to protect the Highland Continent."

Jean said:

"Like so many ridiculous excuses from the people I've killed before. What they all have in common is that they all died after saying those things."

Lamalia replied:

"So let's get started."

Lamalia summoned Strike claws and Jean summoned the Glorious Mace Emperor (it was a mace with a metal head with eight square triangles surrounding it for powerful smashing, a short but comfortable handle with fire motifs on it). Lamalia and Jean's head-to-head battle to see who is the most resilient began. Julia looked at Zilan standing on the roof, she was checking the wind and said:

"Hmm, looks like the wind direction is good today even though a lot of zeppelins are changing direction. Looks like we'll have a perfect shot."

Julia replied:

"Yeah, I hope so."

Zilan sat on the roof and said:

"Well, here it is. I'm in a high position and you're down there. Are you sure you can dodge all of my shots?"

Julia immediately summoned thorny vines whips and launched it onto the roof to pull her on top of it. Julia said:

"Yeah, I can."

Zilan looked at Julia's weapon and replied:

"You have a lot of special weapons on you, and your plan at that time was also very clever. Lure them to that house, when they were firing you immediately jumped over the roof opposite.

With your speed they're hard to spot. Then you immediately launch a surprise attack while they're reloading."

Julia said:

"That's commendable, but I don't think you'll stand a chance against me with a gun either."

Zilan then immediately ran away to Julia's confusion. But then Julia chased after Zilan too. Julia and Zilan started fighting to compare their speeds. Elastor was blocked by Bahamat, he said:

"Do you mind making way for me?"

Bahamat replied:

"But you're going in the direction I want to go, so no."

Elastor said:

"Fine, I'll go around you."

Bahamat replied:

"But I don't want you to leave because I want to see what your strength is. You are the most destructive in the battlefield but I don't think you will be that strong."

Elastor said:

"Then why should we start, I want to confront someone stronger than you."

Bahamat was pissed off, he summoned Runes Gauntlets Heaven (it was gauntlets with metal rings that can be rotated on the arms to increase punching power, on the rings engraved with ancient Runes like spells). Bahamat said arrogantly:

"I always want to fight to find the most worthy opponent, I hope you don't let me down."

Elastor replied confidently:

"Then I'll save you from finding new ones."

Elastor and Bahamat didn't need much introduction but immediately jumped into battle. After a while Alata approached Grand General Onias Elan, he looked like a boy about seventeen years old like Alata and he was blind with a blindfold. But Onias was still painting like a true painter. Alata said:

"Are you a Grand General?"

Onias looked towards Alata and replied:

"Oh, did you find me through my riddle?"

Alata said:

"Because near where the sun is shining is in the Sandx kingdom because that's where the sun always shines. Mountains and forests can be Newlaphaine kingdom or Gloria kingdom. The weather is very cool, the weather in Newlaphaine kingdom is hotter with Gloria kingdom so the answer is here."

Onias smiled happily and replied:

"Hooray, congrats, you're right. It's boring, I'm really bad at making puzzles. But what did you meet me for anyway?"

Onias continued to paint, his special weapon was Vision Painting Stand, Palette And Brushes Hermes. A painting stand that had cosmic colors and infinite paper, a self-created palette of unlimited colors and brushes that could draw on Onias's mind. Alata said:

"You're blind, but how can you draw?"

Onias replied:

"Art does not need to be touched, seen, smelled, heard. It is the feeling of the heart, every work is the heart of the artist to create it. Only when art touches the hearts of others, is it truly art. I can't see anything, but I have the heart to draw it."

Having said that, Onias finished drawing the clearest diagram of all the kingdoms, all the details inside were drawn. Onias sensed the mysterious tunnel of the four kingdoms and excitedly said:

The Imaginations was Onias's Elemental Spirit, it was a very large swarm of fireflies and was responsible for guiding, marking locations for Onias for him to draw and surprise attacks. The element of The Imaginations was color, each color in the firefly group will have its own task. Blue, yellow and green to mark positions, white to guide and red to mass attack enemies. Alata immediately rushed to attack Onias and said:

"I won't let you do that."

Suddenly Onias opened the paper behind which was the drawing of all Crusadia team members, he chose Alata's drawing. Onias said excitedly:

"Let's draw."

Alata and Onias fought each other. Rhohan met Exos again after ten years, Rhohan said calmly:

"Exos, it's not surprising that I never believed you would die after a storm."

Exos replied calmly:

"Don't say much, I won't let you pass."

Rhohan said:

"I understand you Exos, you have never lied or deceived yourself. I just didn't expect your betrayal to the empire."

Exos replied:

"I hate the Kraton Empire, so I never wanted to go back there. I know what you want so I'll stop you from doing it."

Rhohan's knight stepped out, he was his son, Melik Restruction. Melik drew his sword and said arrogantly:

"You don't need to say much. I'll deal with that traitor right away."

Melik immediately rushed to attack Exos. Rhohan hastily said:

"Son, don't."

Moon halberd has lit up the white of the moon. Melik raised his sword to slash down, but Exos only took a slight step forward and slashed. The blade of the Moon halberd dropped a very small drop of blood, and Melik was instantly cut in two and died. Exos raised the Moon halberd after killing Melik and said:

"Your son has always been so arrogant and reckless."

Rhohan replied:

"That's right, even though it has my genes, it can't be a strong knight."

Rhohan summoned Destruction Sword Chaos (It was a sword with two parallel black blades, the guard was made of black crystal pieces together). Rhohan released an aura of darkness over a wide area, the surrounding houses and castle wall collapsing before him. The impact of Rhohan's power was so terrible, Eva was the possessor of the purest sunlight, but she vomited when she felt it. Eva thought to herself:

"This darkness is not the same as Zed's nightmarish darkness, this darkness is the darkness of pure power and fear."

Exos also sensed it, but he was still strangely calm. Exos whispered:

"The Sins, it's time."

The Sins replied:

"The true power of the moon, Moon Light Knight."

Exos knocked the Moon halberd to the ground, The Sins flew out and merged with him. Exos had put on light armor, then a cloak wrapped around his waist covering his right leg. Two floating cloths were wrapped around the shoulders and the cloth on the left shoulder stretched out a long robe. Two arm armor mounted on crescent moon darts and two blades behind the hand. Exos's chest armor showed a bright white crescent moon. Exos pulled his hood over his face and the Space halberd transformed into the Century Greatword Legacy (It was greatsword with a long, thin blade and emitting the white light of the moon the guard shaped of a moon with blue cloud as sword cross like the cloud covering the moon and it had a long grip for powerful swings). Exos became the Moon Light Knight, the most powerful form of Exos, but he had to sacrifice two years to this dangerous form. Exos released the lunar aura around and repelled the dark aura for a more balanced confrontation with Rhohan. The area around him was surprisingly bright. Emanda and Laura sensed that two huge sources of power were in a terrible confrontation with each other, they were in conflict like enemies and constantly increased to overwhelm the other. Laura thought to Exos:

"Exos, please survive."

The two most powerful warriors on both sides started this battle. After a year of training to the death of Crusadia team members, they had become very powerful compared to the year before. Eva, Elastor and Belle were even able to match Urizen but this was still not enough to be able to compete with the Grand Generals. Grim and Owl darted past and turned to slash at you. Their blades clashed and Grim pulled the blade down sharply. Owl took a step back and swung his sword quickly at Grim. Grim immediately parried and spun to swing a slash at Owl's stomach. Owl dodged and swung his sword at Grim. Grim quickly blocked the slash but Owl pressed him down even harder. Grim jumped up and pushed Owl away to get out of the way. Grim lunged forward and slashed wildly at Owl. Owl moved lightly to dodge and parried the slashes. Grim was's attack was wild and powerful, while Owl's was slow and fluid. Grim stabbed Owl in the head but he dodged it in time. Owl immediately thrust up into Grim's chest but he immediately swung his sword down to block it. Grim pinned down Owl's sword and quickly hit Owl's cheek with his elbow. Owl was slightly stunned and backed down, but Grim immediately charged forward to attack again. Grim delivered a quick slash, but Owl dodged it. Grim swung another slash from the top but Owl moved slightly to dodge. Owl quickly sheathed his sword and when Grim jumped up to swing his sword down. Owl immediately drew his sword quickly into the blade of the Hollow sword. The speed at which the sword was drawn was so fast that when the two blades touched it created a force that pushed Grim away and caused his hand to shake slightly. Grim stepped back and thought to himself:

"Grrr, he looks like he's really powerful. But this makes me go crazy with excitement."

Owl thought to himself:

"He has almost no skills, it's all fast and powerful slashes and no plan. He's really only interested in slashing and fighting."

Owl sheathed sword and said:

"The Time!"

The Time was summoned out, it was an eagle with crimson tail feathers and wing feathers, its elemental was blood. The Time flew around and landed on Owl's shoulder, he said:

"Kill him in disgrace."

The Time flew up and down to merge with Ronin Katana to form the Sacrifice Katana (it was a Katana with its blood-red blade, longer hilt and guard with eagle wings stretching out behind). Owl drew his sword lightly and said:

"Blood Slash."

Owl cut his hand and rubbed blood on the blade. The sword glowed blood red with the smell of death emanating from it. Owl sheathed drew back and knelt down on one knee. He clenched his scabbard, preparing to deliver a powerful slash. Grim didn't understand what Owl was doing but he also summoned the Soulless sword. Grim also knelt down on one knee to gain momentum for a long throw. Grim drags his sword back to quickly deliver a quick slash. Both opponents looked at each other silently. No one wanted to strike first. A slow breeze passed before them again. Their eyes were sharper and immediately shot at each other in a flash. Grim immediately swung his sword quickly and just as the Owl waited to get closer and immediately drew his sword quickly and delivered an even closer slash at Grim. Owl and Grim passed each other, they were both silent for a moment. It was a moment so fast and instantaneous that no one could see what had happened. Then suddenly Grim was the one lying down. His left arm was cut off by the Owl and fell behind him. The slash on his left shoulder was bleeding all over the ground and onto Grim's face. Owl drew his sword and The Time withdrew. Owl stepped closer to Grim, who was now unconscious from his wound and his eyes open as he passed out. His eyes were very deep from shock and surprise. Owl just quietly took his blood to draw a circle of blood around Grim. He then took a torch and burned Grim's wound to stop the bleeding. Then Owl left, dragging a cart to bring back the bodies of his three generals, then calmly said:

"You must be alive, so that this disgrace you must remember forever. If you are alive, the next time you see me, you need to find a reason for yourself."

Owl left leaving behind a defeated Grim in humiliation, anger, and weakness. On Belle's side, she was hiding behind a wall in front of Xanuguis's energy beams. Xanuguis's Beams did not require elemental energy but from a big battery behind her back that was attached directly to her bones. Belle released the elemental aura and thought to herself:

"I'll have to wait until she gets too hot."

The walls were gradually cut apart by lasers from Xanuguis's four robotic arms. But just as Belle had thought, Xanuguis's four laser guns had overheated. Belle immediately ran over and fired three light orbs at her. Belle rushed up the wooden steps to the treehouse, but Xanuguis quickly switched the four machine arms to machine guns and fired repeatedly at Belle. Belle ran faster, she screamed:

"How the hell does she have a bunch of weird weapons like that?"

Belle tried to shoot back at Xanuguis but she had an energy shield covering her body against magic. Belle shouted:

"Oh come on!"

Tree houses were severely damaged, wood, branches and leaves fell. Belle thought to herself:

"Oh Mother Nature, I'm sorry."

Belle quickly jumped down and caught a vine to swing over to the other side. She launched a fireball at Xanuguis and it exploded in front of her, shutting off the energy shield. Xanuguis was angry because her machinery broke down, she said:

"Spoiled girl, dare to spoil my children?"

Belle continued swinging around and launched explosive fireballs at Xanuguis. Xanuguis opened fire everywhere, but couldn't hit Belle and was attacked by her repeatedly. Xanuguis turned the top right robotic arm into a sniper rifle, she placed the gun on her shoulder and activated the auto-aiming mode of the right machine eye. Xanuguis then activated the 3D imaging machine to create virtual images of her. But Belle soon activated "Eyes of Energy" to locate Xanuguis and launch an invisible beam of air at her. But at the same time the auto-aiming system aimed at Belle and immediately fired a quick bullet at her. The bullet was coated with magic-resistant dust and cut Belle's air beam in half. Belle quickly turned around to dodge, but the bullet hit her left shoulder causing Belle to fall to the ground. Belle landed hard on the ground and hurt her right shoulder. Xanuguis instantly turned her left mechanical arm into a hypersonic gun and fired a wave at Belle. Belle hastily created an energy shield on her left hand to shield it, but the wave blew away the energy shield and sent her back. Belle lay on the ground and raised her head to watch Xanuguis prepare to fire another wave. But Belle immediately hurled the electric whip on her wand at a large tree branch above Xanuguis's head and broke it and smashed it at her. Xanuguis was pushed back and her machine malfunctioned. The technology screen in Xanuguis's eyes was faulty, making it difficult for her to see anything. Belle quickly stood up and started shooting light orbs that repeatedly hit Xanuguis. While those attacks didn't do any damage to Xanuguis's machine, it was able to repel and stun her. Belle spun around and quickly launched three fire, lightning, and water orbs that hit Xanuguis, causing her machinery to fail even more. Xanuguis was pissed off, she said:

"The Evolution!"

Belle thought in confusion:

"What? She also has an Elemental Spirit?"

The Evolution was summoned, it was a Psychic Elemental Spirit and is a nine-tailed fox. The Evolution immediately activated its ability, its nine tails standing up and lifting Belle in mid-air. Belle tried to shoot beams at The Evolution but it used psychic waves to deflect the beams. Xanuguis started the self-repair system in time, the roof arms turned into tools, and quickly repaired her power battery. At this time, the Newlaphaine and Lanxter armies were under heavy attack forcing them to retreat, the giant white butterflies were killed so much that they flew back to the mountains to hide. While Emanda was hastily evacuating everyone to the secret tunnel, and told the wizards and witches to collect all the spellbooks in the village. She saw that Belle was at a disadvantage and immediately ran to it. Emanda said in concern:

"Belle, I told you not to try to confront them."

Xanuguis finished repairing the machine, she said:

"Looks like this is the end of you."

Xanuguis raised her left arm into a beam gun, she concentrated a lot of energy and created an energy orb on the barrel. The mechanical arms also channel energy into the orb so that it can unleash a devastating shot. Belle rushed to shoot at Xanuguis but was stopped by The Evolution. Xanuguis smiled scornfully at Belle and said arrogantly:

"Like I said, magic can never win against machines."

Xanuguis fired a massive destructive beam at Belle. Belle hastily created a huge energy shield and lunged forward to block it, but the beam's force destroyed it. Belle thought as death approached:

"I won't be scared, not now!"

Suddenly Emanda lunged in front of Belle and quickly created a larger energy shield and blocked the destructive beam. Belle said in a panic:

"Master, No!"

Emanda failed to block, the beam of destruction shot through and hit both Emanda and Belle and sent them crashing into the castle. Xanuguis paused and then said with sarcasm:

"Hmm, you tried, but it's hopeless."

There was a zeppelin that landed and Xanuguis went up and flew away leaving Belle and Emanda. Belle opened her eyes and woke up to find Emanda lying on top of her with her body charred black. Emanda took all the destructive attacks to save Belle. Belle rushed to help Emanda and said:

"Master Emanda, Master Emanda. Please open your eyes."

Emanda opened her mouth and she breathed out stars, which infused Belle to heal and give her power. Emanda said for the last time:

"Protect the legacy of our wizard ancestors, those spellbooks. Now you are... the last High Wizard."

Emanda then turned to ashes and vanished in Belle's arms. Belle burst into tears, she cried out in pain at Emanda's death. Now Belle became the leader of both elves, wizards and witches. Belle has suffered so much already, having a lousy and greedy father, the sacrifice of her beloved mother, the sacrifice of Annabelle, her most loyal friend and now the sacrifice of the teacher who taught her from the beginning. Belle lost to Xanuguis. The battle between Lamalia and Jean took place somewhat quickly, not because Lamalia was weak but because Jean was too powerful. Jean swung her mace and slammed it down on Lamalia, but she dodged it in time. Lamalia quickly scratched Jean's hips and back but her armor was very thick. Jean immediately swung her mace towards Lamalia but she blocked it with her right hand claw but was pushed back down. Jean quickly lunged forward and swung her mace across Lamalia but she stooped to dodge. Then Lamalia immediately scratched high into a gap in Jean's heavy armor, injuring her. Jean quickly kicked Lamalia back and pulled out her handcannon to fire repeatedly at Lamaia. Lamalia immediately created a stone shield to shield Jean's big bullets. Lamalia slowly approached while taking cover, the stone fragments that had been shot down were immediately reattached. Jean rushed forward and shot at Lamalia. Jean swung down her mace and broke the stone shield, but Lamalia also immediately scratched her left hand to drop the gun. Jean raised her fist and threw a punch straight at Lamalia. Lamalia also immediately threw a strong punch back. The two fists collided and pushed them away. Jean immediately rushed forward to continue the attack, so Lamalia gained momentum and sped faster. Lamalia continuously shoots away and quickly attacks Jean, she attacks the cracks in Jean's armor to let them fall. Jean tried to swing her mace at Lamalia but couldn't. All of Jean's heavy armor fell, she was so angry that she swung her mace so hard on the ground that Lamalia tripped and fell. Jean shouted:

"The Glory!"

The Glory was summoned, it was a Metal Elemental Spirit and was a triceratops. Jean rode The Glory and shouted heroically:

"O My Glory, destroy all enemies in the name of the emperor."

Jean and The Glory rushed forward and rammed Lamalia. She quickly rolled to the left to dodge causing them to slide into a house. The whole house fell down after just one hit. Lamalia also shouted:

"The Rhino!"

The Rhino was summoned and Lamalia also rode it. Jean and The Glory and with Lamalia and Rhino rammed each other. They banged their heads against each other and pushed each other. Triceratops confronted the rhino, they pushed each other fiercely and determined not to give up. The Glory jerked its head up, but The Rhino dodged and it immediately rammed its horns and stabbed the triceratops in the neck and sent it slamming through the house behind. The Glory bit into The Rhino's right front leg, so it pulled out its horns and pushed it into the bony frill of its head. Then the two continued to push each other. Jean said:

"Your rhinoceros is pretty good, but how can it stand up to this?"

The Glory's whole body turned to metal and it instantly pushed harder than The Rhino. The Rhino quickly turned its body to stone to push, but it couldn't push much. The Rhino worriedly said:

"Master, I can't push it!"

Lamalia was worried and created stone walls to wrap around the sides of the body and hold The Glory's four legs, but it powerfully destroyed them all. The Glory hit The Rhino hard on the head, stunning it and breaking its horns. Then Jean and The Glory rammed Lamalia and The Rhino hard and sent them smashing through each house and eventually smashing them against the wall. Jean and The Glory stepped back to see Lamalia and The Rhino badly injured and the rhino retreating unconscious. Jean laughed and said arrogantly:

"You see, the emperor blessed me to win against you. My victory is all written down."

The Glory raised its legs high to crush Lamalia, Jean said loudly:

"Die for the emperor!"

The Glory hit her leg, but Lamalia was saved by someone in time. Jean looked around in confusion.

"Who? Who is there?"

Lamalia lost to Jean because her defense was still insufficient. To the battle between Julia and Zilan, the two ran parallel to each other, but Julia ran on the ground and Zilan ran on the roof. Julia kept throwing darts at Zilan and Zilan kept shooting at Julia. Zilan ran a little faster and jumped over the opposite roof and shot Julia in midair. Julia immediately raised the Rosing gauntlets to deflect the bullets. Then Zilan landed on the roof and continued running and shooting Julia. Julia shot her left hand whip up a chimney ahead and pulled her forward. Julia jumped in front of Zilan and launched three darts at her. Zilan immediately slid down to dodge and shot from the bottom up at Julia. Julia leaned back to dodge and immediately straightened and ran backwards. Julia slid on the roof and launched rose bombs on Zilan. The bombs exploded in front of Zilan so she jumped over to the other side of the roof, but Julia quickly launched the bombs over there. Zilan was constantly moving zigzag to dodge quickly and instantly. Zilan jumped over and mid-air, she instantly fired three bullets that hit Julia's breastplate sending her to the ground. Zilan landed on the roof over there and slid to the ground to shoot Julia. Julia immediately stood up and launched six darts at Zilan right away. Zilan ran over to dodge and she shouted:

"The History!"

The History was summoned, it was the Flash Elemental Spirit and was a cheetah. Zilan jumped to ride The History and it flashed towards Julia. Julia immediately threw her whips onto the roof and pulled them down. Julia pulled down two collapsed houses to block The History's way, but it was too fast and darted through the rubble overhead. Julia kept swinging in the middle of the road to outrun The History. But it jumped up and scratched her back. The rose bombs exploded in front of The History retreating. Julia landed on the ground and threw thorn vines up the walls and made a net of thorns. The History leapt forward, but it was repelled by the elasticity of the net.
