His fingers, firm but teasing, gripped her waist, pulling her against his body. “Do you know what happens to those who defy me, little pet?” His voice was low, dripping with dark amusement. He leaned down, his lips hovering just above hers, close enough for her to feel his breath but not close enough to touch. “They beg.”Elysia’s pulse quickened, her breath catching as her body betrayed the fear melting into something far more dangerous. Her lips parted, but no words came out. "You're mine, Elysia, I will burn the world for you." She heard him say in a low growl, making her legs tremble more.

Cave Of Darkness II

"I would have to look around to see if there is a way we can get into the cave," Rohan stated, his hand lifting to wipe the beads of sweat that had formed on his forehead.

"Very well, be careful." Lyra said to her brother to which he gave a slight nod before walking around the cave.

"What is your name?" Sevastian asked the man who was now sitting on the ground, his knees drawn to his chest.

"Talo," he muttered, his voice low. "You can call me Talo." He covered his forehead with a trembling hand, his gaze darting up to meet Sevastian's.

"Are there more people with Elias? Or are we walking into another surprise?" Sevastian questioned sharply.

Talo scoffed. "If you are smart, you will leave while you still can. You don't know Elias like I do, he won't hesitate to kill you all."

"That is not what I asked. Just answer the question, Talo," Sevastian said, his tone firm.
