Ceres's eyes widened at the sight of the girl safe and sound, but after a few seconds of thinking about all the possibilities she came to an understanding.

'So she has the Immortality talent…'

In this world all intelligent creatures are born with something called talent, you can be a farmer or a king, there is no exception to the rule.

These talents are split between Common, Normal, Rare, Super Rare, and Ultra Rare.

An example of a Common talent would be Soldier and an example of an Ultra Rare talent would be Holy Knight.

But something that only high-ranking people know is that there is a sixth type of talent.

Heavenly talent.

It is said that among all creatures only a Celestial talent appears once every five thousand years.

Just so you see, even Ceres who is a dragon emperor only has an Ultra Rare talent called Arcane Magic.

Among all the recorded Heavenly talents, there is one that is yearned for by all creatures.

The talent of Immortality.

Despite being called that, it does not mean that you are essentially immortal, what this talent does is that it is impossible to kill yourself in a way that is not natural.

To exemplify it, let's imagine that someone stabs you in the heart, if you have the talent of Immortality you will not die, your heart will begin to regenerate immediately after being pierced.

On the other hand, if you get sick with, say, cancer, it is possible that you will still die with the talent, because it is not considered an external attack.

With all that, the last record of the Immortality talent was over a hundred thousand years ago.

Which means that only Ceres who has lived since that time knows of the existence of that talent.

As an aside, Heavenly talents are so special that it's impossible for them to be detected with magic items or other ways.

Only the owner knows of its existence.

Seeing such a rare talent ignited Ceres's curiosity, so she immediately deciphered the little girl's language with magic.

Ceres floated a small pile of precious gems and placed it at the girl's feet.

Contrary to what Ceres thought, the girl took such action as an insult.

"Money?! Do you think money will fix what you did?!"

The girl didn't give the pile of gems a second look and kept hitting Ceres's tail.

'Strange... in my time the eight races did anything for precious gems, did they lose their value?'

In her ignorance Ceres couldn't think of another reason for him to not accept the gems.

Any other dragon would have created a spell around the girl, imprisoning her for the rest of her life.
