Grief
Hearing the snarls behind her Paige rushed to quickly open the door to the car, she worked as fast as she could and she first pushed little cupcake inside the car, she heard increased growling and snarling behind her. She wanted to ensure little cupcakes safety first.
Mark's wolf was walking away from the car, he was just about to let Paige escape when he saw a female wolf approach and his eyes instantly switched from red to black.
Mark was back in control of his body, the switch had happened when he felt the sudden urge to protect Paige. Mark had growled out in warning to the female wolf that approached but she didn't heed the warning and instead she had lunged past him straight at Paige and flung her to the ground.
As Paige placed her foot inside the car she felt her body being ripped away from the car and she was thrown onto the hard ground of the forest floor.
