He must want something

   Luella walked into the class,her eyes roaming around. They fell on Arizona and Areum, who were working and chatting.

    She frowned and walked over to her seat. She'd seen the text but decided to ignore it.

    Arizona watched Ella sit down and bring out her book. She was paired up with two other students. He sighed.

    Areum gained his attention, "Arizona!"

He turned to look at her, "Yes, Areum?"

  She said, "Uh. I won't be able to come to the café today." She said.

     His face turned worried, "Why? Are you okay?"

     Areum nodded, "Yh. I just... I'm hanging out with Kanye. So..." She suddenly felt awkward saying it. Why? It's not bad...

    "oh. Ok." Arizona nodded, his concerned face fading into a blank one.

   "yh..." Areum murmured, looking down at her book. "Tomorrow then?"

    Ari nodded, resuming his work, "No qualms."

   ⭐⭐

  She and Kanye went to a park. They had fun, chatted, played and ate. He's a very awesome guy. Since it's already pretty late, she didn't go to her music school. She went home straight.

     Walking into the kitchen, she saw her dad, who'd come to get a drink.

He smiled at her as she hugged him, "Hey daddy."

  "How have you been, daughter?" Mr Kyung smiled.

    Areum sighed, "Good. I've been busy lately though."

   Mr Kyung nodded, patting her blonde hair, "I love the fact that you aren't causing trouble. I mean , it's been whole week and i haven't been requested to come to your school. My baby is becoming a good girl."

    Areum giggled, "I've always been a good girl."

  "If you can keep this attitude up for the month, i promise you a brilliant gift!"

    Areum beamed, "Really!?"

He nodded, chuckling, "Yes."

   Areum hugged him, "aww i love you, appa."

    Mr Kyung smiled. It's not the been easy raising Areum. Her mother died of cardiac arrest when Areum was just 10. It was traumatic but they had to live on. That was when Areum's tyranny began. Always causing trouble. Always in detention.

   At first, he felt he's failed as a father, and did his best to curb her. Seems it's paying off now. At least it's been a whole week and she hasn't carried out a murder attempt towards any teacher.

   He'll give her a gift to encourage this good behaviour.

     He's been trying to get through to her for hours but she won't pick up. He even went to her house after school and the maid said she's not in, which was a glaring lie because her car was in the lot.

What has gotten into her?

   Arizona mused as he dialed Luella's number for the umpteenth time.

    Finally, she picked up the call,but said nothing.

   Arizona frowned, "Ella." no reply, "What is wrong with you, Luella?"

   "oh! So now you have my time!" She snapped.

     Arizona frowned, "What do you mean?"

     "Let me guess, Areum dumped you."

Arizona asked, "Is this because I'm friends with Areum?".  now, she said nothing.

   Arizona groaned, "I've told you, it's because of our project. Besides,what is so wrong about befriending her that upsets you?"

       Luella spat, "I don't care if you are befriending her. Just that, ever since I got back, you barely have time for me. It's always AREUM THIS, AREUM THAT. It's annoying you know." She sounded so annoyed and pitiful.

    Arizona said, "I'm sorry Ella. You know you are my best friend. And noone can replace you. Areum is just a good friend and i was busy. I'm sorry."

     Ella sighed, "Hmn. Okay. I'm sorry for giving you attitude too. I should have understood."

   He smiled, "It's okay, Ella."

She chuckled," I want to see your face. Let's face time. "

  " Ok. "Arizona smiled.

   Arizona was making breakfast when the door bell rang. Knowing who it was, he told Rose to get the door.

   Ella ran into the kitchen," Breakfast ready? "

   Arizona smiled at her," yes. "

Settling on the stool by the counter, Ella beamed," What did you cook? "

   Arizona said," Pasta. Come on. Let's eat and get to school. "

  Luella grinned as he served her food. She's missed him. Now, she'll make sure she has him all to herself. No more Areum. Even if it means ruining their friendship

Hearing the horn, Areum picked up her school bag. Yes. Kanye had promised to pick her up from her house so they can go to school together.

  She rushed downstairs and was quite surprised to see him in the living room.

   He was dashing as usual, wearing a  blue hoodie and joggers,his silky hair all over his face. Geez, no wonder girls fall at his feet.

      "Hello, My beautiful one." Kanye smiled, watching her descend the stairs.

   She smiled at him, "Hi, Kanye."

His grey eyes raked her, "You look lovely." He said.

   "Thanks." She replied, doubting that for a second. She's just wearing one dumb dress like that and wedges. Her hair in a rough bun.

      Kanye looked around, "Anyone home? Apart from your maid that is."

        Areum shook her head, "No. Daddy left earlier."

     He smiled, "It would have been a pleasure to meet him."

  Areum nodded"I guess. Shall we? "

   Glancing around, he said," Alright. Let's go. "

    ⭐⭐⭐

The bell indicating the start of the first class of the day rang. Luella and Arizona had chemistry classes. So, they walked together.

   ...  " Yh. And it was so delicious. "Luella gigged as the two made way to class.

    Arizona smiled.

Suddenly, he felt Ella grab his arm. He froze for a second, looking down at her. She smiled up at him," What? "

    Arizona didn't find it strange though, so he shook his head," Nothing. "

   Luella smiled," Good. "And she held him even closer as they walked on.

    Looking ahead, Arizona saw Areum walking towards his direction, but she wasn't alone. Beside her, was Kanye, holding her hand and laughing with her like.

     Something in him turned red as he watched the two of them.

  Kanye said something and Areum looked up, her eyes meeting Arizona's.

   She smiled at him but it died immediately as she realised he wasn't even looking at her. His eyes were elsewhere and it was glaring that he's avoiding her eyes.

     Her heart fell, noticing the pretty girl that held unto him like. Oh, maybe that's why he's avoiding her eyes.

   The pairs passed beside each other.

    Luella smirked to herself, absolutely loving the way Areum's smile faded. She'd held Arizona like that as soon as she saw Areum.

    Arizona was a little bit curious. When he passed by Kanye, their eyes met. The Kanye he knows must want something from Areum for him to get so close to her. He's been studying them. What exactly does Kayne want from her?
