Royal Mark

I had just gotten to a dark alleyway with happiness written all over my face. I had asked the most beautiful girl in school out and she said yes.

I was still skipping along happily when I heard a light cough behind me. I turned around and saw three mean looking guys with clubs in their hands.

Look who we have here ", One of them said weighing me from bottom to top " It's one of those kids from Avalon high ". Shit. My uniform gave me away.

This was trouble. These guys were from our rival school, Westbrom high. And from the looks of it, they were in a gang.

" I've seen this guy before, He's part of their basketball team ", One who had an earring on his ear said.

Fuck. This was about the match we were having in the next two weeks. There was no way they would let me off without some bruises.

"Look I don't want trouble..... ", I started backing away.

" Of course, none of us want trouble", the one in the middle who I presumed to be their leader said " But you see, we can't let you Avalon dogs go around with high hopes of winning us ". As he said this, he swung his club hitting my ribs.

I was sure I broke a few there. I lost balance and crashed to the ground. They surrounded me angrily.

" Please stop ", I pleaded. But they listen as they started stomping on my head with their hard boots. I was sure that I had broken half the bones in my body. I gave up on fighting back. Amidst blood and tears, I heard a voice.

" Oops and here I was, wondering what the smell of blood I was perceiving was ", it was hard to tell if this voice belonged to a male or female.

" And who the fuck are you ? ", One of the gang guys asked.

" I would have loved to tell you, but why would I? when you're all going to die anyway ", he smirked. I saw his face. He had long black hair, red eyes and pale skin.

" Fuck you ", the guy with the earring started running towards him .

What happened next was a shock. With blinding speed, the new man grabbed earring guy and flung him towards a wall. The guy crashed against the wall and immediately blacked out.

The new man walked over to him and brought his head closer to the guy's neck. I watched as he lost the color on his body.

The man stood with blood trailing down the sides of his mouth. He licked his lips.

" Who's next? ".

" What have I gotten myself into?", I thought as I finally lost consciousness.

The man walked over to the other boys.

" Who's next ? ", he asked.

" Mo.... Monster ", The leader shouted as he threw the club away and started running away. But the Man was too swift. He appeared in front of the guy and kicked him in the gut.

" Where you about leaving before the fun started ? ", the man grabbed the young man by the neck snapping it in the process. He started walking towards the other two.

" Oh one of my friends is already asleep..... Makes it easier for me ", he smirked, the red in his eyes glowing.

" Please have mercy ", the last guy begged.

" Mercy....... But you didn't have mercy on that guy, did you?", He smiled pointing towards Elisse. He lunged toward the boy and killed him.

" Now let's focus on you ", he said and turned towards the unconscious school boy.

As he bent to bite his neck, something stopped him.

" He has the royal mark of protection ", the Man said, eyes wide in shock. He started backing away.

" Surprised? ", Turning around, he saw the Princess standing before him.

" Princess ", he quickly knelt " I didn't realize he was yours ", he pleaded.

" Crane.... Have you stooped so low to give in to blood lust and go rogue ", She asked walking towards him.

" I'm sorry my princess ", Crane replied.

The Princess let out a piercing aura.

" I'm only letting you go because of my relationship with your elder sister ", She said and looked around " And you also helped me take out some trash.

" Thank you Princess ", The vampire called Crane took off.

Victoria knelt by his side. He had already lost too much blood and was close to his death.

" I'm sorry for bringing you into this world ",

And as she spoke her fangs were shown*... She bit into his neck.

While she did this, Someone else lurked in the shadows.

" Perfect... Perfect for my little test ", he said.
