Chapter 84: Everything Happens for a Reason

Terrence sighed at the sight, he has been waiting for the Doctor to come while watching Rion. The one who will be looking after Rion that was assigned by the HQ is arriving today. Lately Terrence has been visiting hospitals frequently. One is his son and the other one is his client that he has to make sure the safety of him. In the years he used to work as an agent for the Spectrum he never experienced to deal with so much. Unlike before the organization gives whatever help and support they could give to him in solving the case but it was a different case when he choose to solve the case of the Omegas the excitement of his coming back seems to die down the moment he choose to take that as his assignment. Though they still provides him with support only a few of the sponsors finance the project if the report he received was right only two showed interest in funding a case that no one wants to handle for the reason that first it's dangerous, second because the victims are Omegas. For a big case that should be financed largely the sponsors, members and higher ups seems to be avoiding the case. Terrence realized that even within the organization that he believes will bring justice to those who can't obtained them there is also a discrimination. Because of the said circumstances they need to double the tasks that they are doing. He was very much thankful that his cousin manage to convince his wife in helping them with the knowledge of the HQ which for the first time granted to seek help from the outside due to the reason that no agent other than them would want to take on the Job. They really have limited access to man power that's why when the opportunity appears and they met Rion the three of them suddenly got an idea in how to bring to light all what's happening in the dark in the Omegas dark world. If the plan succeed they won't just be able to drawn and handicap their enemies but they will be able to show the world the truth about Omegas and their rights as a human.

"Have you been waiting for long?" Terrence looked at the Doctor.

"No it's ok, so how is he?" Terrence asked.

"Well aside from his wounds that are healing he's ok. We just need to wait for him to regain his consciousness and he still needs to stay here till we make sure that it's ok for him to be discharged." The Doctor happily announced but the old man stayed silent for a moment.

"I don't know if you'll be interested to hear this but base on how you take care of that young man I think you need to know." The Doctor was a little skeptic but still tried anyways. "I know you might find it odd but my heart goes for those poor Omegas. I have a daughter who's as Omega too and I know how people sees them. Anyways you asked us to run a full body examination and we did."

"Did you find anything?" Terrence asked, though Terrence felt happy to know there are few people who treats Omegas the way how he and his friends treats them.

"We found a lot of scares whole throughout his body." Terrence brows meets in the middle after hearing what the Doctor just told him.

"Scars? I've seen him a couple of times but I never saw a scar in him."

"The locations of the scars are in the places where people cant see them, but the most obvious one is here." The Doctor raise the Omegas hand and on his wrist he indeed can see deep scars in different sizes and colors. It's like it has been wounded several times. Terrence thought that Rion only like those bands on his hands but they were to cover his ugly scars.

"Is this boy a.... a prostitute? I'm sorry I know I shouldn't be asking that but these types of scars can only be gotten when you are repeatedly tied up for long hours. Not just that he also have them on his ankles too. His back is full of little cut scars and not to mention cigarettes burn scars. He also have it in his inner thighs. His entrance is lacerated his womb has the signs that he had abortions. His body is high of suppressants and pregnancy pills. If he continues to do this to his own body he will destroy his own heat cycle. It might stop completely. For now I'll be prescribing him with different drugs to induce his heat. He needed to have his heat again."

Terrence is cursing inside his head right now, he didn't realize that it was worst then he could imagine. The Doctor in prison who performed the full body examination with the Omega didn't even bothered mentioning it to him. "Thank you Doctor but wouldn't you think that it will be a problem to have his heat inside the prison Jail?" Terrence asked.

"Jails have special facility built for Omegas in heat so I know it won't be a problem." There was indeed a facility but Terrence found out that it was not being used as that instead it is being used as a prostitution den. Terrence is planing to use this knowledge to expose it in trial of course they found a perfect witness from the inside who is disgusted with this kind of practice with the cooperations of the Omegas inside who has also been a victim of that scheme.

"Thank you, give him the prescription the rest I'll think about it." The Doctor smiled to him and bid him farewell. Terrence is on how to rush things out, he needed to get Rion out as much as possible.

"Hey am I disturbing?" Terrence looked behind after hearing a very familiar voice.

"No come in." Terrence invited his cousin Jules. "I thought tomorrow is your flight then why are you here early?"

Jules looked at Rion from head to toe who is still sleeping. "Is he that person? He's pretty he doesn't look like a man at all." Jules complemented.

"Should I tell Axel you said that?" Terrence threat.

"Be my guess, my wife knows that a job is just a job and a compliment is just a compliment." Jules is confident enough to say it, Axel is not the type to easily get jealous but when he is then he makes his moves before saying it, though he has been possessive towards him lately he still finds it cute.

Terrence had this playful smile on his face. "Yes that's him. I'm waiting for the person who will be looking after him that the HQ sent."

"Hey why did you left me?!"

"Quiet this is not a park to shout Clarence!" Jules whispered yell.

"What is he doing here?" Terrence asked.

"That monkey just tag along he said he wanted to meet my wife in person." Jules explained.

"Hey who's this your lover?" Clarence asked but Jules only hit him to his head.

"I'm married already he's not my lover you idiot!" Jules said.

"My client." Terrence answered back.

"Ow T it has been a very long time since I last met you." Clarence said he start acting serious all of a sudden. Terrence is a well known respected man inside the organization to the point that even Clarence shows respect to him. "So what is his case for the famous lawyer in the country to come here personally and take good care of the client."

"My client has been attempted to be murdered I just want to make sure that he's safe." Clarence eyes keeps on landing to the sleeping pale face of the Omega.

"She's an Omega, I can sense her scent." Terrence was about to correct the diplomat but Jules stopped him. He wanted to trick his best friend because the man has been holding him far away from his wife because of all his request and he knows that Clarence is not the one to take Omegas seriously, he's the kind of person who always wants a sophisticated, high class with good family background kind of alpha woman as his date, girlfriend and future wife so he's sure that his friend won't take an interest with the Omega.

"She's really pretty, she must be from a good family. Her skin looks soft. Clarence walked near the Omega to touch it's face. Even though she's an Omega she really looks like a princess."

Terrence whispered to Jules ears after hearing those absent mindlessly mumbles of Clarence. "Hey Jules I smell a perv in your friend get him away from Rion. I'm telling you he's a hunter waiting to hunt his prey."

"Don't worry that animal won't sleep a man and won't have a serious relationship with an Omega not that I have ever seen him have one even with Alphas. Clarence is a safe guy I can guarantee that." Jules whispered back.

" Well if you say so he's your best friend I'm sure you know him better than anyone else." Terrence said.

"Me and my wife are planning in letting Rion stay with him. It may not look like it but Clarence is always surrounded by high calibrated protection squad and Clarence himself has a high level of combat skills not to mention his every house is like a fortress. I don't even know why his dad is so obsess in requesting me to guard his son during important events." Jules said.

"As long as he won't touch and play Rion then I don't have any objections. Remember Rion is our trump card in this game." Terrence warned.

"I know that and don't worry Clarence is not someone who would touch someone who is off limits." Jules assured.

"The name." Clarence mumble.

"What?" Jules asked his friend about the faint question he uttered.

"I mean what's her name?" Clarence asked loudly this time

"Rion the name is Rion, I just want to remind you that Rion is my client and that Rion is an Omega as you mentioned earlier so I would appreciate it if you won't touch my client." Terrence said directly to Clarence who seem to have finally realized things.

"Don't worry I have no intention of making her mine though she seem pretty interesting. But I won't fall for Omegas, I'm destined to get married to an Alpha lady that came from a prestigious family background who carries same level of status as me. Don't get me wrong I respect my best friend's decision and I have nothing against his wife but such thing won't be possible." Clarence said explaining his side.

"Good by the way he's not a she but he's a he." Terrence revealed and he was very satisfied with the surprise looked on Jules friends eyes. "I'll be leaving first. I still need to do a lot of things so I'll leave the waiting for the arrival of the person who is assigned to Rion by the HQ to you guys."

"Wait Terrence don't go! I still need to get back home! I want to see my sweety!" Jules shouted but Terrence didn't turn around and act like he didn't hear him.

Maica woke up with the pounding pain on her head, she's in the unfamiliar room and quickly she remembers some event from last night she remembered having sex with the number 1 popular guy in their university then both of them got drunk afterwards then the man left her before some men took her. She sighed as tears starts to form from her eyes. "What am I even doing to myself?" Maica whispered as if she's asking herself a question.

"He's not going to comeback even if I do this." Then she start laughing a sad and fake laugh. She looked at the clothes she's wearing and noticed they were all women's clothes but a different one from she's wearing last night.

"You're awake!" Maica looked at the direction where the voice came and saw Dexter.

"Dext....." Maica whispered.

"I'm. little hurt to know that you came back and yet you didn't even told me." Dexter said feeling a little hurt.

"Sorry." Maica bend her head down as she whispered those words while playing her finger tips. She doesn't know where to start explaining things. The reason why she came back? Why she didn't even call? Or why she was at that place and what she's doing in there. Without noticing the tears starts dropping from her eyes.

Dexter after seeing her reaction walk immidiately to her and sit beside the bed to hug his best friend. "There there just cry it all, cry it all till you are able to let it all out." The two of them stayed in that position for a long time before Maica said the first word.

"My husband and I no longer together, he left me for his mistress." Maica start. "He said my family can no longer support his company and that the woman he's with can support him more." Maica who's still not facing Dexter continued to tell the story. " I was lonely and yet I don't want to call and disturb your happy life. I went once and saw you happy with Lee. I felt guilty that I will ruin your happy family mood if I ever appear in front of you again looking like this." Maica snipped as she carries on with what she's saying. "I go to club every night and sleep with anyone hoping it could make me forget the pain but every morning when I wake up, when the effect of the alcohol is no longer there I can feel the pain again." Maica sob and Dexter hugged her. "I love him Dext, I thought I can do it move on without him cause he has been a shitty husband towards me but I can't I love him too much."

" I don't know if you can still call it love of stupidity but who am I to say such things when I know clearly that love can make you do a lot of stupid things." Dexter pulled from the hug and cup Maica's face to make her see her eye to eye. "But Maica you should also ask yourself if it's really love that you're feeling for him or are you just hang up with your marriage. Is he still worth your tears? Cause if you ask me I'll answer immidiately no." Dexter dried Maica's tears away. "Maica you're a sweet girl and I'm sure you can still find a man who will love you the way you deserve to be loved."

"If I had choose you back then do you think will I be this miserable?" Dexter shake his head no.

"Maica, I was deeply hurt by your rejection before but looking back I finally know the reason why my confession didn't work at that time. If you hadn't rejected me I wouldn't meet Liam and Lance and if Liam and Lance didn't broke up and Liam didn't stayed in my home back then, then I wouldn't have met Lee and he wouldn't accidentally run over my foot with his car and he wouldn't fell in love with me at first sight." Dexter brush the hair that's covering Maica's face. " All the pain and heartbreak I felt before is worth cause I'm happy right now. I landed straight to my Mr. Right when everything went wrong. That's why I'm sure that the reason it didn't workout for you and your husband is because you are destined to meet someone better, the one who can give you the love you deserve, someone who fits for you. You might not be able to understand it now but in the moment when everything falls into place I'm sure you'll look back to this day and will be thankful that it happened." Dexter said

"Are you sure? Is that really true?" Maica asked like she's asking her mother if the fairies are real.

"Of course for the mean time heal your heart." Maica looked at Dexter..

"Dext can I stay here for a while?" Dexter smiled sweetly at his friend.

"Of course you are welcome here."

"What!" Teakyun looked at his brother when the man suddenly shouted in surprise. "Of course there's no problem honey, of course she's very welcome. Yes, yes..... Dexy did something happen in the club last night? Is there anything I should worried about?" Lee asked.

"How hard did he hit you?" Lee is already clenching his fist that's holding a pen. "Of course honey I won't do anything stupid." Teakyun hear a snapped and it turns out the Pen that his little brother is holding breaks into half. "Yes tomorrow will be my last day here. Don't worry I'm getting enough sleep. I'll fly back tomorrow right after my work here. Yes yes I love you, take care you two and tell Lexter Daddy loves him. I love you Dexy honey mwuah mwuah mwuah." After the call ended the office went silent.

"Looks like someone is about to get a hard lesson." Teakyun whispered.

"No one hits my husband and gets away with it." Lee answered back.

"I know you're worried since last night but to by a private plane jet here so you could go home anytime is crazy Lee." Teakyun laughed.

"Why? I'll be piloting it anyway so there won't be anything wrong about it." Lee answered back.

"I forgot that my little brother has a lot of skills and knows how to drive a lot of vehicles including the ones in air since he has a lot of time to learn other stuff. I should have made you my pilot so it would have been convenient for me to fly back and forth to different places. Ow I forgot I asked you before but you answered that you are too Lazy to pilot a PLANE!" Teakyun said sarcastically.

"Whatever take it's course and learned how to then get your licence so you could pilot one too! By the way Tea, Theo's tummy is not that small now. Assigned people to supervise things here and go home, he needs you. You can't prioritize your work over him and your child."

Teakyun face became serious all of a sudden. "You know it's not just about work. I tracked them all down and now I must established a deep root here and grow my name in the place where they laughed, played and abused my wife."

"I get that, even I is burning to see those fuckers crawl at your feet but right now is not the right time Tea, you are missing the best part of your life. If you continue to do this then don't blame me if you won't even get to see your baby come out of this world nor hear the baby's first cry." Lee warned.

"First cry? You fainted even before the baby came out, so how can you have heard the baby's first cry?" Teakyun laugh so hard till his stomach hurts. "But kidding aside don't worry I'll comeback home tomorrow together with you and I won't comeback here till Theo gives birth." The last part of what his brother just said brought smile to Lee's annoyed face.

Rion opened his eyes and saw the white ceiling he stayed looking at the ceiling unmoving for a while before he mumbles. "I'm not dead yet?"

"You're awake beauty." Rion's eyes wonder to his side without moving his head to look at the person who spoke.

"Who are you?" Rion asked, the man is tall and handsome, he has curly jet-black hair, pointy nose, thin lips, chiseled jaw, dark thick brows, a shallow double eyelid and a golden hazel eyes which complements his complexion. If it were before maybe Rion would have a crush on him or secretly hopes for the man to like him but with everything that had happened to him none of those feelings longer exist in his heart.

Clarence looked the uninterested gaze the Rion is giving him. It doesn't show any kind of emotions except for hostility, like the Omega is on guard.

"Don't worry I'm with Terrence, I'm his cousin's friend Clarence." Then a sudden genuine smile appear on the Omega's face like the big, tall wall he just put a seconds ago came crumbling down the moment he mentioned Terrence name and somehow it annoys him that the Omega trust Terrence that much.

"I'm sorry I didn't you that you are Mr. Harris's friend. I'm Rion I'm his client." Rion was about to reach out his hand to him but his right hand is connected to his dextrose bag and the other is hand cuffed to the bed side. "I'm sorry I want to properly greet you but I think that would be impossible for now."

*Another smile.* Clarence thought but he can't see any look for admiration towards him unlike the kind of admiration and attention he gets from others, one look and he knows when someone is interested to him but the Omega in front of him is not showing any of those.

"Ow have you seen Mr. Harris? Did he visit?" Clarence saw the glint of excitement as he asked him those questions.

"He did visit but left early I think he's about to go home to his wife." Clarence intentionally mentioned Terrence wife.

"Really? Did Chester visit me too even once?" Rion eyes sparkle with glee even more after hearing Terrence wife.

"You know that he's married?" Clarence asked.

Rion's happy face suddenly vanished as it was replaced by fake smiles. He knows full well how others view people like him and he no longer hated them as he fully accepted that he will constantly be looked upon as a person who wrecks family just to gain money. So it won't be any different story if even the man in front of him that he might be selling his body to his friend just so he could get him out of the jail.

"I know Chester he helped me by letting his husband handle my case." Rion said with a smile but even Clarence can tell the difference between his smile before and his smile now.

"I was just happy to know that for the first time someone visit me and worried about me. Sir Clarence what are you doing here by the way?" Rion asked.

"Ah since they all left I presented to look after you untill the person assigned for your security arrives." Clarence explained.

"Ow I see, I'm sorry for taking too much of your time and for inconveniencing you." Rion bow down as he said his sincere sorry.

"Don't you find me attractive?" Clarence didn't know where the question came from but it made Rion stopped what he's doing.

"What?" Rion asked.

Clarence massage his head out of embarrassment. "Forget what I said."

"I do find you attractive, your very handsome well it's the second time I saw a very handsome person though I see handsome guys but not as handsome as you and Mr. Harris....." Clarence looked at Rion as he calmly answered his spur of the moment embarrassing question.

"Then why don't I see any interest in your eyes?" Clarence asked another out of this world question.

"Why? Do I need to have interest towards you before I find you attractive? You can be handsome and attractive in my eyes but at the same time I can have no interest in you at all."

Rion was looking at him with innocent eyes with no malice at all. "Don't worry Sir I don't have any interest towards you. It must have been tough getting all those unwanted interest from other people." Rion added.

"T-thanks." Clarence just smile awkwardly, for some reasons he felt so uncool doing saying and insinuating things. "So what's your case?" Clarence tried to divert the topic.

"Ow that attempted murder." Rion answered with a smile on his face. "Did that scare you?" Rion asked.

"No I was just surprised, you don't look like the person who would murder someone." Clarence was indeed surprise hearing it but knowing Terrence he's not the kind of person to take a case that won't stand for the truth so he knows there's a reason for that and that the Omega is innocent.

"Ow yeah it was more on just a self defense. I'm a prostitute so a client was booked to me but when I came to the meeting place there were plenty of guys in that room and they all planed to share me. Though I'm a prostitute I still fear things as that so I run and in the process of protecting myself I stabbed the man who run after me." Rion said.

"You're a prostitute?" Clarence asked like it was all that he heard out of all the things he heard.

"Yes I am." Rion answered back not that he's embarrass since it's the truth.

"You're a male, you're an Omega and to top it all you're a prostitute with a case of murder?" Clarence wants to laugh at himself but hold himself back when he noticed that Rion is looking at him.

"Yes I am everything that you said, is there a problem with that?" Rion asked.

"No of course there's no problem." Clarence said trying to defend himself. It's the first time he made such a poor first impression of himself towards anyone in his whole life.
