C9: Rent Free

Two warriors with a few scratches on their clothes stepped into the inn through the front door.

Most of the people who were drinking and screaming in the night were now scattered on the floor, growling in their sleep. Jamie looked around and chuckled. "Everyone's out cold…"

"Losers go out in two shots. Now, these... these are heroes," Eric said, stepping over the sleeping bodies carefully. They made it to the barmaid's counter, and somehow, she was still awake.

"You two! Finally, I was waiting till you guys came…" Holly smiled at the two men. "The old man told me about the performance of you both, and I'm impressed, Jamie!"

Eric smiled upon hearing this. Both of them took a seat in front of her.

"To be honest, I'm impressed by his performance too," Eric joined in.

Jamie… honestly didn't know what to say to these two and just kept a smile on his face. 'He killed a puppy tamed by a demon king, that's all that happened.'

"You two need a beer?" Holly asked. "My treat."

Of course, why wouldn't they need a free beer?

The two drank till they were tipsy, and this is when she decided to ask them her question.

"Both of you are new to town, right? So, as a welcome treat… I wanted to give you something. There are two lodgings nearby, which are owned by me. It's right beside my house, and if any of you are interested, I'll let you guys stay for two weeks, for 50 shickles each."

Eric laughed upon hearing this. "Nothing is more comfortable for me than the paddy in a stable or the bloody damp ground, woman!"

"Well… thanks for the drink, Holly. You'll be seeing my face around town, a lot. So… see you, woman. And… Jamie." Eric left the inn as soon as the woman asked this, but... stepping on two or three people sleeping on the ground this time.

Jamie was still sitting in the counter, with a mug of beer in his hand. He had no idea where to go to catch some shut eyes, but… it was surely not in here with these smelly assholes lying all across the floor.

The barmaid leaned closer to Jamie.

"So, what about you?"

Jamie looked at the barmaid's eyes. Her eyes were sparkling with beauty, and her eyes were sky blue. They were truly beautiful.

"Me? I'll sleep among the horses too I guess since I can't waste half of the money I have, right away."

"Well, you don't have to pay if you sleep at my place."

"Your place? That's –" he stopped sipping on his bear and lowered the cup. He was dead shocked to hear this. Did she just? Is she…

Jamie smiled. "Your place, so, the couch is available?" Jamie asked, grabbing the bottle that was lying on the barmaid's counter, without her permission even.

He pulled the wooden mug near her counter closer to them and poured the beer into it.

Then, he poured himself some more and pushed the extra beer to her.

"The couch isn't available, the dog sleeps on it," she replied, changing her tone.

"Oh? The dog… well I'll sleep on the floor, or there wouldn't be any spare room or a bed, would there?" Jamie raised an eyebrow.

"Well, you're a lil more special than the dog, Jamie. And only one bed is enough for us, right?" Her lips curved into a seductive smile.

The Demon King's fingers slowly unlaced the barmaid's dress as she pushed him against the wall and kissed his lips.

Even the Demon King couldn't control the barmaid's movements.

Jamie's old ragged shirt was already down on the floor, and her uncontrollable hands were reaching inside Jamie's pants. The feeling of her breasts pressing against his chest was just… uncomfortable, which was actually feeling "really good."

She let out a loud moan as the Demon King's longsword ran through her wall.

"Harder, Jamie! Harder!" she screamed as the slow virgin Jamie moved his hips.
