"So, what are you going to do now?" Amelia asked Drew curiously.

They were currently at her garden, sipping from their seperate mugs oe steamy tea.

'Aha! life is good' Drew relished on the taste of the tea.

Days ago, he would never have expected to take a whiff of such an expensive coffe, talkless of drinking it.

He had the system to thank for giving him such privilages.

"Well, i am looking for some ingredients" he replied.

Amelia dropped her mug, her interest was piqued.

"Didn't you find them at the auction?"

"Nah. I only found the jade eyed ginseng. There are four more remaining"

Amelia fell into silence.

"They must be so rare"

Drew just shrugged. He had no idea how rare they were, he was just following instructions from the system.

'The rarer they are, the more expensive they will be right?' Drew wouldn't pass on an opportunity to spend money.

"I think i know a way to help" Amelia said suddenly, although her tone lacked confidence.

"You know of a way? tell me quick!" Drew's eyes flashed eagerly with anticipation.

Amelia saw the look of expectation in Drew's eyes. This was her chance!

"Have you heard of Calyspo Hotels and Suites?"

Although Drew had no idea what company Amelia was talking about, he still nodded his head.

"I heard that the CEO is a powerful Deviant who has a strange habit of collecting ancient antiques and rare elixirs"

"What does that have to do with me?"

"Lately, he became sick. Out of his wits, he promised to grant a favour to whoever could cure him"

The garden went silent, except for the tiny almost inaudible flapping of butterfly wings and chirping of insects.

"Is the illness that serious that the hospital can't even cure him? plus how could a Deviant end up in such a pitiful state"

Due to being at the lowest rung in society almost all his life, Drew's knowledge was shallow.

He regarded Deviants as gods!

"Delta city has poor medic facilities. Plus, Mr. Callahan's sickness is not simple"

"But what does this have to do with me? I am not a doctor" Drew frowned.

Is this lady probing me?

"Well, i don't think young master Drew is a simple person. Maybe he can find a way?"

"Is this your guess? or do you just have blind faith in me?" Drew grinned.

"What do you think?" Amelia just laughed.

Actually, she didn't think Drew was capable. She was just informing him so that in case he later found out about Mr. Callahan's issue from his hidden sources, he wouldn't blame her for hiding it from him.

She had nothing to lose!

"Where does Mr. Callahan stay?" Drew made a quick decision to visit the so-called Mr. Callahan.

"He has an estate at Queen town. It's not that far from here"

"Alright, let's go!"

At a luxury pool house, a lady with black hair drapping over her shoulder sipped from a glass of lemonade, while scrolling down her phone.

She was clad in a tight bikini that accentuated her killer womanly curves.

Judging from her wet hair, she just got out of the pool.

At that moment, an old butler walked towards her, holding a tray of cookies.

"Here goes your treat young miss Charlotte" the butler dropped the tray of snacks on the stool besides the lady in bikini.

"Say Butler Jaimes.." Charlotte pursed her lips as the chair she sat on rocked her back and forth.

"How is my father's health?"

"I'm afraid he doesn't look too optimistic. Of All the doctors who have come, none have been able to diagnose the master's illness"

"Those trash. And they dare call themselves doctors?" Charlotte clicked her tongue in annoyance.

However, her aggressiveness made her exclude a strange kind of seductive charm.

'Ah, the young miss is a top notch beauty. A shame that she has refused the advances of any man' Butler Jaimes sighed inwardly.

He had a son who had been pursuing after the young miss for years. Although his son's love was genuine and efforts persistent, the young miss never took him serious.

"The young miss shouldn't berate doctors like that. Although the master is influential, his influence cannot extend past Orbit town and the estate. There are plenty capable doctors out there in Parish county and the other four counties" Butler Jaimes explained.

"But why are they not doing anything huh? Was my father's rewards not eye catching enough?" Charlotte pouted in displeasure.

"That is hard to say. Although the master is powerful, there are still others more powerful than him. If it was one of the twelve great families of Delta city who gave such promises, many capable doctors will flock in"

"Then what will we do to attract their attention? my father's condition isn't looking too good. I am afraid that he might die the next day" Charlotte was no longer in the mood to drink.

Somehow, the sweet lemonade tasted more sour than unripe lime.

"If the master knew, he wouldn't be in his current state" Butler Jaimes massaged his temples.

Charlotte fell into deep contemplation. Her brows knitted up like she was in a deep mental conflict.

After a while, she sucked in a deep breath, her eyes resolute.

"Butler Jaimes, can i ask you something?"

"Ask away" Butler Jaimes bowed his head.

"How far can you spread a news?" a smile played on Charlotte's lips.

"How far? what do you have in mind?"

"The whole world"

"Uhm. That's too far stretched. Your father's influence has barely reached city level" Butler Jaimes smiled awkwardly.

"Fine. How long can you make news circulate through the whole of Delta city?"

Butler Jaimes held up his chin, seemingly deep in thought.

"If i spend a reasonable sum, thirty minutes"

"Isn't that too slow?" Charlotte frowned.

"I can shorten it to ten or fifteen minutes at most. However, the prize is going to be quite hefty" Butler Jaimes smile wryly.

Aish! Wasn't the young miss overestimating her father's capability too much?

Charlotte felt an omnious feeling welling up in her heart.

She steeled herself together and asked.

"How much are we talking about here?"

"Five hundred thousand to one million dollars" Butler Jaimes gave a rough amount after some quick mental calculations.

"That much!" Charlotte propped herself up, no longer treating the matter casually.

"If we need to advertise the news as quickly as possible, we must patronize the services of capable news blogs and websites"

Charlotte felt her heart ache. That was one million dollars.

However, thinking out of the box, if it meant curing her father, that sum was worth it.

"Alright, do it"

Butler Jaimes hesitated before speaking.

"If i may ask, what news does the young miss intends to publish?"

Drew was currently at the passenger seat of Amelia's car. Besides him was Amelia, who seemed to be occupied reading a fashion magazine.

Pui! Women and fashion. Tsk. Tsk.

Bored, he decided to open the system. He currently had plenty of deci points.

It was time to increase his strength!

Didn't the system claim that two deci points was equivalent to a single stat points?

After Drew accepted the permission to advance, he felt a searing pain wreak havaoc within his body.
