chapter 1 the beginning

I ran and ran and ran till I can run no more. I stopped under a shade of a tree to catch my breath and gain some of my strength before I can continue my journey for survival.

My name is Alexandra "Sandra" Mecknight, I am the only daughter of Mr Alexander Mecknight and Mrs Alisha Mecknight who where both murdered by my uncle for their wealth and property. Let me take you back to the beginning of how things happened.

My dad was from a family of four with his dad and mum my grandparents and him as the first child then my uncle, uncle Mark as the youngest. My grandparents where farmers and hardly had enough income to sustain them, the family was going through a lot but still they were able to send both my dad and my uncle to school which they both were doing great in their studies. When they graduated from high school and where about to go to the university my grandparent could not afford to pay both their school fees which led to my dad sacrificing his study for my Uncle's with the agreement that my uncle will assist him to study after he graduated from school.
