[The deafening sound of victory echoed inside his head, cried out of triumph filled the air, but the only thing he could focus on was his heartbeat quickens by second. The scene that happens within a flash of a moment keeps playing inside his mind, numbing and torturing him.
Nothing he could do, besides holding her frail body that had gone white, softly shaking her in hope to wake her up, holding her tight in a wish to feel her heartbeat, fear from breaking her frail looking body, deep down wishing for a slight hope of just a flinch of reaction from her, just once.
