Rydan looks around, not willing to meet Elleryn uncanny eyes, her confused expression or even her beautiful pouting lips.
No! Rydan didn't think it's beautiful, it's just lips!
"Erm... I want to apologize," Rydan finally said.
This time looking at her eyes, the one attentively staring back into his eyes, she raised her eyebrow as a little smile was shown, enough to make Rydan a little bit dizzy. But he chooses to shake his head and looks away, aware that the smile will never leave his mind, he knows it.
"I accuse you the first time we met,” his ears slowly turning red, Elleryn bites her lower lip upon that discovery, hadn’t her parents told her that werewolf doesn’t feel cold?
“And I want to apologize," Rydan stated, still not looking at her eyes. However, his wolf barked at him vigorously, urging him to look at her, to let him see her, and he finally did. But he knows he shouldn't, that night he shouldn't look her way and look into her eyes. He had fallen into something he can’t comprehend.
A smile stretched upon her lips, a sincere and full smile, as her eyes twinkled with something he couldn’t decipher, while her pale white cheek had turned bashfully red from the snow, his hand tightly clenched by his side, suppressing the urge to warmth up her cheek.
She nods at him, then staring at the ground as a few strands of hair fall around her eyes. It’s slightly covering her flushed cheek, but he is still able to view that beautiful smile.
"Okay," she whispered, so soft and light.
She turns around and leaves him behind.
That night, Elleryn chose to ignore it. The way Rydan heartbeat quickens after meeting her eyes, the way his breathing hitch at that time and the way his dark eyes flashing with gold had widened under the night sky.
She had chosen to ignore it as well. The way her heartbeat quickens as well.

The next day, feeling refreshed after receiving strength from the mermaids, Elleryn decided to spend her time on the pavilion in the middle of the palace garden. Although there were no flowers around, the cold snow did not affect her the way it used to be. She chooses to read a book she brings from her homeland, looking around before she takes deep breaths from the morning fresh air.
Deair notices her when she walks around the garden, with brightly lit eyes, she runs towards Elleryn and hugs her immediately. Elleryn chuckles, but she returns the hug.
Deair lets go and sit right beside her, looking at her with a smile.
"Are you feeling better now?" Deair asked.
Elleryn nods, "Do you want me to talk with Willia?" Elleryn offered.
Deair shakes her head, casting her sight to the ground. Actually, she feels guilty, this past three days she has heard stories about Willia, but she hasn't listened to any stories about her before. As Daughter of Qye, Elleryn must feel pressured and have a big burden on her shoulder, perhaps talking about that matter will ease Elleryn's mind.
"Why don't you tell me about yourself instead?" Deair asked, raising her head and stare at Elleryn. She was a little bit hesitant at first, but honestly, she didn't know much about a Daughter of Qye. The only one she knows is Lady Byrl, Deair isn't close to her, and when she is alive, Deair was busy trying to forget and fake her happiness. Now it’s different, she had found her happiness from a Daughter of Qye, Deair wants to bring a tiny ease of mind for her at least.
Elleryn was a little bit surprised, but she welcomed the offer. Having a person to talk to is always better than nothing, with a deep breath she looks at Deair and nods.
"What do you want to know?" Elleryn said.
Eager to tell her anything and everything Deair wishes to know about herself. Elleryn couldn't think of how the palace would feel like without Deair, it will someday be a duty as a Princess to leave the palace and she will find her mate and live with him someday. Still bearing the Princess title and status, but she can't come inside the palace without being summoned by the Crown Prince.
Elleryn must cherish each time she had with Deair.
Deair thinks for a while. Her lips pout, while her eyebrows form a line. She is thinking for a while before she shrugs at her.
"Anything you want to share, your strength, your family... your friend?" the last one was odd, Deair knows it though. Everyone knows it will be difficult for a creature to form a friendly relationship with a Daughter of Qye. From a young age, the first daughters of Qye kept inside the household of Qye, they are trained to control their unlimited power, were taught the History of creatures, learned the tradition between Qye and Suttern, then realizing that her only existence is to die inside Suttern.
Deair knows, but she asks anyway.
Ellleryn hums and then thinks for a while, a smile etched on her beautiful lips. She chooses to whisper her words, hoping no one could hear her, but someone in the corner happens to pass by when Deair runs towards her. That someone who chose to observe from far away, hoping she didn't know his presence. Yes, she didn’t know, because she is distracted by what's in front of her now, the twinkling golden eyes of Deair.
"You know each Fairy only has one special’s ability, right?” Elleryn inquired, eyes searching Deair’s face, as the first daughter of Qye, Elleryn is the only Fairy who happens to have all of abilities, while the rest of Fairy race received their only ability quite early on. Elleryn waits for affirmation from Deair, once she nods her head, Elleryn continued.
“My Father, Leor Qye has the ability to let out fire from his mouth, just like a fire dragon” Elleryn chuckles softly, drowning herself within memories, “mother had always teased him for it, but Father always be the one to light up fire at our home.”
“It's always a sight to watch. We all will be laughing at how ridiculous he looks," Elleryn chuckles once again. Deair smiles, imagining the old man from that time, trying to light up a torch with the fire coming from his mouth, simply a funny image.
Elleryn takes a deep breath, "My mother has the ability to heal. Whether its cuts, bruises or diseases. However, just like me, each time she heals a creature, it will hurt her as well. It all depends on how much energy she exerted to heal a creature" Elleryn explained. A little bit serious this time, because she knows, if someone from her family is hurt, her mother will never hesitate a bit to heal them.
"Do you remember my big brother? Ladon Qye?" Elleryn looks at Deair once again, trying to make sure that Deair still follows her words. Once again the girl nods her head vigorously, assuring Elleryn that she will always listen.
"He has the ability to control lightning. My little brother, Fabin and Kyzen always make sure not to anger him, because they are afraid to be stricken by Ladon's ability. I do know Ladon has the perfect control over his abilities,” her eyes soften when she shares bits about Ladon, though it replaces with a light laugh seconds later.
“Fabin, on the other hand," Elleryn shakes her head as if he is right in front of her. A certain memory of him pops up, the way Fabin looks at her with disagreement and a pout, but he still is not able to control his ability, just like any other day. "He has the ability to control the weather with his emotion. Weather only affects the one area around him, pretty much our home. If he is happy, it will be clear and bright weather, if he is mad, it will turn stormy, if he happens to be sad, rain is expected,” Elleryn shakes her head, taking a deep breath to control her chuckles.
“When he comes to the palace at that time, we make him drink some herbs to disconnect his ability for a few hours. Because we all know he wouldn't be able to control it," Elleryn stated, her eyes sparkling with certain memories.
Elleryn purse her lips, looking as though she is deep in thought, “Kyzen is different from Fabin. Even though, he is younger, but he is much calmer and collected," a little smile forms on Elleryn's lips, proud of talking about her little brother.
"He can talk to the spirit, If somehow you catch him talking with no one within the surrounding, it's him talking with a spirit. He thinks the dead deserves a friend just like the living. Fabin always hates it whenever Kyzen talks to the spirit around a dinner table, he doesn't want to admit he actually is scared, not that the spirit is scary anyway,” Elleryn smiles towards Deair. Deair nods, because Willia is a spirit as well.
Elleryn's expression slightly turned somber, but a trace of a smile still placed on her lips, "Ezana, she is different. She doesn't have a particular ability or we haven't discovered her yet, but a dragon chooses to be by her side. Her name is Genieve, a white dragon with a beautiful moon mark on her forehead. You may not believe it, but Genieve sits right behind Ezana that time we all gathered inside the hall," Elleryn stated. Witnessing Deair's eyes wide with surprise and disbelief, but Elleryn just nods.
"She chooses to be invisible, only make her presence known when she wants to. But Ezana could still see her, that time when Princess Lorra was about to attack Ezana, if you don't say something to her, Genieve herself would be the one to attack Princess Lorra, she was upset and angry towards her. Fortunately, Ezana calms her,” Elleryn explained.
Deair nod.
