Never in a million years did Marcus think that he will be chosen as the marriage candidate for the king of werewolves. Especially when he is a prince and not a princess! But the king made his choice and the humans are in no power to refuse him. For humanity's sake, you go along with it. But problem is that he isn't the only one married to him. He has to fight for the king's affection with other consorts. He finds that he has to brush on his skills and seduce and gain the affection of the werewolf king who is a hybrid. Royan dropped to the ground. The sleeping spell merged with the contents of Marcus's blood that he siphoned hurt him and he lost consciousness.
Marcus woke up, he was confused. The last thing that he recalled was looking at the maps the king was showing him when he lost consciousness. Then he felt Royan's magic. The boy woke him up.
He used his magic to create a fire. The fire hovered around them in the carriage revealing the people in the room with him.
Marcus panicked when he saw Royan lying there unconscious. He had just felt the man siphon the enchantment he was under away from him.
His panic only increased when he saw the blood coming from the boy's nose, ears and eyes. He went ahead and picked Royan up from the ground and held him close to his heart.
