Never in a million years did Marcus think that he will be chosen as the marriage candidate for the king of werewolves. Especially when he is a prince and not a princess! The cure
Alwyn arrived at the scene he saw the witches struggling to keep Morpheous and Reina alive. The Seat was frozen in place looking at the scene.
He moved forward to get to the witches, going down on one knee he cut open his wrist. He let his blood trickle from his hand to Morpheous's mouth.
The witches stopped their spells, they watched him trying to find out what he was up to. "It's working," Royan let out to them.
Marcus opened his eyes and dropped the prism to the ground. The illusion that he had lived through ended, no fake Morpheous could ever amount to the real deal.
He could feel life return to him. The moment that he saw Morpheous growing weak and being drained of life, it felt like a part of him was also dying.
He realized that he had spent a lot of time trying to push the man away forgetting that the man was his life. Without Morpheous around, the sunshine loses its glow. The moon seizes to rise for him and the nights are dark.
