The dog wags her tail at Jace and sneezes in reaction to his question.
/"This is why I have been gone for so long,/" I say to him walking out of a shadow with a beat-up Galvin. I drag him to the middle of the barn and throw him into a pile of hay.

I grab a chair and put Galvin in it before taping him in with duct tape.
/"Bitch,/" he calls me spitting blood and a broken tooth at me. /"How dare you, do you even know who I am?/"
/"Don Galvin of the Irish mob in greater Boston, yes I do know who you are./"
/"Anna, this is against the rules./" Jace says with concern of what I’m doing. /"This will disrupt the balance./"
