<Daniela's POV>
My name is Daniela Coldrake. I'm the youngest and only daughter of the Coldrake family. I have an elder brother that loves me very much called Brandon, and a pair of caring parents, Simon and Marina. My family love me so much, that for 12 years I thought I was the most fortunate girl of the whole world.
Then, things only got better. One day, when I was practicing my swordsmanship, I met the love of my life, a man called Sean. He was the only son of a knight, he had blonde hair and green eyes. He was a real candy.
Soon enough, we started spending time outside of sword practice. We became close to each other, I really was picturing my future with him. But, that dreams were crushed when I turned 14. That day I received the worst gift from him... an invitation to his wedding.
That's right he was getting married to someone else. My heart shattered in a million pieces when I read that invitation. It was clear that he didn't feel the same way I feel for him, but stupidly I hold on to the hope that this was a forced marriage. So, I decided to go and confront him.
When I arrive to his home and asked him for an explanation he said...
"I'm sorry Danny, but when I met her I knew she was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with."(Asshole)
With that simple sentence he disregarded all the time we spent together. I ran away to my home while crying. The moment I arrived home, I shut in my room and I stayed there for two days.
Once my parents convinced me to went out of my room. They looked at me with pained expression. I didn't blame them, I felt like I was dead in life. I guess it reflected in my physical appearance.
Days flew by and before I realize it, nine months have passed since the day of my death.
One day, my dad went to visit other noble, I usually didn't care about my dad's business. But that day was different, when he returned home, I was summoned to his office. And there he told me that my engagement had been decided and that I was going to meet my fiancé in two months time. But first, I was going to spend time with my grandmother-in-law to see if I was worthy of him.
I thought that it was going to be a pain, and I was right. When I met my grandmother-in-law, the first thing she did was teach me about manners and the like. But, a surprise came a month later. She told me that my fiancé was the son of her son that ran away from the family, and that I would have to teach him the noble's ways. This was going to be more of a pain that what I initially thought.
Another month passed by, and before I knew it, I was on my way to my fiancé's house. His house was on a small village near the beasts forest. What a dangerous place to live in. Who in their right mind would go to live there voluntarily!?
When we arrived to his house, we where receive by a black haired beautiful woman with green eyes. Apparently, she is going to be my mother-in-law, and for my surprise she was dress in clothes that seemed to be meant for pharmacists. Her name was Jessica. She told us that my fiancé went out to train and that he would return a little past noon. By the way, I didn't knew my fiancé's name until now, his name is Alef.
While we were waiting, my family-in-law started to chat. From their conversation I found out that my father-in-law died not long ago. He died while he was protecting this village with my fiancé from a beast. At least my fiancé is kind person.
Soon after, two people entered the house, a man and a woman. The two of them were good looking. The woman had straight black hair, red eyes and snow pale skin. The man was tall, with curly pitch black hair, green eyes and slightly tanned skin. The man was my fiancé, Alef.
What happened next? They ignore me and started arguing about my fiancé's future. With their discussion, I found out that the woman that was with Alef is his master, Miss Freya.
I was trying my best remain invisible while they were arguing. I didn't want to be dragged into that. I would have thought that my fiancé would do the same but he started drinking tea and eating cookies without a care in the world. Seeing him like that made me smile slightly. It was the first time I had smile sincerely since that day.
But, that slight happiness didn't last long, for some reason their argument turned into a match between Alef and I. Well it could have been worst, at least I'm confident in my swordsmanship. I have trained almost everyday since I was ten.
And... my confidence got crushed in an instant, it took him only one attack to defeat me. That was incredible!!!! I didn't know he was such an impressive warrior.
"I couldn't even see him, I just reacted because of my sense of danger. What kind of training has he being doing?
If I somehow get her master to train me too. I will improve by leaps and bounds. Hehehehe"(Daniela)
