Chapter 3: Planning The Future (Part 1)

We get out of my car and approaches Delinda, "where were you been?" I looked at her, "we were staying at her mom's house. There is any concern that everything is okay?" She nods. "your cats miss you," I miss them too. She looks at my hand, "you already a spouse now?" I forgot. "W-we haven't official yet, take it slow" shit, why would it happen? She looks at me suspiciously, "l-let it is, okay. We should talk about this in that trailer," okay, I feel the tension.

"So, here is your new employee's list, and I hope you like it," I let Rose saw it too, "you agree?" She looks at me confusedly, "are you my secretary, Lobak?" Why would this happen to me!? "I forgot," I'm wearing my glasses, "l-let me read it first, okay?" I took a deep breath.

"Does she okay?" I let her talk, so what happened before we've got here was an accident! A real one. The short version of the story is, I saw her naked body, it's a pure accident! I don't know that she was in her room naked! I already got slapped on my precious head, and it's from her mom. "See, you should be careful with her," Delinda, come on!

"Done!" I put the list on the desk, "so, do you agree? If you not, I can change that" I nodded, "I wanted to send them to the camp for a couple of weeks, is that okay?" She looks at me, "can you repeat it?" I sighed. "I need them honestly, and I wanted them to join a military camp because for the future." She looks at me.

"They can fool you, but not after this," I sighed. "I have a reason for this. I don't want to get a bad reputation. To prevent all of the problems from the past from happening over again." I looked at Delinda.

"Maybe I can make money as much as I can in 4 days, but I can't make my employee's character better than before." She nods, "am I include?" I looked at Rose, "all of them, except me." I chuckle, "I'm sorry, but I also contracted to watch you all the time!" Delinda nods, "and I am pregnant," I'm laughing. They looked at me confusedly. I can't hold it.

"Oh my, God! I can't hold it!" I wipe my tears, "both of you should look at your face right now," they smacked my head, "hey! Stopped it," gosh, I mess with the wrong person.

"So, please be serious!" I sighed and chuckles, "I'm not serious when I was saying both of you join the camp, but for the Chief of all departments, including you and me, Delinda. Joined a leadership course, and for Rose secretary course. How about that? Did you both agree?" They both nod their head. "That's better than you told us to join the camp." I giggled.

"Yeah, but when do we start?" I nodded, "I have a friend who can help, but would it cost me money?" She shrugged her shoulders, "why would you not asking your friend?" She's got the point.

"So, Delinda and I will go to Singapore for a few days, and you Rose, you will come with me as well, but you at a different place. It's not far from the event attend." She nods. "Acceptable?" She nods, "what about my mom? You promised her to come back on Friday till Sunday," she's right. I can't leave her alone. "She can come with us," Delinda sighed.

"I want an ice cream," I looked at her, "you have a husband, right?" She nods, "go call your husband. I'm not your wife," I drink the mineral water. "But my babies said they want you to buy them," I chocked. I looked at Rose, "it's okay, I don't want her babies drooled if you not granted their wish," this weird superstition. "Okay," I get out to buy ice cream," bet it's my lucky day! I saw an ice cream man, standing right there, "hey, I wanted to buy three Paddle Pop Shaky-Shake, please" he opened the box.

"I only have two," I sighed, "what about Trico?" he picked one, "that's it?" I nodded, " 20.000 IDR" I gave him cash, "keep the changed," I grabbed the plastic, and I walked to the trailer. "You want Shaky-Shake or Trico?" Delinda picked Trico. That's my favorite, "I know it's your favorite, but please be careful when you eat that." I sit on the couch, "so, what do we do next?" I gave her Shaky-Shake, "it's expensive Paddle Pop ice cream all the time," I looked at the list one more time.

"You already did some background check?" She nods, "one of them from a broken home family like you. He worked at HSBC Bank" I nodded. "Married?" She shook her head, "single," okay, should I change him? "It's that okay? Or I can find another?" I shook my head, "no, don't change it," I took a deep breath. Why I'm terrified of him? "Hey, are you sure? You look terrified with something," I sighed.

"Never mind," I took a deep breath. I hope what comes with mine becomes mine forever. "You seems thinking something... pervert." Yeah, whatever, "no, you don't react," I hummed. "Can I meet him?" They looked at me, "there is any reason you want to meet him?" I nodded.

"Worked as Financial Officers in the bank will make you rich also. He graduated from an outstanding university. But, can you deliver me to him?" I hope she doesn't mind, "listen to me, if you don't want him in your company, it's okay. I get it," I sighed. "I want him, so bad. I wanted to know why he quit his current job?" She nods. "You want me to accompany you?" I shook my head. "Let me Hanks take care from here, Rose. You can get the report from Hanks. But this time, trust me," she looks me in the eye.

"I hope she does not hurt innocent people," I hope, "I promise," I kissed her lips slowly, and it's taste like ice cream. But, more than that. "So, let's decide what theme we should pick from our new office? "I wanted to write down what our employees need or priority. I hope you can write down the reason too," I give Delinda a piece of paper and a pen.

"You rich but, why did you choose V-5 from Snowman?" I sighed, "I like it because not make my fingers tired when I was writing on the paper." She hummed, "so what about your signing pen?" I shook my head, "you know, when you want to send a proposal, I prefer using PDF instead of paper. They were messy and not neat. We have a lot of employees, and I'm an author. So, I was afraid that I'm shredding the wrong paper" Rose nods her head.

"You were afraid of something, right?" I looked at her, "don't mind me, I'm a statue," I nodded. "What if I told you would you believe me?" She looks at me, "it depends," I sighed. "I was afraid of this guy," I pointed to his picture. "I was afraid to lose you," she looks at me, "you will not lose me, Lobak. Believe me," I looked at her.

"As you said, we should be professional when we are on the work, right?" I nodded. "Honestly, what I look inside you, you were afraid of him because you scared to passed the line, right?" I nodded. "I was afraid I kill him," she nods. "I know you wouldn't." I nodded.

"Done!" She gave me, "honestly, I can make four more papers for your shopping list," I looked at the paper, "let's go, Rose, we should shopping," I stood up and holding her hand tightly. What happens next, only God knows.
