Today was the first day of school in my first year as a middle schooler. It was a pretty boring day all we did was get our schedules and our home room teacher explained how we were going to go to all seven classes per day. I just sat in the corner listening to music and ignoring everyone else and their antics. We went to lunch and came back and nothing happened, that was until a boy named Javier threw a ball of paper at the boy in front of him who's name was Andre. Andre stood up and shouted
"Who the F@!* threw that!"
Javier stood up to his full height of 5,7 and said
" I did, and what are you going to do about it."
Andre may have been 5,4 but he didn't back away from Javier and instead took a step forward and was eye level with Javiers chest. The teacher tried to get them to stop, but she was a tiny 5,2 woman so she got other students to go get more teachers. As soon as they ran off Javier sent Andre flying with an uppercut square to the jaw. Andre landed hard on a desk near me, then he stood up and charged Javier landing a solid punch straight to his face. We heard a sickening crunch that was Javiers nose breaking, and he let out a blood curtailing scream of rage and pain. Andre pummeled Javier in the stomach until he doubled over in pain and fell to the ground. Andre then started to kick Javier in the stomach, and we heard a few more crunches that I knew were his ribs shattering. Andre kicked Javier in the head and he went limp, either out cold or dead. About five seconds went past that felt like five years, until the shock was broken by three teachers running in and seeing Andre standing over Javiers limp body. One of the teachers tackled Andre to the ground while the other two came to comfort the kids huddled in the corner, and there I was sitting in the back corner of the room still listening my music unbothered by what just happened. Andre had just established his place in the social hierarchy as number two, the only one above him was me.
